And... when we left later that morning, we realized we had left jewelry behind, and when we called, they actually found it, and mailed it to us, so they were very honest too, which I appreciated. We have left behind things in other hotels and "no one saw anything", so we really appreciated that. They have sherry & port for sampling/tasting all evening, and have a nice tea time around 4 pm, with coffee, tea, and cookies. We really enjoyed our 2 nights, and will be back again. Walking distance to shopping (washington mall?), a number of restaurants, and we walked down to the beach/boardwalk, probably about 10 minutes away as well. Saturday afternoon we ended up walking into Carney's, across from the water, and stayed for hours due to happy hour specials & had a great time, for less :-) Live music, $5 crushes, mistakes may have been made. WILDWOOD BOARDWALK: Starting in May open Friday evenings 6-10pm and Saturday/Sunday afternoons/evenings 1-10pm. On June 1st through Labor Day open daily 1-10pm. After Labor Day, open Friday evenings 6-10pm, Saturday afternoons/evenings 1-10pm, and Sunday 1pm to 6 or 10pm until October 31st.

WATER PARKS: Starting June 1st the Raging Waters/Mariners Pier/Schellenger Avenue opens on Saturdays/Sundays 10am-5pm, then starting June 15ish this water park and the Ocean Oasis/Surfside Pier/26th Avenue are open daily 10am-5pm. The Splash Zone/Mariner's Pier/Schellenger Avenue opens 10am-5:30pm daily June 22ish through Labor Day. The Water Parks close after Labor Day and some may stay open a few more days if we have great weather.

WILDWOOD BEACHES: Wildwood, Wildwood Crest, and North Wildwood Beaches do not charge.

WILDWOOD PARKING: The majority of Wildwood has free street parking with meters located along Pacific Avenue on the east side up to Ocean Avenue. The meters are active 8:00am to 3:00am every day from May 15th to October 31st, including Holidays; meters take quarters or Park Mobile App. Other major streets have parking via Park Mobile; Wildwood also has private parking lots for $10-$20/day.

CAPE MAY BEACH: Beach Tags are required for ages 12 and above from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Beach Tags run (per person) 1 day for $10, 3 days for $20, 1 week for $25. Tags can be purchased at the south entrance Hut at the foot of Broadway Avenue, at the north entrance Hut near the Convention Center (the huge Building on the beach) or set up on the beach and obtain them from Tag Checkers that roam the beach. Military Veterans are free with ID. Children age 11 and under are free.

CAPE MAY PARKING: From 4/1 to 11/31, 10am to 10pm, parking meters are 25¢ (quarters) per 10 minutes and also accept payments via the Park Mobile App ($1.50/hour). Beach Avenue parking meters are only on the beach side; the business side only accepts Park Mobile. The Cape May Washington Street Mall perimeter only accepts Park Mobile ($2/hour) from 4/1 to 12/31, 10am to 10pm. Parking lots have Kiosk machines that give tickets to place on your dash (must be visible from your windshield); machines take quarters, cash, credit/debit cards, or accepts Park Mobile (no ticket in window required when using the App). The parking lots may stop charging from 1/01 to 3/31 but check the kiosks for an indication on this.

ABOUT US:
LOCATION: Rural area Erma NJ (Cape May zip code) 4.5 miles north of Cape May (residential/no beach views), 6.5 miles west of Wildwood, and 11 miles south of the Cape May County Zoo. We are in a peaceful alcove between our property and 2 adjacent neighbors’ properties where we have a small chicken coop; there are expansive woods behind us. We are in a centralized position in a rural area that offers easy access to daily needs shopping within 2.5-3.0 miles. We have easy access to a 15-mile biking/walking path and have a lockable Shed with Beach Gear where you can store up to 6 Bikes. There are nature trails around the Light House if you have those interests. We offer early drop off/beach gear pick up after 10am.

CAPACITY: Needs to be equivalent to 5 adults; appropriate variations will be accepted. Extra person fees of $40/person/day may apply for any undeclared guest OR if occupancy is more equivalent to 6 or 7 adults due to overcrowding for the space. Can sleep 7 adults, 2 on queen bed, 2 on full bed; the remaining 3 sleeping spaces are more appropriate for teens or small adults, 2 on the sofa sleeper bed, and 1 on the rollaway bed.

