For a visit in August during USNA parents weekend, this was the ideal place - close enough to walk to downtown, pool was fantastic, amenities were spot-on. A quiet and restful spot for a tired plebe." - "We rented the house for five days before and after a wedding in Annapolis. Special features included the pool, which was not heated but comfortable after a quick plunge, a screened in porch with a wide screen television, a lush garden, and an efficient kitchen with more gadgets than I have in my 4,000 square-foot house at home. Liz, the owner and manager, was quick to respond to every inquiry and very accommodating. Within two blocks were excellent seafood restaurants and a vegetarian breakfast/lunch counter. My son and I enjoyed running every morning over the bay bridge and into the historic heart of what seemed more like a large village than a city. My career was in historic preservation and this compares well with Savanna. Minor inconveniences included low water pressure (which is being improved by city crews who blocked nearby roads occasionally), the one-way street that passed by the house and made entering and exiting the driveway an occasional challenge, and the front steps without a hand rail. Best of all was the pool where my six year old grandson and I invented a new game called Pappa Ball, keeping a beach ball up in the air passing to one another. We had lots of laughs and hugs. We would book the place again in a heartbeat."
