The space
Things to know before booking

The bed is firm, which is actually good for your spine—so my mattress is intentionally firm for better support.

Wifi is basic, not for gamers.

The second floor has wooden flooring, so please change your shoes before going upstairs.

We do not accept guests who use marijuana or curently drug use, as the smell can linger on clothing and affect the linens.

Communication is key. If you experience any issues during your stay—such as problems with Wi-Fi, water, electrical outlets, or flooding—please let me know immediately before any damage occurs to the house.

Welcome to Lina's Cabin, and thank you for choosing to stay with us. We ONLY accept ONE guest at a time, and we do not allow any visitors of our guests. We appreciate your trust and support. To ensure a complete and pleasant stay, please adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Please let me know your check-in time in advance so I can better arrange my schedule to accommodate your visit.

2.Please keep your room clean during stay to avoid visits from cockroaches and ants.

3. We do not provide any medication or food during your stay to prevent unnecessary disputes. A pharmacy is a 2-minute drive away from the cabin for your reference.

4. We do not offer package mailing or receiving services for guests staying less than a week. A post office is within a 5-minute drive for your reference.

5. Please try to maintain quietness after 10:00 PM during weekdays to ensure we have the energy to meet the challenges of the following day. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please try to keep noise like TV or PHONE CALL to a minimum during this time to ensure a restful experience for other guests.

6. Kindly take care of your belongings, as we do not take responsibility for any lost items.

7. Feel free to use any household appliances in the cabin, and handle public facilities such as the washing machine(If you use drugs, please do not wash your clothing or Navy coveralls in the personal washing machine, as it may leave behind residue or odors.), refrigerator, television, and other household appliances with care. Guests will be charged for any damages.

8. Due to the presence of cats in the cabin, please refrain from feeding or touching them. We do not take responsibility for any bites or scratches.

9. The cabin is newly renovated, we do not accept smoking, excessive drinking, drug use, or marijuana consumption（currently marijuana user） Please understand that if such activities are discovered, compensation will be sought from guests.

10. Please understand that for long-term residents, our cabin does not permit parties, visits from strangers, or commercial photography. We aim to provide a peaceful and comfortable environment for all guests to enjoy a tranquil living experience. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding

We are right off 264/464 interstate 10 minutes to the Norfolk Naval base and 8 minutes to Chesapeake Regional Hospital. We are 20 minutes to Virginia Beach Ocean front. The house is situated in a relaxing neighborhood across from Lakeview Park. There is a grocery store .5 miles down the road and a Dollar General and gas station within walking distance. Restaurants are easy enough to drive too, but none within walking distance. There are 90 plus parks in Chesapeake. Come here to relax, kyake the Elizabeth River, and live your best life!

The washing machine is a little funny. It has to run for a minute before the water come in. There are directions next to it. There are laundry pods and fabric softener sheets provided for you.

Should you smoke inside you will be charged $500 for professional smoke removal cleaning services.
