This cozy coastal retreat has been recently remodeled with a nod to the mid-century hey-day of the Wildwoods while also including many modern amenities to help make your stay comfortable and worry-free. Located in the attic of one of the Crest’s unique, historical buildings (a twin house reportedly built by brick mason bootlegger brothers in the 1920’s!), this two bedroom apartment accommodates up to five people. Make your own meals in the small but fully equipped eat-in kitchen, though you’re also conveniently located close to great places to eat like Primo’s Hoagies, Lizzie’s Ice Cream, Jellyfish Café, and Britton’s Gourmet Bakery. You’re also within walking distance of nearly everything fun in Wildwood Crest: Centennial Park’s free concerts and Zumba classes, boat cruises, tennis courts, Crest Pier, the library, and even a Laundromat. And of course, it’s just three blocks to the clean, free beaches of the Crest and a 15 minute walk to Wildwood’s famous boardwalk! Bike or drive across the bridge for Cape May’s excellent dining and shopping options, too.
The apartment is cooled by window air conditioner units in the bedroom and living room. (There’s a gas heater for the winter months, too.) For that occasional rainy day, there’s cable TV and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom contains a shower stall but no tub, and access is through one of the bedrooms. An outdoor shower and a clothes line are located in the backyard for your convenience. The backyard is shared with the residents downstairs but is also available to guests for relaxing and grilling. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and beater bicycles are available upon advanced request. Bed spreads, blankets, mattress pads, and pillows are provided; sheets and towels will need to be brought from home (due to issues related to COVID-19). The owners’ parents live at the property and are happy to help if available. The apartment is located up two flights of stairs in case climbing steps is an issue.
Please note that during the summer season, rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.

Well maintained second floor apartment, perfect for that summer getaway. 2.5 short blocks to the beach and 2 longer blocks to the bay. The apartment is in a great location - near enough to everything yet away from the craziness. About this space
Welcome to Crocus by the Sea in Iconic Wildwood Crest! We have 4 apartments we rent all pet friendly and 3 blocks to the beach. Our charming 1st floor 3 bedroom, newly renovated 1st floor 2-bedroom side cottage, 2nd floor 2-bedroom Sea Breeze Bay and 2nd floor 2-bedroom Ocean Serenade. Our house is a 100-year-old home with a Victorian front porch You will have the feeling of a Cape may bed and breakfast only you get the whole apartment BUT with a wonderful beach with no drop off or erosion and its free.
We rent Saturday to Saturday from June 28 to August 23rd. For Barefoot concert weekend there is a 4-night minimum and Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend we have a 3-night minimum. All other times of the year is a 2-night minimum.
All the apartments have been renovated in the last 7 years. New kitchens and baths, central air and washer and dryer etc. Ocean serenade and Sea Breeze Bay have a beautiful porch with rocking chairs and a table for your breakfast lunch or happy hour. You each get you own side of the porch which has ocean views and a nice breeze.
We are walking distance to everything, boardwalk, Playground for kids, bike rentals and the bike path, bakery, ice-cream, church, restaurants. Saturday night entertainment at the parks AND in the summer months there's fireworks every Friday night. New for this year is our enclosed outdoor shower.
Other things to note
We have a 2-dog max with a 25-pound limit per dog. We do not rent to tenants if they are under 25 unless they are with their family as we are a family rental place. And sorry but we don't supply sheets and towels BUT we are partnering with Chrissy from Island best rental to rent sheets towels beach chairs toys for the kids and pretty much anything you need for the beach contact her at chrissy@dontpack.com put the link "Crocus" for a 10% discount. - "Just a couple of blocks from one of the motels we used to stay at when I was a kid (family's been doing vacations there since before I was born!); so a couple of blocks to the beach, a few more from the beginning of the boardwalk, and right near a bike rental. Pete and Beth were excellent; there was a slight snafu with the keybox code (my fault, actually!), but we were able to get in anyway, and they came over that evening to work it out. They let us linger a bit on the last day with zero problem (rented a crib and the owners had some scheduling conflicts, it all worked out nicely!). The apartment was just right; nice size, plenty of room (only three adults, a toddler, and a dog). Everything worked as it should. It was a great place to grab some time away for the very end of the summer, and do a great Wildwood trip (which we try to do every year!)."

Charming seashore apartment with lots of vintage free spiritedness. This is a private apartment in a house from the 1920s andholds that quaint seashore cottage style charm. It’s Cottage core in feel. Fully stocked with linens, cookware, towels, starter coffee essentials-pods, creamer, sugar, toaster, microwave, fridge, Airfryer, and full size oven with lots of work space in the kitchen.

This is a second floor walk up and street parking only. It is centrally located to many businesses/amenities. It is walkable to the beach and boardwalk (about 5 blocks), 2 blocks to the bay. There is a map in my pictures for reference. Parking is free and usually within 1 block of the apartment. All are welcome here.

