The Russian and South African rooms are part of the Log Country Inn B&B, located 11 miles south of Ithaca. Both rooms are themed and dedicated on our friends and guests from Russia who brought us many souvenirs, as well as our exchange student and his family from South Africa. They are located in the All Welcome in House, which is also connected to the Japanese suite, which has a separate entrance. The listing includes access to a full kitchen, living room, fireplace, and back porch facing 7,000 acres of state forest. For our guests staying 3 days or less, we offer a Polish breakfast in the main house included in the price! The owners of the B&B live on the property and are happy to help during your stay!

This listing is not for everyone. If rustic is not your vibe, please don't book it. I don't want you to wind up disappointed! This is a cheap option for low maintenance travelers - the top bedroom is accesses via a ladder. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea.

The space
The art studio cabin consists of a downstairs studio area along with a rustic, bohemian bedroom upstairs. There is a fold out futon mattress if you bring an extra guest.

There is a Keurig coffee maker in the downstairs room, and a microwave, French press and kettle, and an induction stovetop in the upstairs room.

This is a rustic space - a step up from camping - an affordable, easy place to crash after a long day of hiking or when passing through town. For those looking for something more luxurious, this is not the right fit.

This particular space is suitable for low maintenance, independent, low budget travelers who are looking to stay on a unique bohemian property and have a cute, rustic place to spend the night. If this is your vibe, you will love this cabin. If it's not - you'll complain and be unhappy. Let's please avoid that.

This situation is not the right fit for everyone, so consider carefully what kind of experience you are looking for before committing to book. I want to maintain my superhost status and if you book this and what you really want is a hotel room, then you are going to be disappointed.

There is no bathroom in the cottage, guests must use the bathroom in the main house which is 14 steps from the studio. This means you need to walk 14 steps to the bathroom which is in a different building.

There is a ladder type staircase that you need to climb to access the art studio bedroom. If you don't feel comfortable climbing a ladder, this may not be the best fit.

Guest access
You will have access to the studio and to the bathroom in the main house. You are also welcome to use any common patio or porch areas on the property.

Other things to note
The property is located on one acre of land nestled between two busy roads. It can get a little noisy at times during 'rush hour' periods.

There is a cat who lives on the property. His name is Blue and he is extremely friendly. He sometimes comes over to visit, and I see guests let him in all the time to hang out - so if you're allergic to cats, I would not recommend booking this space.

Ultimately this particular space is suitable for low maintenance, independent, low budget travelers who are looking to stay on a unique bohemian property and have a cute, rustic place to spend the night.

A gem in the heart of Fall Creek, one of the most treasured neighborhoods in Ithaca! Perfect location for those visiting Cornell and for walking and exploring gorges and waterfalls. Walking distance to local shops and restaurants, including the Commons and Moosewood!

The space
A quiet and cozy retreat-like space, the Cottage is a recently-renovated standalone studio apt. Originally a carriage house, its hardwood floors and lofted ceiling with hanging fan make it feel bigger on the inside than the outside, and the kitchen's bay window provides natural light for you (and the plants).

There is one queen bed. For more than two guests, we can offer the couch and an air mattress (on request) for sleeping. Extra sheets for these are in the basket near the bathroom door, and we're happy to make them up with advance notice. Note that as a studio, there's no partition between those areas.

Guest access
The Cottage sits at the back of our property; we live in the main house. Access to both houses is via a gate in the fence around our yard. You will walk through our garden to access the entrance to the Cottage. It's not complicated and clearly marked, but we can meet you at check-in to ensure your comfort and understanding in how to gain access - or you can check in on your own if you prefer.

Other things to note
Late check-out is usually OK if we don't have an incoming guest the same day.

This tiny home cabin set on our 34 acre family farm backed by
the fingerlakes trail and state lands. Three rooms, a small kitchen/sitting room, a private bath and a bedroom with a full size bed. Everything for a perfect get away in the country

The space
Come sit on the porch and watch the birds. In your own little space just for two. Light the grill and have a barbecue. Just sit back and enjoy a natural setting. 15 minutes from downtown Ithaca.

Guest access
Come see the water falls in the area. Taste the wine of the fingerlakes and the many great restrants of the area. Enjoy a pieceful quit evening around the fire pit or cook out on the grill.

Other things to note
We love the quiet beautiful life of the farm. We can totally disconnect and relax on the porch or drive 15 minutes in to Ithaca. Where there is always something to do. There are so many places to go from here Ithaca, Owego, and Watkins Glen. Come enjoy the wine trails, ice cream trail and the art trail. Due to allergies we can not have animals in the cabin.

This eclectic home features a large country kitchen with an outdoor deck. Within a mile is access to a nature center and long rail trail for biking/hiking. Only two miles from lake swimming and hiking in a State park and only 12 minutes drive to downtown Ithaca. Or head north and check out the many award winning wineries, breweries, cideries and distilleries in the region, many of which feature great food and music.

Honeyberry Hill is situated on a side road midway between Upper and Lower Treman Park entrances., seven miles from downtown Ithaca. The Study is a quiet room with a queen-sized bed on the second floor. It shares a bathroom.

