Lastly, the AC unit was VERY loud anytime it would kick on. Restaraunt hours are not as advertised; The Grove is only for reserved parties & Christopher’s closed their kitchen at 5:30 ON NYE! Pros: Christopher’s Pub = DELICIOUS chicken salad club & fries & pasta salad along with friendly staff. Friendly hotel staff as well. Decent vending machines for drinks & snacks. It felt like home. The room was clean from top to bottom, no complaints. There is also a full kitchen area, with stove, mini fridge,& microwave! This is a motel with so much charm! I can't see spending $145 For a worse location (we are minutes from seaside). Minutes after we settled in, the owner knocked to check that the room was to our satisfaction before he stepped out for dinner; that made our day. This can be considered a no frills hotel/motel; but we decided that we are only staying here when we come back! The value and customer service can't be beat! P.S. we had Reservations for the Hilton in East Brunswick (49 mins away)...but after a long day at seaside, we didn't want to drive. We made this reservation at the last minute, and we were not disappointed."

- "Superb! The hosts,Dave and Erica, are such good people. They were both so kind and helpful and I’m so grateful we found their place. They’ve thought of every detail inside and outside from a hairdryer right down to reusable grocery bags. There’s a Keurig and an assortment of kcups for renters to enjoy and a basket of complimentary snacks along with beverages in the refrigerator. The place is clean and every word written in the description is true. Awesome real arcade game machine which my husband and daughter had a blast playing, the best selection of board games and some nostalgic toys that had me feeling like a kid in a candy store. The Wi-Fi is really good, the water pressure from the shower is top notch and the tile work in the bathroom is beautiful. Granite countertops, nice new waterproof floors, plush carpet in the bedrooms, cozy beds. Everything is included (bedding, towels, beach chairs, sand toys you name it! The view is gorgeous, we admired all the beautiful waterfront properties. The neighborhood was safe and perfect for walking our dogs. The set up in the back in unlike any other! There is a little beach with the softest sand I’ve ever felt, a massive hot tub, lounge chairs, a kayak, paddle boat, inflatables galore. The kids loved it! My husband and daughter were jumping off the dock as soon as we got there. Perfect location! Close to a ton of playgrounds, the boardwalk, shops, restaurants but still far enough away that you don’t hear all the noise. 5 stars!"

This home has been totally renovated. The home has 2 bedrooms. One room has a king bed and the other has 2 twin beds. Upon request the twin beds can be converted to a king bed. The home has a comfy cozy clean feeling with everything being new. There is plenty to do and see and restarants in walking distance. We try and provide our home with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. We also have beach chairs, and an umbrella for you to use. The home also comes with 3 beach badges. The home has heat and central air condition. There is an outside area in our covered porch to relax and grill out using our propane grill after an afternoon at the beach - its perfect! The home also comes with linens on the beds and towels for your use. come enjoy why we love it here!

- "House was perfect, cute, decorated beachy, it was clean and comfortable, and the outdoor seating area was just great! Easy walk to the beach (looks longer than it actually is). We walked every day to beach with lots of chairs/umbrella, back home, went back out at night and back again. The street leads right to Beachcomber, literally a straight walk up. You literally need to bring nothing (there was plenty of towels, linens, cleaning stuff, cups, plates, blow dryer, garbage bags, dishwashing detergent, plenty of beach chairs and umbrella). Literally the only 2 things that came up during our stay was there was no mirror in the 2nd bedroom (master bedroom had 3 large mirrors) so they had to alternate running back and forth to the bathroom mirror to get ready. Oh, and if you're 5'8" or taller you'll have a nice view of the neighbors deck when you take a shower (or they, you from the neck up!). The bathroom window needs blinds or a curtain for the tall people. Loved this place and will rent again!"

Seaside Heights has so much to offer with amusement park rides, arcades, mini golf, go carts, boat and wave runner rentals. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils, pots, pans, dishes, glasses etc. so that you can cook inside. Outside, there is a private front patio as well as a shared rear patio area with gas barbecue grill and tables for enjoying a meal alfresco.
If you are traveling with friends or family, we have an additional three-bedroom unit and a one-bedroom unit available onsite (a separate rear house). These units are also available for rental. Please contact us for more information. We look forward to hearing from you!

This is a 2 room apt. at the rear of our beachfront home in the small town of OCEAN GATE. Good for 2 mature adults. Full kitchen, queen size bed. Smart T.V. Includes inside and outside hot water shower and shaded beachfront patio area with tables and nat. gas grill. Two kayaks that can be launched right from the beach. As little as 40 feet to the water from the patio area. One on property parking spot next to your private entrance. Beach badges included.
Patio area not shared with other renters. Just occasionally the grill with the owners.
Many towns like ours have minimum stays to cut down on short stays where large weekend parties happen. Our town has a 7 night minimum stay.
With that minimum limit we want reservations in multiples of 7 days from Saturday to Saturday. We don't want to be left with a period between bookings of less than 7 days because we will not be able to rent that shorten period because of the 7 day minimum.
All initial booking payments must be through VRBO. They require a credit card for both your protection and ours. Do not offer to send a company check.
We receive a fair number of spam requests. They seem to be computer generated with random dates and ignore our Saturday checkin. They also don’t say anything about themselves or ask questions.

Only one block from the water, set high on the Island Heights bluff, this original “L-Style” Victorian historic camp meeting cottage was built in 1883. It stands today as one of the only original camp meeting cottages left in Island Heights with very few architectural modifications. This home was featured in the NJ Star Ledger for it’s restoration, and is truly a one-of-a-kind gem.

