Step inside a tucked-away hidden oasis surrounded by trees and waterfront views. The apt is on the 2nd floor amongst the trees. One of the trees is a 200-year-old Magnolia Tree, which is why the space is called Magnolia Tree House.
The tall windows make the space bright and airy and give you a 180-degree scenic view of the treetops. To bring the outside in, we decorated the apt to feel like the trees are also inside. The cozy furnishings will make it hard to leave.
Listen to the birds sing while you enjoy your morning coffee or tea (we provide both machines).
There are two corner nooks perfect for lounging, reading, or napping. Our favorite is the corner nook with an authentic Papasan chair. In this nook, we decorated the walls with vines and twinkling fairy lights. It looks magical when lit up at night.
Even though this rare space is 1bd/1ba it feels spacious. We outfitted the apt with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The apt has full-sized appliances, an office space, room darkening curtains, and a luxe bathroom. It truly is a haven for long stays and people who want a bright and airy home away from home.
Take a short walk on the well-lit path to the back of the building, where the terrace oasis awaits you. Along the waterfront, the terrace has:
- A southern-style porch with two rocking chairs.
- A large fire-pit with six Adirondack chairs.
- A grilling area with outdoor dining tables, and we provide you with the grilling tools.
- A beautiful outdoor seating area with pendant and fairy lights.
While the property feels like a peaceful hidden oasis, it is still centrally located. The property is right off highway 464, and south of downtown Norfolk. Guests can easily navigate to downtown Norfolk (10 mins), Virginia Beach Town Center (17 mins), and the Virginia Beach Boardwalk (30 mins).
The space is in an apartment building that has 4 apartments. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood of Chesapeake. There is plenty of shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and recreation. All 10 minutes away or less.
Plus you will receive a parking pass for a reserved parking space.

There is only one entry door to the unit. Access is by a private door using a smart lock. All units are fully separate with their own entrances. Guests have the entire space to themselves.

The space is best for up to two guests; however, the sofa can convert into a sofa bed futon.
The fee for extra guest is $25/guest/per night. Max of four guest in the space total, which equals up to 2 main guest and up to 2 extra guest.

This unit is pet friendly. We allow one (1) house trained dog and require the following:

- When dog is left alone, ideally, they are left in crates.

- Absolutely no smoking in or near the building. Guests will be fined if smoking policy is violated.
- **Strict no party policy. No parties or events (gatherings over max occupancy of 4 will be shut down immediately unless previously approved by host)
- No fireworks allowed in the back terrace or along the waterfront.. Use of fireworks will result in a breach of house rules as many house fires have been started in the area due to fireworks.
- Please stay off of the rocks on the waterfront, as they become slippery and can be quite dangerous.
- Glitter of any kind is not allowed in the unit. Any sign of glitter throughout the unit will result in an immediate $100 cleaning remediation fee.

This unit is pet friendly. We allow one (1) house trained dog and require the following:

Checking out Before End of Reservation Date: Guest(s) are allowed to leave early but will not receive a refund for the remaining days of the reservation. Unless the following:
- The guest gives 30 days' notice (prior to the departure date) in writing (email or text) and received confirmation that we received the notice.
- Or unless there was an unrepairable maintenance issue or something against platform policies that cannot be reconciled.

- Check-in is any time after 4PM
- Absolutely no smoking in or near the building. Guests will be fined if smoking policy is violated.
- **Strict no party policy. No parties or events (gatherings over max occupancy of 6 will be shut down immediately unless previously approved by host)
- No fireworks allowed in the back terrace or along the waterfront. Use of fireworks will result in a breach of house rules as many house fires have been started in the area due to fireworks.
- Please stay off of the rocks on the waterfront, as they become slippery and can be quite dangerous.
- Glitter of any kind is not allowed in the unit. Any sign of glitter throughout the unit will result in an immediate $100 cleaning remediation fee.

- Breed restrictions: Akita, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, American Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Bull Dog, Alaskan Malamute, Belgian Malinois, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shephard, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, And any mixed breed dog w/ identifiable characteristics specific to one of these breeds.

