Our vacation cottage is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath. There is an outdoor shower and large fenced-in yard. There is 1 queen and 2 full size bunk beds. You must provide your own pillowcases, sheets, towels and washcloths. We provide pillows, comforters and blankets. Check in is 4:00. Check out is 11:00. I am unable to accommodate early check-in's during the summer season.

Furniture, beds, wall A/C's, hot water heater and smart TV with Amazon fire stick are updated. Property is on a quiet street in historic Townbank, which is the most desirable part of North Cape May. The end of my block backs up to the Cape May Wildlife Area which makes it much less populated than other streets. There is very little traffic and is extremely quiet. It's a 1 1/2 block walk to the Delaware Bay beach where you will see the most amazing sunsets, be able to walk your dog, fish off the jetty or just relax on the uncrowded beach. It’s a short drive to the wineries, Cape May and Wildwood boardwalk. There are some really great dining spots that fit all budgets in North Cape May if you want to stay local.

No matter how stressed our lives are, as soon as we get out of the car in the driveway and breathe in the air, see the clear sky and don't hear a sound except for birds, our muscles can't help but go "aaahhh." We know you will feel this too. It's the perfect getaway.

It features an open porch with wicker furniture, two bedrooms, one and one-half bathrooms, full kitchen, living room, and dining area. The large deck is equipped with a cantilever umbrella to provide shade to the conversation for you and your company. These are seasonal tags and are needed for Cape May Beach Access. These chairs are stored on the deck for your use. PLEASE DO NOT LOSE THEM. Yacht Avenue is a very popular street for vacationers so parking can sometimes be tight. As a small community we all work together to help each other and we please ask our guests to do the same during the duration of your stay. If you have a Compact-Midsize vehicle, you can park directly in front of the property / home. Additional parking can be found directly adjacent to the Wawa 1 block away if traveling with multiple vehicles. (PLEASE REFRAIN FROM PARKING IN FRONT OF OTHER PROPERTIES ON YACHT AVE AS THERE IS LIMITED PARING FOR ALL)

As Cape May is a top ten vacation destination, parking is difficult throughout the island, not just on Yacht Ave. We suggest using bicycles when possible to visit the island restaurants and shops as it will give you an additional perspective of our quaint little town.

Lastly, please respect our neighbors in regards to noise, loud music, etc. "The Water's Edge" is the perfect place to relax and relish in the calm of Cape May Harbor.

Welcome to Cape May . Our pet friendly home on a secluded street in Cape May has an in-ground pool, fire pit and is a short walk to restaurants, bars, fishing, and whale watching excursions. Bed linens, bath towels, and pool towels included. There is plenty of room in the yard for the kids and pets.

While you’re here, take advantage of the great beaches and visit the nearby wineries, breweries, and distilleries.

The Space:
For 85 years this home was occupied by the patriarch of a local fishing fleet. The home still has the charm of a historic home but has been updated with the addition of a modern bathroom and new kitchen appliances.
You will walk in the frontdoor to a spacious living room that is equipped with a Samsung 65" smart TV and smart speaker to listen to music or just say "Hey G**gle what's the weather.. The dining room seats 10 comfortably. The arched doorway to the left, once the Captians office is now has 2 daybeds (one with a trundle) but there is no door on that sleeping area that is used as the 5th bedroom. The spacious eat in kitchen and laundry room are to the left rear. The center hall leads to the bedrooms on the first floor, 1 bedroom with a queen bed and 1 with a king bed and 2 full baths. Walk up the stairs and you'll find a large bunkroom to the left with 3 daybeds with trundles and an additional bedroom with queen bed. Relax at the private in-ground pool during the day. Use the grill to make a fabulous dinner or go out to any one of the great restaurants and then enjoy a romantic midnight swim or have a glass of wine around the fire pit or in the screened sunroom.

Quiet Mother In-Law apartment with private entrance on a dead end street with giant wrap around porch. Apartment is connected to the main residence by a laundry room with a keyed door on both sides. Bedroom has a Queen size memory foam mattress, TV w/Roku. Living area has a Queen size sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress, 42in TV with Roku to access Netflix, Hulu, etc. Outside Entry door has a keypad that will be programmed with a 4 digit pin specifically for your check in to check out time.

