This adorable beach cottage was recently totally renovated! All NEW- kitchen, floors, furniture, and freshly painted. We have designed this home for our family, so we made the decisions for our renovations with high end choices in mind. The home has 2 bedrooms, one queen and one with a twin and bunk bed. The home sleeps 5 very comfortably and has plenty of storage. There is a full-sized bathroom with tub. The kitchen is very well equipped with serving for 12, full sized appliances, and granite countertops. A kitchen table that seats 6. A full size front loading washer and dryer is located in the home as well. There is a side deck with lots of seating to enjoy dinner outside, a natural gas grill, and an enclosed outside shower. Our home also has central air conditioning and baseboard heating.

Bed Linens, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs, and a wagon and beach toys are included for your convenience.

A short walk in either direction is the Monterey Beach Ocean and the Monterey Beach Bay Park. The ocean is very family friendly and protected by lifeguards during the summer season. It is a private beach to our community and a badge will be required and will be provided to you and your guests ( This is a $90 fee that I have already included in your rental cost). 8 badges will be available to you during your stay. Depending on which week you are here, there may even be some family festivities planned by our community.

The bay beach is a great way to spend the early morning and evening hours with the children or when the beach is a little too cold- it may be just right at the bay. We have swings, a jungle gym, and places to explore looking for fish and crabs. Bike riding the Bay Blvd in Lavallette and the ocean boardwalk before 10am is also a great activity. We have some local restaurants, bakeries, surf shops, and ice cream palors all within walking distance. You can also take a quick bike or car ride into Lavallette to explore even more.

Other attractions and areas that you can enjoy by a 10-15 min car ride is the Point Pleasant Boardwalk and Rides, Jenkinsons Aquarium, Chadwick Miniature Golf, Seaside Boardwalk and Rides, Breakwater Beach Water Park, Barnacle Bills Arcade, and Island Beach State Park.

- "This clean cozy cottage was just right for our family of 4, and just as pictured. Easy walk to the beach, and within walking distance to the center of Lavallette. Nice little deck in the back with a surprising breeze to relax on after the beach. My husband and I stayed here with our two kids (3 and 4) for a week. The owners clearly put a lot of thought and love into the home. Each area is decorated beautifully with beach-themed decor, there were plenty of plates/glasses/pots/serving utensils in the kitchen, there were extra blankets and pillows. The AC worked great, the shower stayed hot through multiple people using it, and there was a washing machine (no dryer but there were hanging lines outside for drying items) The house is a very short walk to the private (!) beach. We had a double stroller, two little ones, and all the beach stuff, and it was still only a 5 minute walk! There are boogie boards, sand toys, an umbrella, and beach chairs provided to use. The only things I would love to see added are one of those beach carts to haul everything and a beach blanket. We had a wonderful family vacation here, it was everything we hoped for and more — we will definitely be back!"

Any cleaning required or damage incurred as a result of a guest stay may result in the guest having to pay for said cleaning/damage. Guests to supply own sheets, blankets, pillows, pillowcases and towels. Beach rental flag (which allows you to stay on the private beach) costs approximately $200 per week along with a refundable $25 security deposit. The beach rental flag can be obtained from the Seacrest Beach lifeguards. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OR PETS ALLOWED!

As a renter, you’ll be considered a temporary member, giving you access to all club facilities.

Beach Badge Requirements:
Renters must purchase a pack of 8 weekly badges for $175; additional badges are $40 each.

Daily wristbands are available for $20 and can be purchased from badge checkers at the beach walkways.

Weekly badges can be ordered in advance by downloading the Beach Badge Application from the Ocean Beach 3 administration office, also available at 3305 Heron Lane, Lavallette, NJ.

Property Features:
Climate Control: Sensibo devices are connected to the A/C and heater mini splits to monitor air quality and adjust temperature when the cottage is vacant. Please use the wall-mounted remote controls for your preferred settings.
Security Features: For your safety, the property has a Ring doorbell at the front entrance and a Ring spotlight camera on the back patio. Motion alerts are turned off during your stay. No devices are located in private, sleeping, or concealed spaces, as per local laws.
Please remember this is a transient rental—a relaxing escape without a permanent residency arrangement.

There is one camera for the entire premise that faces the step/entrance. You will love the sounds of the bay in the morning. You can surely find peace and tranquility. We are a 5 minute walk from the private beach, and with a 10 minute drive south you will reach seaside boardwalk where you can enjoy games, rides and nightlife. If you travel 10 minutes north, you will reach point pleasant boardwalk. There you will find games and rides as well.

The space
There is a Queen Bed in the main bedroom, a Twin/Full bunk with twin trundle in bedroom 2.

The couch in the living room pulls out to a bed and there is an automatic inflatable Queen mattress in the loft.

There is a shower outside, a BBQ, a 6 seat patio table with umbrella, and two cars and park/fit in the driveway. No parking at the beach, but it's a 3 minute walk.

You can easily two cars but if you pull all the way up you can squeeze three in.

Towels and bed linens are provided.

Guest access
You can walk (suggested since there is no parking there) to the beach and bay, and even walkable to WAWA (a few blocks) for quick staples.

The street where the house is on is not a "cut through" street so it bears VERY light traffic. You can enter from both 35N and 35S to access the street.

Guests will be given an access code to the door (electronic lock).

Other things to note
Basic hand soap will be provided, but NO shower soaps or dish soaps/dishwasher soaps will be supplied. Some guests however, may leave some behind.