RENTAL DURATION: The cottage may be rented for a minimum of 2 days up to 13 days; exceptions for longer stays might be accepted for repeat customers or based on great reviews.

BIKE STORAGE SHED: A key is provided for locking the door on the end of the shed that faces the cottage; could fit up to 6 variable-sized bicycles.

BEACH GEAR Inside the Storage Shed: A cart, four (4) beach chairs, two (2) umbrellas/anchors, a 16-foot wind/shade beach fence, various sizes soft and hard-shelled coolers, round beach blanket (provided year-round), 5 beach towels (provided in warmer weather), 2 young and 2 older children's sizes of boogie boards (adults could use the larger ones), sand toys, and yard toys.

TV's & INTERNET: Roku TV with 400 mbps WiFi available streaming at an average of 335mbps, and an ethernet connection cable in the top chest drawer in the middle bedroom. There is a Hulu no-ads subscription provided on the Hulu App, already logged in. For the Live TV Guide App (Roku) there is a printed Roku TV Topical Directory by subject matter (crime, home improvement, romance movies, etc.) in the tray on the living room ottoman to aide in watching your favorite types of shows. The Roku App has great shortcut categories and you can search for what you want; you could look up the old show "Bewitched" and watch every season from the 1st show!!!)

BEDS: 1 queen, 1 full, 1 full sofa sleeper, and 1 roll-away bed in a closet; sanitized bed linens/pillows are provided, and beds are made and ready; extra sanitized blankets and pillows are in the bedroom closets in zipped bags.

All bed mattresses and pillows are protected with waterproof covers and prepared with extra padding/fabrics to provide an extra comfort barrier above those barriers; all materials above the waterproof protectors are laundered after every guest. Do not hesitate to ask to exchange your bedding or towels for clean ones due to accidents or due to your needs.

BATHROOM: Bathroom with handicap-accessible tub/shower with a fixed shower head and a hand-held shower wand. A slip-proof bathtub mat and extra suction grip safety handle are under the bathroom sink. An extra holder for the hand-held shower wand and a handicap Shower Chair are available on request. No waiting for showers, hot water is on demand (not a tank).

Bathroom has a vanity, stool, hair dryer, light, mirrors, full-size mirror, sanitized towels / hand towels / wash cloths in clear storage containers under the bathroom sink.

Personal items, bath wash / bar soaps / shampoos / conditioners and a nice assortment of personal care items for “things forgotten” such as clippers, nail files, Advil, first aid items, deodorants, toothbrushes, mouth wash, razors, hair spray, baby wash, and feminine products are accessible at no charge.

A hamper for towels and versatile clothes drying rack is in the bathroom.

GENERAL SETUP INFO: 3 Roku Smart TVs with Hulu (no ads); Chair, full-size Sleeper Sofa, Corner Basket Table contains a bagged / sanitized comforter for the sofa's sleeper; Ottoman with Lift-Top Table with games inside (Aggravation, Farkle, Guess Who, Parchese, Risk, Sorry, Star Wars Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Uno, Upwords, Yatzi, Playing Cards, and a fun cup of big dice); Island with two (2) Stools, Bar with two (2) Stools, Patio Table with four (4) Chairs (extra chairs provided as needed); pail of sand on patio for smoking. The bedroom Desk Chair, bathroom Vanity Stool, and living room and bedroom Ottomans can be used in the great room for extra seating. A foldable stool is beside the refrigerator, and a wooden stool is beside the queen bed--these items could be used as seating for young children at the ottoman for games or eating.

STORAGE / TABLES / CHARGERS: A Storage Chest is in each bedroom and a large folding/portable Table is in each bedroom for multipurpose use (luggage stand / bedside table / portable desk / snack table / miscellaneous). The middle bedroom has a completely collapsible Desk (lift the top off and the frame will fold flat against the wall) to make room for the Rollaway Bed. USB Chargers are in each bedroom and in the kitchen, and four (4) types of phone/tablet USB Cables ans an Ethernet Cable to connect directly to the internet modem are in the Storage Chest’s top drawer in the middle bedroom (please leave them here for other guests to use).

