- "Absolutely Horrible – Do Not Stay Here This property should not be listed for rent. When we arrived, it looked abandoned—broken windows on the ground floor, no exterior lighting (very unsafe at night), and the key was difficult to retrieve from the lockbox. As soon as we entered, we were hit with a musty, stale odor that made the entire place feel like a haunted house. The ground-floor bathroom door literally fell off the hinges when opened. That bathroom also flooded, making it unusable. There was mold, rotting wood, no soap or towels provided, and we had to buy our own sheets because the ones provided were questionable. One of the beds on the first floor broke while we were there, and upon inspection, we found several loose screws clearly used to patch it together—a sign that this wasn’t the first time it had broken. The entire property is held together with quick fixes that eventually fall apart. We also encountered bed bugs, a cockroach, and cracks throughout the unit. Overall, this property is in extremely poor condition, and I would never recommend it to anyone."

All linens/bedding, including 4 sets of bath towels, are provided. Four beach towels are provided. No beach umbrella or beach toys are provided.

This unit is pet friendly. We allow up to 2 house trained dogs or cats and require:
-Pets not be allowed on the beds or furniture
-When pets are left alone, ideally, they are left in crates. Otherwise, the doors to the bedroom and bathroom should be left shut.

Guest Access:
Access is by private door with door code. There is no ramp or elevator in this building.

Guests will have the entire suite to themselves. All suites / units are fully separate with dedicated entrances.

Getting Around:
Parking - Guests are given one parking spot in the parking lot.

We do not have designated street parking-additional parking can be found at the beach access across the street from the building.

Other Things to Note:
House rules:
• Absolutely no smoking in or near the building. Any smoking must be outdoors at least 25 ft from the building. Guests will be fined if smoking policy is violated.
• No parties or events (gatherings over max occupancy of 4 will be shut down immediately unless previously approved by host)
• Check-in is anytime after 4PM
• Up to 2 house trained dogs or cats are allowed in unit. Pets are not allowed on/in beds. When left alone in unit, please crate. If no crate, shut all bedroom and bathroom doors.
• Please clean up after your pets when outdoors. Utilize the pet waste station to properly dispose of any pet waste.
• No fires or fire pits allowed on the beach.
• No fireworks allowed on the beach. Use of fireworks will result in a breach of house rules as many house fires have been started in the area due to fireworks.
• Please stay off of the rocks on the beach, as they become slippery and can be quite dangerous.
• Glitter of any kind is not allowed in the unit. Any sign of glitter throughout the unit will result in an immediate $100 cleaning remediation fee.

Enjoy an extended stay in my beautiful home in Norfolk! Centrally located a short distance from the beach, this home is a comfortable place to stay. You have a private room with a full-size bed, personal work-station, dresser, Smart TV, and closet. I rent 2 separate rooms which guests share a dedicated personal bathroom. Shared common areas include a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and a large back yard w/ a swim spa, barbecue area with table and chairs.

The space
You are renting a single room within a home. The home comes with dining room, living room, kitchen and laundry room. WIFI consists of high-speed fiber internet, a smart tv in each bedroom and one 85" smart tv in the living room.

Easy check in with keyless entry. However, you will also be provided with a key for added security.

Large fenced in backyard, with patio, furniture, gas grill and swim spa.

Parking for 3 vehicles

I rent 2 rooms, so all areas are available but may be shared. The bathroom is dedicated to guests. If only one room is rented, it will be private for the sole guest.

2. Drug use inside the property is absolutely prohibited.
3. Parties and excessively loud music are not allowed.
4. Additional guests - This property is listed for 4 overnight guests total. If you plan to have additional visitors, please share the details with me for approval. Non-disclosed guests will be charged $50/day.
5. The cancellation policy is available before booking. No exceptions will be made if the booking is on the non-refundable period. Airbnb offers a travel insurance policy during the booking period, offered by a 3rd party. We encourage you to get travel insurance for your trip.
6. Pets - only dogs are allowed, but please clean up after it. An additional $50 fee will apply if my cleaning service must pick up after the dog (feces, excessive hair, etc).

$40 - supports homeless veterans through ARISEUnited to move veterans from homelessness to homeownership in association with the UnitedWay.
$25 - Normal cleaning fee to be reimbursed after your room is cleaned according to Check Out procedures

It’s TINY, but it’s all yours.

Open your private entrance door to your room, with a bathroom, a small sink, cabinet, fridge, microwave, drop-leaf table, two chairs and that’s about all.

The space
Expect TINY! This may be your chance to find out whether tiny house living might suit you.

It is really just a bedroom, with a small adjoining bath. There is a fridge, a microwave, a very small sink and a little bit of cabinet space. There is a drop leaf contraption mounted on the wall that you raise up and use for your table. There is a nightstand with a few drawers, and a row of hooks on the wall behind the door to hang your clothes.

It is “tiny“ but we have had people stay for as much as a year. Works best when people are working long hours and just need a place to come home and sleep, bathe, eat and repeat. And maybe go home on the weekends.

Outside your door, you have the whole outdoors, with the beach just a block away. There are also multiple restaurants within a block.

The room is a large room with a love seat. A small fridge, and a desk is in the room. Private door entrance in the back. Street parking. The mattress is a queen size. Their is off two shared bathrooms with three males and one female. The other male has a private bathroom. The shared spaces is the kitchen area, laundry room, and two shared full bath and a half bathroom. The full bathroom is on the second floor. The second half bathroom is on the first floor. All are respectful and work full time. They keep to their selves with hectic work schedule. Three are government employees. One is a Manager working 6 days a week. And one works on base.
