It was an amazing property, super clean, staff was so nice, and they set up so nicely in the home that I never had to call housekeeping or front desk once! Every house on the property had its own grill and little backyard and everything you would need for the beach, which is right across the street; they had umbrellas, beach chairs, everything!!. Everything you could need. The house itself was beautiful with really really cool early American and modern design! We had four people staying with us and the house never felt crowded. It was super spacious and had two floors, and the bedrooms were huge !! In all the years of me going down to Wildwood for the first time ever I actually felt like I was out of New Jersey and not in Wildwood! It really gave me a Hamptons vibe. The 2bd apt wasn't huge but the beds in each bedroom were comfortable and we even had enough space to eat breakfast together in the well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is very small but if just need a space to shower and get cleaned up it was perfect. The entire apartment was also very very clean when we arrived! I hate to leave a mess so I actually even went and bought a broom to sweep up some of the sand all of the place. Really the only downside was no elevator (we were on the 3rd floor) but who doesn't need a little exercise every now and then. Building was also pretty secure. Passcodes to get onto the respective floors and then another code to get in to the apartment. Parking was a bit tricky, especially since we had to pick up trucks but we were fortunate to find parking right front and also utilized the parking lot just a few minutes on the corner. I don't have any complaints regarding our stay at Garfield Beach House. Affordable, clean, safe, dog friendly and only 2 blocks from the boardwalk. We will definitely be back!