CLOSETS: Clothes hampers (with removable liners so you can grab and go with your used clothing)--NO WASHER/DRYER, hangers, bagged/sanitized blankets and extra pillows. An iron with distilled water and an ironing board are in the middle bedroom closet along with a rollaway bed. The front bedroom closet also contains a vacuum.

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD: Rural neighborhood. Double-wide driveway. A 15-mile bike/walking path is within walking distance, and it travels all the way to the botanical Cape May County Zoo (free/donations graciously accepted). Southward it ends at Sandman Boulevard (the road that leads to the Cape May/Delaware Ferry). Consider downloading a Trail Link App and search for "Cold Spring" or "Lower Township" or "Middle Township" with "Bike Path".

YOUR COTTAGE: Cottage B is the 2nd green cottage on the right-hand side at the back of the double-wide driveway. The Host lives in the 2-story white house on the left-hand side of the driveway.

Located in Erma (Cape May zip code) 4.5 miles north of Cape May's beach, north of the canal that isolates Cape May as an island. We are 11 miles south of the Cape May County Zoo, and 6.5 miles west of the Wildwood Board Walk and beaches. We are very near an access point to the 15-mile-long Cold Spring Bike Path that spans from the Cape May County Zoo to Sandman Boulevard (the road that connects to the Cape May/Lewes Ferry). Biking into Cape May from here is not recommended during the summer due to narrow roads and heavy traffic, especially if attempting with children. Avid bikers as "couples" could do it, but with great caution where the road narrows in West Cape May.

Other things to note
Two (2) parking spaces are available on our property directly in front of the Cottage you rented on the right-hand side of our double-wide driveway; a 3rd car could be accommodated in a less mobile area on the property. The road curves very slightly and can be hazardous when departing the property. We advise watching for bikers on the shoulder of the road when departing, and for cars that may inappropriately try to pass on the shoulder or across the double line, and we advise backing out onto the shoulder of the road before entering the highway and leaving the property.

Located on our second floor is the Pet Welcome Green Room IV featuring a queen sized bed, private bath, kitchenette & television.
The Green Room also has access to the second floor front and back porches.

Beautiful cottage/tiny house with sleeping loft in the heart of West Cape May. Easy walk / bike ride to center of town, 10 minute walk to the beaches. Many great restaurants and markets nearby.

The space
This unit is located in the back corner of a property with a main three bedroom house. You have a private walkway, entrance and small sitting area outside. This unit is completely separate from the main house.

Inside the unit is a full bathroom with tiled shower, fully equipped kitchen, open living space with sofa bed, small dining table, and a sleeping loft with a queen bed accessed by a ladder. Guests should be physically able to climb safely up and down the loft ladder. Please use caution. **Not suitable for young children ages 2-7 because of height of ladder/loft.

There is a 49 inch Roku TV with a HULU subscription included. WiFi is also provided.

A link to set up the sofa bed can be provided upon request.

Guest access
There is one off-street parking space available in a shared driveway. Please park to the right in the stone driveway ... the pathway to the cottage will be in front of you. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the beaches and downtown, or a quick 5 minute bike ride!

BED SHEETS and bath TOWELS are NOT included. The bed is a queen size mattress. Pillows and blankets ARE provided.

All guests must be included on the reservation and the reservation must accurately reflect the correct guest count. (i.e. do not make a reservation for one guest and arrive with four). ONLY guests who are included on the reservation are allowed on property.

The Primrose is a lovely quiet room that overlooks the backyard, vegetable gardens and our parking. It has a queen bed, private bath with shower, flat­-screen television, seasonal electric fireplace, Wi-­Fi and individually controlled heat and air conditioning. The décor is white wicker with an armoire and vanity.

