- "After finally finding this place using our Waze app, we were pleasantly surprised. The listing only says Bucks County, the owner said it was in Carversville & the Waze said it was in Plumstead. It is a 15 min ride to New Hope. The host, Joann told us it was set back from the road & the mailbox across the street, this helped. P Parking was nice and the room was around the side of the house with a private deck facing the beautiful pool, which we used, and beautiful countryside. I woke up early to catch the most beautiful sunrise. The bed was comfortable. We used the small fridge and Keurig. Coffee set up. Fortunately I brought a blower dryer, I didn’t see one, there was an iron & nice big tv. The bathroom was a nice size.there were fruit trees on the grounds & Joann offered me peaches, which I canned when I returned home. The property is a work in progress and not fancy but so comfortable and quiet. The host answered my questions promptly before our stay. We attended a family reunion in Lambertsville about a 1/2 hr away."

Breakfast is served! Enjoy a continental welcome breakfast on your first morning stay. Our frittata is made with locally sourced eggs and vegetables, home made sourdough bread and jam and seasonal fruit, as well as coffee, tea and juice.

The guesthouse is located above the detached garage.

Situated two miles from the center of Doylestown Borough; less than a mile from Delaware Valley University and SEPTA train station and two miles from the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa. Walking, running and biking trails meet at the end of our driveway taking you to the Pine Run Reservoir, Lake Galena and more.

We are unable to accommodate pets but Holiday House Pet Resort is less than a mile away.

This is a smoke free house. Smoking is permitted on the breezeway, only.

- "Melissa and her husband were great Hosts! They really put a lot of thought and effort into their place. It's a beautiful and really quiet place. A lovely neighborhood to walk. Close to Doylestown. We really enjoyed our time there. " - "As a small group of high school friends who hadn't seen each other for several years and were spread out in the general area, we were just looking for a place to get together that was within range for all of us to meet, share a meal and reminisce. We wanted the privacy and space to feel like we were 'at home' as opposed to going to a restaurant or another public space. This place checked all of the boxes. Clean, private, very spacious, and stocked with every amenity we needed. The rental is in a nice, bucolic, somewhat secluded area, but within proximity to everything one may need and easy to find. We all loved it. The hosts were organized, accommodating and very communicative. Excellent all around. Although we didn't stay overnight, the place was clearly set up to do so comfortably with 2 nice bedrooms. I highly recommend this rental and the hosts."

In addition, it is only a few miles from the Delaware River and Canal and the recreational activities they offer-- biking, hiking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking. Plus, for the art lovers there are dozens of galleries and museums to visit. Or,
