Originally constructed in 1992, this 2,166 foot square Cape Cod style lodge has 4 bedrooms, (2 queen beds, 1 king bed and 1 memory foam sofa bed), 4 bathrooms and a modern kitchen. Sofas and inflatable mattresses are available for extra guests if requested. Propane fuels the heating system and stove. Exposed natural timber and stone interior blend with all natural hardwood floors providing guests with the truest sense of modern cabin life. Although guests will find themselves totally isolated in this woods retreat, the lodge offers Dish TV and WiFi.

Well this was the perfect place to do just that and more. Our cabin was right next to the creek and it was the perfect place to relax with coffee or a cocktail. There is wonderful hiking on the property and in nearby towns. We hiked to Cascade Falls which was a real treat-about 20 minutes away! We were there off season so there were no guests near us but I can imagine this as a great place to bring your family for fun and relaxation! We want to do just that! This home is located a short walk away from Torgerson bridge entrance. If you are traveling into ROA you could easily skip the delays and pains of a rental car if your business is on campus as you are walking distance to everything except the CRC, we would recommend UBER or a Bike for those trips.

If you just want a quiet place to relax while visiting the home is also just far enough off main street to be a quiet resting spot to recharge after a long day working on campus. The home is surrounded by foliage and borders the entrance to Han park so the noises of the student nightlife are not something you have to hear inside the block and mortar walls.

We do consider long term rentals and provide discounts for business travelers traveling on an extended stay. Please no requests under 25 years old.

So much better than putting them up in hotel. The house provided them comfortable and clean accommodations as well as individual privacy, as each crew member had their own bedroom. The Home
The main house features two bedrooms: a master suite with a plush king bed and a second bedroom with twin beds, ideal for kids or friends. Step out the back door and onto the banks of one of the best muskie fishing stretches of the New River. Welcome to our cozy two-bedroom rural getaway, nestled in the heart of the charming rural mountain New River Valley! This two bedroom, one bathroom space, with an open living room and kitchen makes use of every inch of its floor plan. It is a complete living space attached to the hosts' old stone ranch on one acre in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Giles County, VA. This spacious retreat is perfect for families, friends, or solo travelers looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the rural countryside.

The large front porch offers a gorgeous space to enjoy. Make sure to wave at the neighbors!

The spacious first bedroom with connecting bathroom and walk in closet, contains a king bed with memory foam mattress and allows room for a travel crib or just a relaxing space for two.

The second bedroom has a queen sized memory foam mattress, closet and also connects to the bathroom. This room has a 22" TV with streaming network capabilities.

Both bedrooms are air-conditioned and feature ceiling fans, so you'll always be comfortable, no matter the weather outside!

The bathroom serves as a connection between the two bedrooms and we have provided plenty of clean towels, soaps, body wash and shampoo and conditioner for our guests.

The kitchen contains an electric range, oven, dishwasher, full size refrigerator and freezer, microwave, coffee maker and full complement of cooking and dining ware. This fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up a delicious home-cooked meal, and the dining area provides a cozy space to enjoy it in.

The living room has plenty of room to gather around and talk or watch your favorite streaming network on our large screen TV, making it the perfect spot for relaxing after a day of exploring the area. We have provided free access to HBO Max and Disney+ for our guests. Please feel free to put any of the games available in the cabinet in the sitting area to good use.

The surrounding area is filled with endless opportunities for outdoor recreation and adventure. Take a leisurely hike through the mountains, head out for a bike ride along the rolling hills and farmland, or paddle the New River. Blacksburg, the nearby college town is also home to a vibrant cultural scene, with an array of shops, restaurants, and coffeehouses, as well as numerous cultural and educational opportunities. Whether you're looking for a quiet getaway or an action-packed vacation, you're sure to find it here!

Guest access
You'll have access to the 80 foot long front porch with a dining table, 4 chairs and some lounge furniture. We may share it to walk to our cars in rainy weather but there's plenty of room.

The laundry room is the connection point between the two homes, but our guests have private access to it. We will only use it to drop off requested items.

Please feel free to enjoy our front yard.

Other things to note
There are pets in the hosts' side of the house, and the neighbor's outdoor cats will come visit outside, so guests with pet allergies will have the potential to be exposed to animals. Our dog would be happy to meet you if you would like some animal company on the porch.

There is a security camera on the outside of the premises at the front door. We turn off audio for privacy and neither porch is monitored.