The apartment has the spirit of more peaceful days. It’s open with amazing breezes and a beautiful garden like backyard to overlook. Our goal in setting it up was to create a feeling of the shore before life got so hectic. Our apartment sleeps 5 and has a smart tv in the living room and both bedrooms, WiFi and dvd player, bring your favorite movies to catmch up on rainy nights. We also have board games, a nice clawfoot tub, or you can enjoy the gas fireplace in the livingroom.

It's nothing fancy, but very clean, comfortable and calming. Window airconditioners are available for comfort in the summer. Updated inverter portable ac unit added to allow more flexibility in enjoying fresh salt air with greater cooling power for the apartment. New queen size mattress in main bedroom and electric baseboard and gas fireplace for cozy nights. The livingroom has been updated for a vintage cozy vibe.

Private covered porch with wicker bench overlooking garden backyard setting. We extended the deck and added wider stairs with a grab bar to make it safer and easier to get upstairs. It is still a steep walk up. We have a small pool! It is 10 feet round and 30 inches deep. Enough to get wet for adults and for young children to splash. It is swim at your own risk and children may not swim without adult supervision at all times. Remember children can down in an inch of water.

Guest access
The apartment is private and dedicated space for guests only. There is a private porch. The backyard is shared with owners who reside downstairs. We will keep some floats and small pool toys available for sharing.

Other things to note
There is a smart tv and roku stick tv as well as WiFi but no cable. We have some children and family DVD’s in the apartment. We also provide sheets 100% cotton, bath towels, and wash cloths. We will launder them as needed to make sure you have a comfortable stay. We do not provide beach towels. There are extra pillows, bedspreads, and blankets in the apartment.

The washer and dryer made it easy for us to wash our clothes and keep them packed away since there was no closet space. The only negative was that there is no oven, but we mainly ate small quick breakfasts, lunch meat sandwiches for lunch and then found dinner on the boardwalk. We definitely would stay here again!"

Welcome to our newly remodeled Crocus by the Sea Side Cottage in Iconic Wildwood Crest. This apartment is on the first floor with its own side door access This apartment has a new kitchen with granite tops, A new feature wall with a fireplace and 65-inch tv in the cathedral ceiling living room, A new bathroom, A new laundry area, A new bar area, and all new furniture, The main bedroom has a queen bed and bedroom 2 also has a queen bed. It has its own private rear deck with private grill area. And there is a new outdoor shower for your use right at your rear deck We have 4 apartments we rent, all pet friendly and 3 blocks to the beach. Our charming 1st floor 3 bed,2nd floor 2 bed Sea Breeze Bay, and 2nd floor 2 bed Ocean Serenade. Our house is a 100-year-old home with a Victorian front porch. You will have the feeling of a Cape may bed and breakfast only you get the whole apartment BUT with a wonderful beach with no drop off or erosion and its free.
We rent Saturday to Saturday from June 28 to August 23. For barefoot concert weekend there is a 4-night minimum and Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend it's a 3-night minimum. Rest of the year 2-night minimums.
All the apartments have been renovated in the last 7 years. New kitchens and baths, central air and washer and dryer etc. Ocean serenade and Sea Breeze Bay have a beautiful porch with rocking chairs and a table for your breakfast, lunch or happy hour. You each get you own side of the porch which has ocean views and a nice breeze.
We are walking distance to everything, boardwalk, Playground for kids, bike rentals and the bike path, bakery, ice-cream, church, restaurants. Saturday night entertainment at the parks AND in the summer months there's fireworks every Friday night.
We have a 2-dog max with a 25-pound limit per dog. And sorry but we don't supply sheets and towels BUT we are partnering with Chrissy from Island best rental to rent sheets towels beach chairs toys for the kids and pretty much anything you need for the beach contact her at chrissy@dontpack.com put the link "Crocus" for a 10% discount. - "This is a small rental, but it’s all you need since it’s in a great location - about 3-4 blocks from the Wildwood Crest beach. The place was clean and ready to go when we got there. We only ran into one issue, the shower would not shut off due to the handle. Although, we got a quick response and it was fixed within a few hours. The backyard is a good size with a small patio on the deck and a shared gazebo. There are also 2 outside showers, they are shared with 2 other property’s but were not the cleanest so we passed on using them. There were only a few small negatives to the place: the bathroom was very small, you had to sit on the toilet at an angle… I’m not sure a bigger person could fit. Another thing was it said towels were included but no hand towels, not even in the bathroom. Thirdly. there are no curtains on the windows, only blinds so the sunlight some through very bright in the morning. Also, we were on the 2nd floor and there is a porch light but no lights on the steps so it gets dark towards the bottom and have to walk down carefully. Lastly, the checkout process was a little involved. For example, it stated to strip the sheets from the bed… I’ve stayed in many rentals and never had to do that. Overall, I’d recommend staying here if you want to be close to the crest beach and just want somewhere to sleep and shower."