Restored to its former glory, this two-story cottage has new and modern upgrades, but retains all of its original charm. It including original pine paneling, stained-glass windows, custom builtins, board and batten siding, winding staircase, and hardwood floors. The beach house offers two cozy bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished for your comfort. The rooms have storage space for your belongings and fresh linens will be provided.

A clean and well-appointed bathroom with a shower/tub combination completes the interior of the beach house. We provide towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer for your convenience.

Guests who reserve this space will have access to the front house of the property only. There is a common outdoor space in the back that includes the fire pit, Adirondack chairs and grill that is shared between both units.

Me, husband, 24 yr old daughter and almost 2 yr old pup spent a relaxing few days. Very clean. Amenities were perfect. All we needed to purchase was food and beverages or eat out. We did not use the BBQ but our neighbor’s did and it was new and clean. We enjoyed the fire pit one night as well. Overall, an excellent place to stay. 5 minute walk to beach is a pleasant walk. We walked everywhere during our stay. Only caution is parking could be challenging during the weekend if looking for free parking, but this is no reflection on the property. Just the business of a vacation destination. Highly recommend this property."

As you step into our beach house, you’ll be greeted by a thoughtfully designed, Amalfi Coast inspired apartment. With an open concept kitchen and living room, it is the perfect place to gather and relax after a day in the sun.

The beach house offers two cozy bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished for your comfort. The master bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed, while the second bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed, ideal for families or groups. The 304 Webster Ave house is a two family house that has 5 bedrooms and 3 baths and can sleep up to 18 across both apartments. The 2nd floor apartment sleeps 10. Close to beach and Bay. All conveniences including, central air conditioning, flat screen TVs, WIFI, laundry room on property with several washers/dryers, natural gas grills so never have to worry about propane tanks running out, deck and paver patio, and off-street parking. We also provide Seasonal Beach badges with all our properties (10 badges for your use. A $130/day value. Close to Boardwalk and Amusements, Island Beach State Park, and one hour from Atlantic City. Great family place.

The 2nd floor apartment in the 304 Webster house has two bedrooms and one bath, and can sleep up to 10 people with three additional pull out couches. This apartment has an elevated deck in the back of the house off the kitchen. It has a large eat in kitchen which was just redone in the spring of 2025, two bedrooms each with a a queen sized bed giving you sleeping for 4 in the bedrooms. It has a large living room that has two queen sized pull out couches(one on each end of the living room that open up towards each other with plenty of room between them) that can sleep 4 more people. It also has an enclosed sun porch room across the entire front of the house. The sun porch has windows on three sides has ceramic tile floor, and on the far end of the room has a futon pullout sofa bed, which gives you sleeping for two more and total sleeping for up to 10 people. This apartment also has 1 tile bath with a tub and shower. The apartment has central AC, Flat screen TV, Wifi, ceiling fans in the kitchen, living room, and in each bedroom, off street parking, paver patio with table and chairs, gas grill, access to washer/dryer facilities on the property, and outside sand shower.

As you step into our beach house, you’ll be greeted by a thoughtfully designed, Amalfi Coast inspired apartment. With an open concept kitchen and living room, it is the perfect place to gather and relax after a day in the sun.

The beach house offers two cozy bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished for your comfort. The master bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed, while the second bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed, ideal for families or groups. The rooms have storage space for your belongings and fresh linens will be provided.

A clean and well-appointed bathroom with a shower/tub combination completes the interior of the beach house. We provide towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer for your convenience.

Guests who reserve this space will have access to the front house of the property only. There is a common outdoor space in the back that includes the fire pit, Adirondack chairs and grill that is shared between both units.

During your stay, my team and I will be available to answer any questions you may have about the house. I am also happy to recommend local activities and dining options.

Due to the layout of this unit, the HVAC fan is located in a utility closet in the hallway. When running, it can be noisy at times. Please keep this in mind when booking.

No parties or gatherings. The occupancy limit set forth in this listing may not be exceeded at any time.

The minimum age to book is 24 years old and the primary guest completing the reservation must remain for the duration of the stay. Photo ID for age verification purposes may be requested prior to, or at the time of check-in.

Restored to its former glory, this two-story, 900 square ft cottage, has new and modern upgrades, but retains all of its original charm. Including original pine floors, stained-glass windows, board and batten siding, and original staircase. Enjoy the river breezes from the the wrap-around porch, take a walk down to the promenade to watch the sailboats go by and see our famous Island Heights sunsets. Across the street, is the historic camp meeting grounds, which is now a park with a pavilion, perfect for playing a game of frisbee, a picnic or watching the sailboats go by.

THE SPACE:

The vaulted kitchen includes all stainless steel appliances: microwave, stove/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, Keurig, tea kettle, and plenty of cooking utensils for a night in.

There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, the master bedroom includes a queen-size bed with a larger bi-fold closet and a TV.

The second bedroom features a full-size bed, dresser and a closet.

The bathroom (downstairs) features a 1940’s style bathtub/shower, with black and white retro-tile.

We also offer Netflix and Amazon Prime!

We provide clean towels and sheets so you don't need to bring any :)

This little farmhouse Indie gem will allow you to step back in time. Historic and lovingly furnished, this home is also eco friendly and peaceful. The Borough of Island Heights is a quiet enclave off the beaten path and home to sailing enthusiasts. Right now, there are restrictions in town related to COVID which excludes short term rentals. We are within walking distance to the bay and boardwalk in town. The bridge to seaside heights is 5 minutes away as well. Island heights is a very historic town with sailing and recreation as it’s fine points. The home is older and charming and the entire space is open to my guests.
