This newly remodeled VRBO is one of three private apartments located within an old farm style house on a quiet residential street only five minutes from downtown Media, PA w/ quick access to Route 1 and 467. The original farm house built in the 1890’s, once extended to and encompassed many of the surrounding homes, and now sits on 1 ¾ acres. Inside you’ll find a fully functional kitchen, tv w/ wifi/roku capabilities, dvd player, board games, and a Tempurpedic KING size mattress.
The Space
The apartment is located on the second floor. There is one other unit upstairs, and an owner occupied unit downstairs. All units share a communal front door and hallway leading to the individual apartments' front doors. There is a large gravel driveway to park in which can accommodate larger or multiple vehicles, including small RV or moving trucks.
Use the keypad to let yourself in. The newly remodeled bathroom is directly right of the door. The living room is complete with comfy loveseat and armchair, featuring a roku (for use with your own credentials-just remember to delete before you leave!) a dvd player, and board games. There is even a pass through window from the kitchen. The kitchen is fully functional, with an eat-in dining table. Other amenities include: toaster, kettle, microwave, coffee and pot/tea/hot chocolate, digital TV, and access to washer and dryer in the basement. There are humidifiers and extra fans in the closet. The basement is located through the door to the right of the front door upon entrance.
Guest access
Fresh linens and extra blankets are located in the bedroom closet and in the bathroom closet.
Laundry machines and detergent are available in the basement. If you use, please be conscious to keep your laundry moving, as the machine is used by other tenets on the property.
This house has radiant baseboard heating, which can take some time to get to the desired temperature. You will need to turn the heat down before bed. I recommend turning it down to at least 60.
Please set the temp to 55 when you check out.
The roku is accessed via changing the input setting on the universal remote.
Do NOT unplug the tv or roku. Those who choose to do so will be charged 10 dollars for the time it takes to reprogram the devices.

Feel free to gather outside or walk the property and enjoy the fresh air. There is also an undeveloped park/woods down the road towards the creek that is fun to explore.
Please respect the neighbors and adhere to respectable quiet hours. There are two other units on the property.
While we can accommodate those in need of extra or enlarged parking, we ask that guests not a part of your booking party do not stay the night.
This apartment is keyless, but the hosts are on site if anything is needed. We will do whatever we can to ensure your stay is wonderful!

The Rose Tree Park Summer Festival FREE concert series runs Wed-Sun evenings mid June-mid August.
