I am so grateful and happy we found this place. The location was convenient to everything. The check in process was super smooth and Christian is very nice and helpful. The 2bd apt wasn't huge but the beds in each bedroom were comfortable and we even had enough space to eat breakfast together in the well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is very small but if just need a space to shower and get cleaned up it was perfect. The entire apartment was also very very clean when we arrived! I hate to leave a mess so I actually even went and bought a broom to sweep up some of the sand all of the place. Really the only downside was no elevator (we were on the 3rd floor) but who doesn't need a little exercise every now and then. Building was also pretty secure. Passcodes to get onto the respective floors and then another code to get in to the apartment. Parking was a bit tricky, especially since we had to pick up trucks but we were fortunate to find parking right front and also utilized the parking lot just a few minutes on the corner. I don't have any complaints regarding our stay at Garfield Beach House. Affordable, clean, safe, dog friendly and only 2 blocks from the boardwalk. We will definitely be back! Kiwi's Cottage is one of three Villas D’Amico family-owned apartments just one and a half blocks from the beach near Wildwood Crest. We are part of the Turtle Getaways collection of premier vacation properties.

The Space:
Kiwi's Cottage has two bedrooms and one full bath, dining area, a full kitchen, living room, WIFI, A/C, and heat. There is an outside private porch perfect to enjoy coffee in the morning and the cool breezes of summer evenings. There is a washer/dryer in a common area for guest to use during their stay. We are ideally located: 1.5 blocks from the beach and boardwalk, 3 blocks from the convention center, and a block to Duffer's and Marvis's Diner. The outside area has plenty of room for outdoor fun and dining complete with a gas grill and outdoor seating. Kiwi's Cottage can be rented together with Darcy's Beach House and PG's Bungalow for a shared vacation experience with friends and family. Your reservation includes linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach cart and an umbrella. We have a dedicated driveway for check in and check out. Street parking is free using the provided parking permit, one permit per apartment. Kiwi's Cottage is Pet friendly; please check our house rules for details.

Guest Access:
Guests will be provided with a unique door code prior to check-in. A parking permit will be available at check-in. In addition, the property manager, Denise, greets all our guests to acquaint them with the property.

The Neighborhood:
Family friendly residential neighborhood with direct access to beach and boardwalk, one and a half blocks from the beach at Wildwood Crest.

Getting Around:
Kiwi's Cottage is in walking distance to restaurants, amusements rides on the boardwalk, and to the beach. We are a short drive to Cape May and other shore communities.

Note, if you have any sensitivity to pet allergens please be aware that pets are regularly present in this home. There is a $50 per pet per stay fee. If you have more than one pet a separate invoice will be issued.

Our home is uniquely located on the bayside of Wildwood, far removed from the hustle and bustle yet close enough to enjoy all the amenities of the beach and Boardwalk. At anytime you can see egrets, herons and mallard ducks milling around looking for a snack. Taking our canoe out onto the back bay , just steps away.. fishing is also a treat right on the dock where the scallop boats come in to moor. If you don't want to drive to the beach you could walk the six blocks or take our bikes. Not a problem. Great seafood store down the street so you can barbecue your shrimp on your grill.
We have a Lovely 1st floor unit with a private porch for you to relax on while watching the boats , both commercial Scallop fisherman steaming in and out as the traffic on Rio Grande Blvd comes to a halt and the drawbridge rises ever so slowly, waiting for the towers and outriggers to drift by..... and of course all the myriad local resident fisherman and pleasure boats of all types.
A full bedroom and full bath with a combination living room and kitchen. Great place for a couple or a party of 3. Secure parking and access to the marina down the street... just in case you have your own boat! Maybe you have kayaks? Bring them down!