The space
Guests are welcome to use the wrap-around deck where they can relax in the evening or have coffee in the morning. There is a dorm-sized refrigerator in the dining room for the use of guests, as well as a Keurig coffee maker. Bottled water and tea are also available. "The Retreat" is a second-floor bedroom with king-sized bed, sitting area, and a private bathroom. It is located up a separate staircase, thus is relatively private although there is not a separate entrance to the house for this space.

Honeyberry Hill is a haven for travelers, situated just seven miles south of Ithaca, New York in gentle hills near Robert Treman State Park. Located midway between New York City and Niagara Falls in the Fingerlakes Region, the area is known for its colleges and its wines.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to enjoy common areas downstairs, including the quiet room I call “The Library,” the living room, children’s playroom with piano, and dining area as well as the deck. Children must be supervised if enjoying the swings and treehouse. While there is a dorm-sized refrigerator for guests’ exclusive use as well as a Keurig coffee maker , the kitchen itself is reserved for the hosts. A full-sized refrigerator may be reserved by request (no additional charge). The barns are off-limits unless accompanied by the hosts.

During your stay
I am retired and home full time, so I am available to help you as needed throughout your stay. NOTE that I have been fully vaccinated for the Corona virus COVID 19 as of March 2 (Moderna).

The Dining Area is centered in a sunroom adjacent to the spacious kitchen, with views overlooking the garden. A wrap-around deck offers additional seating in fine weather. While breakfast ranges from eggs from our chickens to waffles and blueberry pancakes, with your choice and hour determined beforehand, other offerings including homemade granola with local yogurt and homemade biscotti are available at any hour. Free Wifi but no television and limited air conditioning. I have no indoor pets - only chickens at this time. I use nuts and wheat in preparing food. Note that all exterior entrances are covered by security cameras.

There are hiking trails behind the house, access to a back porch, and plenty of space around the house for relaxation. We've been operating our Bed and Breakfast since 1987! This room is one of the most peaceful spaces on the property. It is an upstairs bedroom with access to the loft and its own private balcony overlooking our fishponds and forest. We are located right on the edge of state forest and only 11 miles South of Ithaca College and 14 miles away from Cornell University.

The space
This room has king size bed, a clawfoot tub, shower, mini fridge and access to the common room with television. It is located in the main house of the Bed and Breakfast so there is no kitchen access. There is however access to the yoga and sauna space in this house by reservation. Traditional Polish breakfast is included with your stay when you stay 3 nights or less!

We have a friendly dog named Zuch who is 14 years old and two cats, Tula and Guyu who live on the property as well.

Frog’s Way has two bright and cheerful South-facing bedrooms, one full bathroom, kitchen/living room. We provide a healthy, delicious selection of organic, local and homemade breakfast foods to our guests during their stay. The B&B has its own entrance.

Each bedroom has a queen size bed, gorgeous homemade quilts, a desk/dresser unit, wireless Internet connection, and a resource library on the many facets of healthful and sustainable living. Each bedroom also includes a wealth of resources about Ithaca, the Finger Lakes, and EcoVillage at Ithaca, including maps, guides, and brochures you can take with you and return.

Our full-service kitchen gives you the freedom to prepare breakfast or your own food at any time, especially if you want stay for a few days or a week. It includes two mini refrigerators (one for breakfast foods and one for your own food), microwave, stovetop, toaster, coffee maker, tea maker, and cooking and eating utensils.

The kitchen is also a living room/playroom for relaxation and recreation. It's stocked with many board games, nature treasures, and a DVD player, and can be used as an indoor dining option. Its futon couch, convertible to a very comfortable bed, provides another sleeping option. The room also includes a library, magazines, and yoga mats.

Breakfast options, nearly all organic, and locally sourced or “fair trade”, include: Varied white and whole wheat bagels, cold cereals including our homemade granola, oatmeal, yogurt, low-fat cream cheese, butter, healthy margarine, homemade berry jams, milk, fruits, fair trade coffees, and a wide choice of teas. We gladly accommodate vegan, gluten-free, low carb, and other diets.

While the overall shared space is compact, guests can take advantage of multiple outdoor spaces such as village picnic tables, our backyard, village playgrounds, library, game rooms, and trails.

While the B&B is a separate floor from our home, we make ourselves available for any needs you have, including information linked to our many connections in the Ithaca/Finger Lakes area, the local colleges, and Ecovillage.

The Gazebo is a delightful and private eight sided glass suite. It is a secluded, romantic, dreamy space and just the spot for a getaway. We are located in a residential neighborhood, four blocks from the downtown Ithaca Commons (Great restaurants! Fun shopping!) and a 20 minute walk to the Cornell Campus. The reservation includes a daily full breakfast delivered to you, on and off street parking, and probably some attention from Olive, the Inn's resident pup.

Our Inn consists of a collection of private spaces. The Gazebo is the most private and delightful of the spaces and we invite you to explore it. This unique suite is a true octagon.
