A buzzing restaurant district. You are in the heart of downtown Suffolk. 5 minutes from the Cultural Arts Center, Suffolk Courts, Suffolk City Hall and the Police Department. This is a remodel loaf.

It felt like i was sleeping on a box spring, they are extremely firm. If u don't mind a very firm mattress then this won't be a problem for you. Lastly the owner does not mention that this property sits on top of a club and it stays open until about 1:30am 2am. The music is so loud it sound like its right in the house, you can feel the bass of the music through the floor. Don't get me wrong the music was jumping and the party was live but if you are the type to go to bed early or want a place just for piece and quiet this is not the property for you. If you don't mind the music or like to party until 2 in the morning then this place is perfect minus the hard mattress."

- "This has the potential to be a nice little place to stay, but our stay was not good. There were several issues we experienced:1. On the check in day, I never received any communication from the host to provide the door code and the booking said check in was 2pm but host stated it was 4pm which was an issue because we got there at 3pm but she was finishing up when we pulled up. 2. The door did not lock and we couldn’t leave so she had to come back and change the battery. 3. There was a dirty pot sitting in the sink full of dirty water and the faucet was hanging down almost in the pot and did not retract so it seemed broken. 4. There were absolutely NO eating utensils, not 1 fork, spoon or even a butter knife in the entire kitchen. There was 1 old steak knife just thrown in an empty drawer and all of the drawers were empty except 1 that had miscellaneous stuff in it. 5. There is a dishwasher but is not hooked up and doesn’t work. 6. We were provided wash cloths and towels but there were no hand towels to dry our hands and no foot towel in the bathroom. 7. The WORST issue is the tub was clogged so both of us had to shower as the dirty water gathered and covered our feet as we tried to wash which was disgusting. "

The main living area features large windows that overlook the water, providing stunning views and plenty of natural light. The open floor plan includes a comfortable living room, a very open kitchen, and dining area.

Step outside onto the deck out back to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. EVERYTHING in the area is within 30 mins.

This property is a home built originally in 1966 with a lot of character. Most of the house has hardwood flooring and generally open with a lot of potential for light to shine in.

Both bedrooms have small desks for a work area. The living room and den are a connected big open space perfect for hosting friends and family.

The space
You will have 2nd floor of historic home, built in 1894 by a sea captain whose ship was lost at sea. Suite
is completely separate and private. Includes 1 bedroom, living room, kitchenette/dining room with small table for eating or work area. and bathroom with shower.
The home is over 100 years old, so charming but also has its quirks., as in letting the hot water run in the sink or shower for a few minutes to warm up before getting into shower. And best not to plug in hair dryer same time as heater is running or will trip breaker. But just a quick text and that will be fixed.

Guest access
You can access the suite by obtaining key through the key box at front door. Code will be provided to you at time of reservation. The suite is completely private and separate from downstairs of house. There is a completely different locked door to access downstairs. But owner uses door on side of house not that door.

Guests will have their own private driveway that brings them right to the front door that leads up to the studio. 2 guests are fine for short term up to a week. For longer stays single occupancy only

Guests staying in the Carriage House will have a private entrance. They will also have access to the onsite cafe, Cafe Davina, open from 8 am to 2 pm Tuesday through Sunday, where they can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or tea, delicious crepes, paninis, avocado toast, and assorted baked items. The Pinner House property spans 1 1/2 acres and offers a variety of outdoor relaxation areas. Guests can unwind by the grand Italian fountain, cozy up by the outdoor fireplace in the grape arbor, or explore the magnificent Magnolia Tree with seating. Additionally, there are several patios and seating areas throughout the property for guests to enjoy.

Guest access
You will have access to your accommodations in your private Carriage House Suite. Cafe Davina, the onsite cafe is open from 8am - 2pm Tuesday - Sunday with plenty of seating indoors and out to enjoy a delicious European inspired breakfast and a cup of coffee or tea. The Pinner House property is situated on 1 1/2 acres . There are several places to relax and enjoy the outdoors on the property. From the grand Italian fountain, the magnificent Magnolia tree, and the grape arbor with its cozy outdoor fireplace.

Guest access
Electronic locks allow guests to access the apartment without physical interaction. To access the pool and 24-hour fitness center, guests will be given a key fob that allows them to access the gym & pool gates. These must be returned.

Other things to note
This apartment is located over top of a brand new car wash. Inside the unit there is little to no noise from the wash outside of a dull hum, similar to a low white noise. The car wash operates from 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week so guest will need to be prepared that they will exit their private entrance to a busy business. Resident parking is tucked away from the Blue Hippo business lot with reserved spaces clearly distinguished for residents.