- "This place was an awesome retreat from all the action, but so close to all the favorite spots. My boyfriend had fond memories of the Crest and the rides of Wildwood, and this place was so close to all the spots that he wanted to visit. It’s located on a dead end street with only a few turns from coming onto the island. We enjoyed sitting on the porch with my dog watching people taking their boats out on the bay and hearing nightlife across the channel. MJ was very attentive to not only us but also my dog! This is a great place for that introvert get away who likes to hear Wildwood but without being immersed into wildwood! The porch was excellent and the sub zero fridge was the perfect size for our stuff, and moved that there was Ice! Would definitely stay again!"

It was just as it appeared- small but very comfortable, updated and well taken care of. The owners were very responsive- the screen door wasn’t on the track when we arrived. It was fixed within 30 minutes of us mentioning it. I had been concerned about window A/C units instead of central air, but there was one in every room and they looked new and worked well- we were to tally comfortable a d it was nice to be able to regulate the temperature in every room. The only thing I would change would be to add some large drinking glasses and a toaster oven. There is a stovetop but no oven- just a pop up toaster and a microwave. The back deck was private and great for eating outside and drying wet suits. The backyard was great- it had a grill and a very high quality umbrella with nice chairs for lying out. The walk to the beach was easy and the roads eas quiet. The boardwalk was close. Once you get to the beach it is a very long walk to the water , but that is true e wry where in Wildwood. We brought bikes and enjoyed the bike lanes and biking in the boardwalk. We would definitely stay here again!"

• Unfortunately, we do not allow late checkout to respect our cleaner's schedules. A fine of 50% of the upcoming night's stay will be imposed for a late checkout between 30 minutes and 2 hours past checkout time. Any checkout beyond 2 hours late will be charged at 2x the upcoming night's stay.

• Kids of all ages are welcome, but we do not supply any infant/toddler/child furniture. You will need to supply your own and please be responsible for all underage children.

• For the security of our guests and the safety of our property, we have 4 external security cameras located at the outside of the building (2 on bottom level , 2 on the second level ).

• HVAC system in each unit is operated by a remote control located in the same unit/room. All remote controls are clearly marked and operational. There is a $200 fee for each lost remote control.

• We do not permit pets on the property. Guests that bring Unauthorized pets will be charged $400 fee.

We are providing 15 min loading area, right in front of the property. We do not have parking lot, but there are several options in the area- parking lots and meter parking.

Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site.

Noise level:
We use smart home technology to improve your experience. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property, and allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. NoiseAware is privacy compliant and is required on this property.

If more than the number of booked occupants are detected by neighbors or outside cameras, the stay will be immediately terminated and no refund will be issued. No cameras inside.

Due to limited storage space, we do not supply paper towels and washcloths. However, we do offer essential amenities such as toilet paper, soap, dish soap, and minis (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) to meet your basic needs during your stay.
Additionally, we provide hand towels, bath towels, and bed linens to ensure your comfort throughout your time with us.

• No more than the number of guests booked ON PREMISE at any time: $200 fine per person detected

• We are not accepting reservations from local residents at this time, we reserve the right to immediately cancel any reservations from local resident

• Quiet hours from 10pm to 8am (50 decibels).

• Primary renter must have valid govt ID, phone number and address on file.

• We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables during your stay. We cannot be responsible for any items left behind. There will be a minimum $100 handling fee for returning requested items to you. Shipping and packaging will be charged at cost. Items will be kept for 5-days. After which time they will be donated at management discretion.

• Unfortunately, we do not allow late checkout to respect our cleaner's schedules. A fine of 50% of the upcoming night's stay will be imposed for a late checkout between 30 minutes and 2 hours past checkout time. Any checkout beyond 2 hours late will be charged at 2x the upcoming night's stay.

• Kids of all ages are welcomed, but we do not supply any infant/toddler/child furniture. You will need to supply your own and please be responsible of all underage children.

• For the security of our guests and the safety of our property, we have 4 external security cameras located at the outside of the building (2 on bottom level , 2 on the second level ).

• HVAC system in each unit is operated by remote control located in the same unit/room. All remote controls are clearly marked and operational. There is a $200 fee for each lost remote control.

• We do not permit pets on the property. Guests that bring Unauthorized pets will be charged $400 fee.
