The space
The “Crow’s Nest” is a 1 bedroom/1 bath fully detached upstairs guest apartment with a living room and fully stocked kitchen. Dine al fresco on nice evenings under our pergola and café lights surrounded by lush landscaping in the summer. We also provide lawn games such as croquet and cornhole along with summer beach essentials like chairs and umbrellas.
We are less than .4 mi away from the Lewes Georgetown Bike trail and 3.7 mi to Lewes beach. We have super easy transit to the beach for bicycle riders (hint: bike parking is free parking) via the Georgetown Lewes Bike Trail. Walk to Old World Bread Bakery for coffee and breakfast or Beach Time Distilling for an early cocktail or take the bike trail just 2 miles to the new (and awesome) Lewes Brewing Company.
Wifi and a desk provides a great work space for the remote work warrior and a canopy bed allows for a welcome escape to our quaint beach town. Unwind in the evenings with a smart tv filled with your favorite apps or relax on the couch with one of the many books we provide about the local area.
Our neighborhood is convenient and easy to get to. It’s right off of Route 1 for quick transit, but backs to a protected wildlife area which makes it still quiet and tranquil. We are located just .4 mi away from the Lewes Georgetown Bike Trail and definitely recommend using it to bike to downtown Lewes and the beach! Using the trail we are just under a 4 mi bike ride to Lewes Beach. Turning left onto the bike trail, we are just .5 mi from Old World Bread (great breakfast bakery). In the other direction about 2 miles down the bike trail, try brunch at The Station on Kings or the ice cream stand Marigold in their parking lot (best ice cream around!). We are also directly across the highway from Nassau Valley Vineyard which has a fantastic Sunday Farmer's Market. Be sure to bike to the Saturday Historic Lewes Farmer's Market too! We are about 3 miles to the Rehoboth Tanger Outlets too for all the shoppers out there!
We recommend renting bikes from Seagreen Bicycles. Our neighbor's son owns the shop and they are fantastic and kind.

Guests have full access to the garage apartment and garage apartment laundry room which is all separate and private from the main owner’s home. We provide parking for guests right in front of the apartment.

You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space and relaxing country feel. The cottage is best for couples. A maximum of two dogs is allowed.
Distances from my place to Cape Henlopen Park (9.9miles), Rehoboth Beach (10 miles), Dewey Beach (11 miles). Tanger Outlets (7.8 miles). Please keep in mind that, although the above distances are accurate, driving time may be longer due to seasonal traffic.
The space
The cottage is located 100 feet away from the main house. All big windows have bambu shades. It has a full kitchen with a small dining and living room area; there's a full bedroom with a queen size bed and a great bathroom. Brand new, quiet AC/Heating unit and fridge. Outside, there's a deck and sitting area, outdoor shower, and gas grill. The place is totally independent from the main house. In 2024 we’ve added a fenced backyard for your furry family member!!

Guest access
There’s no cable TV. We stream. Dedicated wifi available. You are welcome to walk around the property all the way up to the line of pine trees passing by the loft and our next door guest house.
Other things to note
Some guests have been under the impression we have a farm. We don’t. We have a vegetable garden patch and free range chickens. Our property isn't fenced. Each one of our Airbnb places has its own fenced yard. There’s an outdoor/indoor cat. A dog live in the property. Our dog is walked on a leash and keeps inside our house.
The chickens and cat free roam all over the property.
Please drive slow when entering the driveway, my cat and chickens hang around the area.
Please keep your dog on a leash at all times if outside the fenced yard.

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located tiny house. 2 miles from the beach! Has everything you need for a relaxing beach getaway. Private fenced in yard. Sleeps up to 4 but is most ideal for 2 adults. It is also kid friendly for small families. Some of the best restaurants in Delaware are within 2 miles. Under 4 miles to Cape Henlopen State Park. Private parking for 2 vehicles. Bus stop 50 yards away which offers a $4 all day pass. Bed sheets, pillow cases and towels not provided.