- Dogs are not allowed on/in beds.
- When left alone in unit, please crate. If no crate, shut all bedroom and bathroom doors.
- Dog must be on a leash on and off the property.

- We do not have pet waste stations. Dispose of any pet waste in the Suite's designated Waste Bin in the trash area.

There is only one entry door to the unit. Access is by a private door using a smart lock. All units are fully separate with their own entrances. Guests have the entire space to themselves.

The space is best for up to two guests; however, the sofa can convert into a sofa bed futon.
The fee for extra guest is $25/guest/per night. Max of four guest in the space total, which equals up to 2 main guest and up to 2 extra guest.

All linen/bedding provided. There is a queen spring mattress, mattress protector, pillow topper, four pillows, and pillow protectors. In addition, there is ample storage with a large dresser, nightstand, and full closet.
We also provide two sets of bath towels, washcloths, and hand towels.
The living room has a ton of space for relaxation with a 43" Smart TV and high-speed WIFI. The TV comes with Netflix and regular television with most channels.
This unit is pet friendly. We allow one (1) house trained dog and require the following:
- Dog not allowed on the bed or furniture.
- When dog is left alone, ideally, they are left in crates.
+ Otherwise, the doors to the bedroom and bathroom should be left shut.
-Dog must be trained not to bark or excessively so surrounding residents and neighbors are not disturbed.

Guests have private waterfront access just steps from the space. The terrace and waterfront are shared amongst guests (s) and residents. If you would like to reserve the back terrace for a private occasion (non-party), please let me know 72 hours before the date.

Checking out Before End of Reservation Date: Guest(s) are allowed to leave early, but will not receive a refund for the remaining days of the reservation. Unless the following:
- The guest gives 30 days notice (prior to the departure date) in writing (email or text) and received confirmation that we received the notice.
- Or unless there was an unrepairable maintenance issue or something against platform policies that cannot be reconciled.
----HOUSE RULES----
- Check-in is anytime after 4PM
- Absolutely no smoking in or near the building. Guests will be fined if smoking policy is violated.
- **Strict no party policy. No parties or events (gatherings over max occupancy of 4 will be shut down immediately unless previously approved by host)
- No fireworks allowed in the back terrace or along the waterfront.. Use of fireworks will result in a breach of house rules as many house fires have been started in the area due to fireworks.
- Please stay off of the rocks on the waterfront, as they become slippery and can be quite dangerous.
- Glitter of any kind is not allowed in the unit. Any sign of glitter throughout the unit will result in an immediate $100 cleaning remediation fee.

- One(1) house trained dog is allowed in unit.
- 35 lbs pet weight limit
- Breed restrictions: Akita, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, American Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Bull Dog, Alaskan Malamute, Belgian Malinois, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shephard, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, And any mixed breed dog w/ identifiable characteristics specific to one of these breed.
-If known history of chewing or scratching furniture, walls, etc., then that pet(s) not permitted.
- Dog are not allowed on/in beds.
- When left alone in unit, please crate. If no crate, shut all bedroom and bathroom doors.
- Dog must be on a leash on and off the property.
- Please clean up after your pets when outdoors.
- We do not have pet waste stations. Dispose of any pet waste in the Suite's designated Waste Bin in the trash area.

- Check - out is 11:00am.
- Place used towels, wash cloths, and hand towels in the hamper in the Laundry closet.
- Place rinsed dishes into dishwasher. Do not leave dishes in the sink.
- Drop your trash off in the designated waste bin near the building.
- Turn TV off.
- Unplug toaster, coffee pot, and tea kettle.
- Leave AC on in summer at and heat on in winter.
- Leave the parking pass on the kitchen counter.
- Lock door behind you by pressing the lock button.

Yorktown isn’t an hour away.
Lots of museums.
Norfolk Naval Shipyard is older than our country, it has a museum nearby, The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Museum.

4. Northend Beaches. No showers and free street parking. Less crowds. From 42nd thru 89th streets.
Pendleton Beach is small but nice with showers & facilities.