The space
All linens and towels are provided, washer and dryer are available for stays longer then 7 days upon request. Owners are next door and happy to help with anything we can, restaurant recommendations, directions, activities, beach tags, etc.

Apartment is walking distance to Historic Cold Spring Village & Brewery. One righthand turn off of Cox Lane and it is a straight drive to the Cape May Beachfront, which is only 3.8 miles away and less then a 10 minute drive.

We would like to welcome you to “Harmony House “in North Cape May, NJ! Read on below to get a configuration of our space.

ROOMS: This is a split-level house with three bedrooms in the upper half and one large bedroom in the lower half. The three bedrooms upstairs all have queen size beds and closets. One room comes equipped with a changing table and a pack and play inside the closet. You are responsible for assembling the pack and play. The fourth bedroom has two single beds in the lower half of the house. You can read more in the description below.

BASEMENT/GAME ROOM: The fourth and largest room in the lower half of the house has its own lock. So, it is a private room with an en suite bathroom. It also includes the game room with foosball table, other board games and TV. It is a smart TV so you can access Netflix, Amazon, etc through your own log in information. The foosball table is versatile 10-in-1 table: Interchangeable tabletop lets you play slide hockey, foosball, billiards, shuffleboard, table tennis, chess, cards, checkers, bowling, and backgammon (Billiards and table tennis are not regulation size). The accessories for the some of the games can be found in the basket on the windowsill next to the table. There are two additional sleeping quarters next to the fireplace in the basement. This room does not have a closet. However we have provided shelf with hangers for your convenience.

STUDY: The basement also includes a study table and chair should there be a need to work remotely.

BATHROOMS: There are two full baths; one on the upper level and another in the lower level/basement. The upper bath has a tub and built-in shower. The lower bath has a stand-up shower and laundry room included. Both bathrooms have toilets. You will also find extra towels (white) and beach towels (blue) on the shelves above the laundry countertop in the lower level bathroom.

LIVING ROOM: Has a couch and two chairs. We also have an ottoman by the side and two poufs for additional seating. There is also reading material and a tv in the living room. It is a smart TV so you can access Netflix, Amazon, etc through your own log in information.

KITCHEN: Our kitchen comes fully stocked with plates, cups, mugs, coffee-maker and a French press. Please enjoy some complimentary coffee, tea or hot chocolate. You will also find cookware and cooking utensils. We have provided child friendly cups and plates as well inside the cabinets. The island comes with two bar stools and there is a breakfast nook right off the kitchen for you to enjoy some morning meals.

DINING ROOM: We have a six-person dining table; four chairs and a bench. For those coming with infants and toddlers, you will find a baby feeding chair with a tray by the corner. For additional seating you may use the breakfast nook adjacent to the dining room. The dining room leads out to the patio.

PATIO: We hope you get the chance to enjoy our patio which leads out to the backyard. There is outdoor seating provided next to the grill. Please refer to the House Manual on instructions to use the grill.

FIRE PIT: Our newly installed fire pit comes with four Adirondack chairs. Additional chairs can be found inside the gazebo.

GAZEBO: Our summer hut includes four beach chairs and an umbrella. Please ensure that they are placed back in the gazebo prior to your departure. There is a $250 fee per item for any missing items.

SIDE ENTRANCE: There is a side entrance to the left of the house which leads straight into the backyard which you will have access to as well. You can enter the house from the dining room through the backyard.

This is an apartment originally designed as an in law suite and is attached to the main house. There is a shared laundry room that adjoins the two properties available to guests staying at least 7 nights.The apartment has its own entrance and has a side and back porch area.
Quiet bucolic neighborhood, plenty of parking, Cold Spring area, 1.5 miles to Broadway beach and the Cove. An easy bike ride to town or beach. Beach tags and bikes are available for tenant use. You are welcome to pick your own vegetables and herbs grown on the property.