The Morning Glory has a queen size bed with private bath and a very spacious tiled shower, a 32” flat­-screen HD television, seasonal electric fireplace, an in-room refrigerator, a rocking chair, Wi-­Fi and ductless heat and air conditioning. The room is decorated in Henry Link designer beige wicker and has a floor lamp and 2 Tiffany­-style table­-top lamps to provide excellent lighting for reading. It is convenient to our Hospitality Room.

The space
Seafood is our life! This classy, nautical guesthouse shares our life by the sea. Brady is a commercial scallop captain and you'll find mementos from his fishing trips throughout.

Our cottage is very centrally located to all that Cape May County had to offer. Within walking distance of both Cape May Winery and Nauti Spirits Distillery.

The Scallop Shack is a two level guest house. The living room (pull-out sofa bed) and dining room is on the first floor (washer and dryer included). The fully stocked kitchen, main bedroom (queen size bed and twin size daybed), and bathroom (standup shower, toilet, sink) is on the second floor. There are plenty of games and puzzles in the dining room for rainy days, along with a smart TV (Roku) to log in to all your favorite streaming service (no cable provided). WIFI is available throughout the guesthouse.

Small, private patio space in the backyard. Including propane grill. Watch our chickens in the back yard "scratch". Please note that the front section of the yard surrounding the main house is private and reserved for owners.

Our two dogs Cutter and Crew live on the property, they love to say hello!

We provide all the necessities including towels, sheets, hand soap, and cleaning supplies for spills. You may find other odds and ends to make your stay more comfortable.

Toilet paper and paper towels provided for the first 1-3 days of the trip (depending on your usage).

Please remember to pack your shampoo, conditioner and body wash, all cooking ingredients for your stay and extra toilet paper/ paper towels. Please bring laundry detergent if you plan to use the washer/dryer.

Owners live on premises and have two friendly pups: Cutter (Labrador) and Crew (Labradoodle). You may see them from time to time in the yard during your stay. Please let us know if there anyone in your group that is not dog friendly and we will make accommodations.

Beautiful nature preserve property. You have your own private guesthouse, which is a separate building from the main house on the property. Guesthouse is up one flight of stairs; private balcony with hammock, table and chairs. You can see the sunset from the balcony. There is also a ping pong table downstairs in the garage.

Guest House in tranquil West Cape May. Close to dining, shopping and beaches. The Guest House is situated behind the owner’s home on a large double lot. Three Queen bedrooms and three baths. Small dining table inside, and large dining table on outdoor patio. Newer Smart TV in living room. Second TV in a 2nd-floor bedroom for a USB streaming device.

Owners live in the front house and are happy to provide recommendations on area attractions and dining.

This restored cottage sits on the grounds of The Historic Chalfonte Hotel and was completely renovated in 2018! The original cottage dates back to 1850 but you will find brand new plumbing, electrical, floors, windows, bathrooms, appliances and furniture. We took great care to preserve the historical integrity of the building while adding top of the line modern comforts.

The space
The first floor features one bedroom with a Queen Sized Bed, one bathroom, a living room with a sleeper sofa and kitchen.

The second floor is a studio living room/bedroom with a King Bed and a twin bed. You will also find a small kitchenette, additional bathroom and a large deck on this level.

Guest access
The common areas of the hotel are accessible to guests of the cottage. Our large wrap around verandas are the perfect spot to read and relax. The Magnolia Room Restaurant, featuring southern style cuisine for breakfast and dinner and The King Edward Bar, offering cocktails and live music are open daily in season. Outdoor showers are also available for rinsing off after a day at the beach.

Other things to note
The Chalfonte was built in 1876 by Colonel Henry Sawyer. It is the oldest continuously operating hotel in Cape May.

Newly renovated house with 6 bedroom and 5.5 bathrooms. This beautiful house is 1 block from the beach with ocean views. It is also located in the heart of historic Cape May. Cape May has something for everyone! Beautiful beaches, fantastic restaurants, great shopping, horse drawn carriage rides etc.

There is street parking available. Between Memorial day and Labor day, only Saturday to Saturday reservations.

For larger groups, inquire about rear unit (2 beds). These units share a backyard.
