- "Good times!" - "Had never heard of Massenutten prior to this trip! What a wonderful house with the great amenities of the resort! The area is beautiful! I have never stayed in a cleaner home than this one!" - "We would definitely stay here again. Here are the pros—Cleanliness: Everything was incredibly clean, I would say cleaner than many non-pet-friendly places we’ve stayed. Tubs were in great shape, we didn’t have any hesitation about utilizing jet tubs in bedrooms. Even the bbq grill was clean. Comfort: Plenty of places to sit and relax, comfy couches and chairs on both floors. Mattresses and provided pillows were supportive not too firm or too soft. We slept very well. Amenities: House had everything we needed with some small exceptions(see cons), the game room setup downstairs was a great place to hang out in the evenings. Resort amenities were wonderful. We especially loved the petting farm, highly recommend if you are traveling with little ones who like animals or is something fun to do if adults enjoy petting sheep and goats :) Here are the cons, but there aren’t many— No spices/salt/pepper: One of the great things about VRBO homes is that you can usually find salt pepper and maybe some other spices or cooking oil in the kitchen. This kitchen is very well organized and nicely stocked but it’s clear anything left behind is tossed. Accentuated by the empty salt and pepper shakers nicely arranged on dining table. Not a big deal but come prepared! Dish soap, sponge, dishwasher tabs, trash bags and paper towels are provided with enough to last a long weekend, maybe even a full week. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would love to go back in summer!"

Other things to note
There is a resort fee payable at check in. It is $14.00 per day. This fee covers use of the public areas such as pools and exercise facilities.

Most other organized activities require an additional charge. I have found them to be reasonable for the value added by the activity. You can find these charges and activities at the Massanutten Resort website "massresorts. com". You may also preplan and reserve most of your events before arriving at the resort.

You must be 21 years of age to reserve and check into the condominium. Massanutten requires that you provide a valid personal Identification and a $100 security “ hold” placed onto a major credit card. This “ hold” will be released upon check out.

I love the private-gated community that has access to all amenities that are about 5 to 10 minutes within the resort! The indoor water park, mini golf, horseback riding, zip lines, go-carts and an adventure trail will keep you active and the kids will have a blast. To ensure a smooth and secure stay, we require the primary guest listed on the reservation to complete a simple screening process within 48 hours of booking confirmation. Please note that your reservation is not confirmed until these steps are completed.

Once verified, and prior to check-in, guests will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement that includes:
- Agreeing to our rental terms and conditions.
- Providing a valid government-issued ID and a matching credit card before check-in.
- Paying a non-refundable $55 damage waiver. The damage waiver provides coverage for accidental damage during your stay, as long as it is reported prior to your check-out.

The damage waiver covers accidental damage that may occur during your stay. To ensure coverage, all damage must be reported promptly while you’re still at the property. We understand there is normal wear and tear at houses but should anything accidentally break or get stained during your stay please just let us know. Thank you!

Other things to note
House is priced by # of guest. Base price is for 2 guest, each additional guest is $35 night. This keeps it fair so guest can pay for # of overnight guest vs others who price for the entire house occupancy even though less guest than full occupancy stay. Early check-in, late checkout is offered, ask if interested.

The space
Are you looking for a peaceful home? Pinecone Cottage has 3 bedrooms, and 2 full baths and can accommodate up to 6 guests. With plenty of natural light, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a connected dining area, you can cook your own meals or grill on the back deck. Additionally, the cottage has two inviting decks to relax, enjoy a glass of wine from a local vineyard, and stargaze at night.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cottage and all of its amenities.

Other things to note
If you don't want to pack your own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, they are available in the showers' dispensers. Towels, linens, paper products, and laundry supplies are also included.

High speed, wireless internet is provided and off-street parking for up to 3 cars is available at the cottage.

Check-in is at 4 PM using the keyless entry. You will be given a code prior to check-in. While we hate for you to leave Pinecone Cottage, check-out is at 11 AM.