This adorable beach cottage was recently renovated. Only a 5 min walk to the beach or bay! Great side deck for relaxing and grilling out. Central Air! Linens and Towels Included along with the 8 beach badges ($90)! Beach cart and chairs too! Walking distance to bakeries, restaurants, bagel shop, ice cream and Ocean Hut surf store. Great Location! The space
The home has 2 bedrooms, one queen and, the other has 3 twin (one with a twin and bunk bed). The home sleeps 5 very comfortably and has plenty of storage. There is a full-sized bathroom with tub. The kitchen is very well equipped with serving for 12, full sized appliances, and granite countertops. A kitchen table that seats 6. A full size front loading washer and dryer is located in the home as well. There is a side deck with lots of seating to enjoy dinner outside, a natural gas grill, and an enclosed outside shower. Our home also has central air conditioning and baseboard heating.

Bed Linens, bath towels, beach chairs, and a wagon and beach toys are included for your convenience.

A short walk in either direction is the Monterey Beach Ocean and the Monterey Beach Bay Park. The ocean is very family friendly and protected by lifeguards during the summer season. It is a private beach to our community and a badge will be required and will be provided to you and your guests ( This is a $90 fee that I have already included in your rental cost). 8 badges will be available to you during your stay. Depending on which week you are here, there may even be some family festivities planned by our community.

The bay beach is a great way to spend the early morning and evening hours with the children or when the beach is a little too cold- it may be just right at the bay. We have swings, a jungle gym, and places to explore looking for fish and crabs. Bike riding the Bay Blvd in Lavallette and the ocean boardwalk before 10am is also a great activity. We have some local restaurants, bakeries, surf shops, and ice cream palors all within walking distance. You can also take a quick bike or car ride into Lavallette to explore even more.

Other attractions and areas that you can enjoy by a 10-15 min car ride is the Point Pleasant Boardwalk and Rides, Jenkinsons Aquarium, Chadwick Miniature Golf, Seaside Boardwalk and Rides, Breakwater Beach Water Park, Barnacle Bills Arcade, and Island Beach State Park.

The rooms are also very spacious so you will not feel cramped during your stay. 2 parking spaces are directly in front of the condo and there is ample street parking for your guests.

Located on private beach community, our bungalow offers the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. Just steps away from the sandy shores, you can enjoy morning walks on the beach, afternoon swims in the ocean, and evening sunsets. The neighborhood is friendly and welcoming, with local cafes, seafood restaurants, and quaint shops all within walking distance. This spacious 4-bedroom, 2-bath home sleeps 8, with 2 levels of living, plenty of natural light, central AC, and heat for year-round comfort. Relax with an outdoor shower, washer/dryer, and closets in every room. Walk to ice cream shops, local activities, and the bay beach. A short ride takes you to Seaside Heights and Point Pleasant boardwalks.

The space
Welcome to our cozy and spacious two-story single-family home!

As you arrive, you'll take just four steps to reach the front door. Once inside, you'll be greeted by a staircase leading to the second floor. To your left, you'll step into the open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area—perfect for gathering and relaxing.

First Floor:

A bedroom with a full-size bed and a closet (note: no TV in this room).
A full bathroom with a walk-in shower (no tub).
A comfortable living area with one TV for your entertainment.

Second Floor:

A wide hallway leads to three additional bedrooms, a full bathroom, and the laundry room.
The full bathroom upstairs includes a shower/tub combination.
Bedroom Details:
Two bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, their own closets, and a TV.
The third bedroom features a bunk bed (twin on top, full on the bottom) and a closet for storage.
The main bedroom includes a crib and a queen air mattress, stored in the closet for your convenience.
The laundry closet on the second floor is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer for your use.

This house has plenty of windows to allow plenty of natural light, open the windows and feel, smell and endure the ocean air. Each room has ceiling fans. If you prefer HVAC is available as well to keep the house temp control as you desire. The main bedroom has cathedral ceilings. The 2nd floor bathroom has cathedral ceiling with a skylight.

Outdoor you will find an enclosed out door shower with hot and cold water. Propane gas BBQ grill, beach chairs outdoor table and chairs to enjoy the breezy mornings and evenings. Exterior lighting. Boogie boards for surfing the waves too! Wet suits are provided as well in all sizes.

This thoughtfully designed home has everything you need for a comfortable stay, whether you're here to relax, explore, or create lasting memories.

You will have access to the entire home, except a locked closet in the main bedroom. But there is a huge closet you are allowed to use when staying. There is interent access but no cable TV, so bring your streaming devices or use the smart TV to access your apps.

The streets are lined with sand for your shore bungalow experience. When you stay here you are truly staying at the shore with the sand at your doorstep. This is walkable to the beach (minutes away), restaurants and ice cream! You have the beach on one side and the bay on the other! This is section 3 in ocean. Perfect family vacation house equipped with everything
This house could not be better for our family vacation. The listing is accurate and the house actually feels much bigger than the pictures show. It really has everything you need from beach essentials (badges, chairs, umbrella, etc) to a fully outfitted kitchen which was perfect for our group. The owner was extremely communicative leading up to our trip and also checked in on us throughout; he also let us know as soon as we were able to check in early. Overall the location, newly renovated interior, and thoughtfulness of amenities/setup made this a house our family will definitely be returning to and would recommend to anyone else.

"This house was clean, new, updated, and high quality. It had everything you could possibly need and all of it was in great shape. The beach was a five minute walk away, and very much less crowded than neighboring beaches. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house had enough space that we could all have a little privacy. The owner was friendly, helpful, and responsive. The location was terrific, too. Bagels and bakery and ice cream within an easy walk; and the bustling part of Lavallette a three minute drive. I have stayed in many beach houses at the Jersey shore and I have to say, this one is at the top of the list. It was so refreshing to stay in a place where all the details were thought of—from the big to the little. I would love to stay here again. Five huge stars!!!!"
