Welcome to The Getsinger's Guest House.
Simple accommodations in a 102 year old Guest House, built by my grandparents. You will have a private room on the third floor so steps are included in your stay!
There are shared baths-1 full bath and 2 half baths with an additional outside shower
The house has a relaxing front porch to people watch from above. Parking included for 1 car, a 2nd can pay a guest rate of $20/day.
Steps to the beach and boardwalk make everything close by! Must be 21 or older!

The space
A guest house built by my grandparents in 1922, there are 6 bedrooms on the third floor with shared baths, a community fridge and microwave. An outside shower is in the side yard.
There are two apartments on the first floor that are weekly rentals and the family lives on the second floor.
There are two front porches, a smaller side porch and back porch for relaxing.
We are third generation Inn Keepers here at our guest house. We hope you enjoy your stay!

Guest access
You are welcome to enjoy any of the porches and use the common room with a fridge, microwave, and a supply of board games.

Other things to note
Our house is central to Wildwood and all that it offers! Many bars and restaurants are within walking distance. There is a trolley that moves around the town, as well.

The space
Decorated with original artwork by a local artist, this cozy, bright 3rd floor room accommodates two people with an antique double brass bed and flat screen TV. Its extra large detached private bath has a claw-foot tub with brass shower fixtures and an antique marble sink. The contrast of a luxurious candle-lit bath and the snugly comfort of the sleeping area make this accommodation particularly unique. French doors provide access to a beautiful outdoor deck .

The Surf Shack is an efficiency suite on the back of my house. It is a quiet and relaxing place with its own entrance. There is a King-Size Bed with a great split mattress with adjustable head and feet. Each side can be adjusted separately.
It's a great place to crash after a day at the beach and a night on the boardwalk. Please keep in mind there is no space to use outside except to come and go. There is no stove but there is a refrigerator, microwave and a coffee maker.

The space
The Surf Shack is a 1 room Suite with a bathroom located at the rear of my property. It is ideal for 1 or 2 people to use. There is a wonderful king-sized bed with remote controls to allow for individual comfort. The mattress is memory foam and are very comfortable.

There is a nice television connected to wi-fi ready for you to log into whatever streaming services you like.

There is a built in mini split air conditioner that keeps the room very comfortable. Keep in mind if the windows are open, the air should be off, if not, the amount of condensation in the room will be very high.

The bathroom has an extra-large sink to accommodate cleaning coffee cups or any bathing suits you have.

WiFi service available.

Guest access
Currently the unit has a key lock and you will need to speak to me to meet up for the key. I expect to have the new keypad installed by 5-20-2025. I will post the code to you the morning of check-in.

You would access the unit by going through the side yard of 222. The path is paved and level. Up 4 steps to the blue door. There is an area near the entrance to wash sandy feet prior to entering the unit.

Other things to note
I do have dogs. They occupy another unit on the property. Do not bring any pets onto the property, they will not interact well.

Due to an insurance restriction, we cannot allow people under the age of 25 to book. Parents, please do not book for your kids.

Walking distance to great restaurants and bars. If you love the water, this is your place for the summer. Nightly or weekly rentals available. Must be at least 25 years of age to rent.
