- "The uniqueness of each room yet modern kitchen were enjoyable. " - "The judge’s room is very comfortable and well appointed. we would definitely stay here again." - "We have stayed here several times. The rooms are all themed / decorated differently. Henry (the owner) has tailored each room in a tasteful manner that reflects the building’s era. If you have good hearing, I would not recommend booking rooms on the lower levels, the floors are wood and if a child or dog is playing on the floor above, well you are going to hear it. "

💙 Our Story
Tuttle Point has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From early mornings fishing with my grandparents to late nights by the campfire, my love for river life runs deep.
Before I owned this home, I spent years visiting family on the peninsula, making lifelong memories on what locals call "the island." I knew I had to have my own piece of paradise here.
Every detail in Tuttle Point House was carefully chosen. The driftwood in the dining room? I found it on the shore years before I moved here, knowing one day it would come home.
In 2018, my dream became reality. The house was just a shell, but we transformed it into a beautiful, modern retreat. You’ll even find a book inside that documents our renovation journey!
We hope you love Tuttle Point House as much as we do and create unforgettable memories here.
- "This is a beautiful house in a private setting on the water. We so enjoyed being able to fish off the dock and keep our fishing boat docked for our week stay. We were so thankful for the kayaks to go out and explore the water where the boat couldn't. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we could've needed and more. The weight room in the lower level is an added bonus our teenagers enjoyed so they could keep up their workouts. Brittany's added touches of fresh flowers for our arrival day was such a beautiful surprise - and she is a great communicator so we were confident ifwe needed anything she was"

- "Good" - "The home was perfect for us and would recommend it." - "Ideal location for a sweet retreat with a view of the St. Lawrence! We went from Ottawa with friends and our little kids and had a barbecue dinner - gas provided by the host - on the spacious deck. There are a few animals (goats, chickens) who are fenced off far enough from the house that you can see and hear them, but they're not in your space or smelly. We saw virtually no mosquitoes during our three-day stay in late July. The owners are friendly and responsive to questions, and even gave us fresh eggs for breakfast and again to take home! The private rock beach across the road is great for boating or dipping your feet in the beautiful river, and it has a couple fire pits. There's one fire pit behind the house, too, and they provide wood for the fire. The appliances in the house such as dishwasher are new, the water pressure in the shower was excellent and the bed in the basement was comfortable! This little hobby farm is secluded and idyllic, but only a five-minute drive from the town of Prescott if you want to shop! We went to a cafe for ice cream and baked goods and enjoyed Centennial Park in town."

- "The house was all we hoped for and more. It was such a lovely and comfortable home for our combined families to enjoy for a long weekend. So many rooms allowed us all to spread out, and the entertainment space in the lowest level, with huge TV, bar seating and pool table was great for us all to gather together. Bedrooms were very comfortable and the younger ones especially enjoyed the bunk bed room. Bathrooms were nicely updated and 11 of us managed just fine with 2.5 baths. Kitchen had all we needed and had the most stunning views. The whole back of the house offered the most gorgeous views and sunshine. Several access doors to the backyard, dock and river. We loved the large hot tub, morning coffee on the deck, and hunting for sea glass at the water’s edge. Also enjoyed the house’s proximity to walking trails, the grocery store and town shops and restaurants. It was perfect spot all around! We also appreciated the personal communication from the owners and that they provided many things we needed (towels, tissues, toilet paper, hand soap, etc.)."

And the alpacas on top of all that! We were instantly in love. We had an amazing trip and cannot thank our hosts enough. Would recommend this spot to anyone!" - "This place is clean, has a beautiful farmland view, sunsets and of course:the Alpacas make it a truly beautiful experience! Spacious and kitchen well equipped, dishwasher, dishes, plenty of cutlery and glasses-we were thrilled with the space! Being elevated allowed us to have an even better view of the surroundings and alpacas. Corina is a superb host with excellent communication. My husband and I have an extensive background in hospitality and were very impressed with this property and the thought that went into it. There is no detail left untouched and the cabin itself is divine. As life often does, our plans changed due to unforeseen circumstances, more than once. Corina was flexible and very accommodating. NOTE: You must agree to all terms listed in the GRG link in the Policies->House Rules section below BEFORE booking. Some guests have not done so and upon arriving were surprised to know they needed to bring their own bed linens, towels, etc. I can provide such items for a nominal fee but it's best you bring them yourself. If desired, please visit my Cottages in Canada dot com site (navigate to Brockville page as I can't give URL here) for more info.
Welcome and thanks for visiting my page! The river is a walk of less than 4 min south. Just over a staggering 2000 sq ft (this does not include the basement which is off limits), the VV is ideal for large groups. It is also a great choice for your vacation destination. This townhouse has all the coziness of a cottage with friendly neighbours ... one of which is MYSELF! ;o) How many STR properties can claim that? Situated in the heart of Brockville's historical district, you will be immersed in the architectural splendour of the 1800s! Leave your car in the driveway as you walk to all the amazing amenities this world-renowned Thousand Islands city has to offer.
Your visit will begin with a smile as you read the metal plate on the front door. No, I won't tell you what it says as it's more fun to find that out when you get here! Once inside you will bask in the majesty of 19th century England with soaring 11ft ceilings and regal features. Many rooms have chandeliers and exquisite woodworking with ginger breading, rosettes, wainscotting etc being evident throughout. Built in 1884 (ie horse-drawn wagons brought the lumber, iron and stone used to build it!), this is a house Charles Dickens himself would have been proud to call home! Most of the furniture is period accurate and reflect the stylings seen on YouTube channels like "This House". Don't be fooled though! You will get the best of both worlds as you enjoy the wi-fi and 55" TV (with 7.1 surround sound stereo) along with other modern conveniences like a fully equipped kitchen.
Grab the baskets from the front coat closet and take them across the street for a picnic in the park! Even if you don't, the east side of the house looks out onto that space's beautiful trees with the sun shining through them in the mornings. Sit in peace on the balcony amid the front yard trees with sour cherry-laden branches or relax on the wood deck.
Even if you don't stay at the VV, please consider us for your next visit and enjoy your stay in the Thousand Islands area!
- "tons of charm, made our stay in Brockville feel extra special" - "June and I spent most of our time in the area sight seeing and touring the 1000 islands. And the local 1000 islands brewery. The house was the prefect location and a great place to come home to. I’m sure Dave will invest in a new toaster as the one in the kitchen only toasted in one side. That was the only thing that I can fault, and that said if I had mentioned it to Dave I’m sure he would’ve had a replacement there before the coffee was ready."

Honeybee Haven is a fully renovated Anglican Church hall nestled on a 1/4 acre lot located beside our home, a renovated Anglican Church originally built in 1991.
The church hall started out as a forgotten and neglected previous community gathering space. We have spent hundreds of hours over the last four years updating everything from the electrical, plumbing, septic, insulation and roof to create a unique and welcoming space.
From the hall's feature wall in the living room, repurposing the 140 year old planed and refinished floor from the church, to the meticulously detailed ceilings in each room, we hope you will be delighted with the small details and thought we have lovingly incorporated into each aspect of the space.
Keeping the integrity of the original boy's and girl's bathrooms, the indoor shower and bathroom are separate spaces. The kitchen provides all the modern amenities necessary to prepare delicious meals.
Comfortable queen size beds with a variety of pillows and blankets will guarantee a restful and refreshing sleep
Curl up with a movie or book, view the stars on the deck, gather to play some board games, BBQ on the gas grill, experience an outdoor shower (there really is nothing like it!) or enjoy everything the area has to offer such as endless places to kayak, hundreds of kms of ATV, snowmobile, skiing and snowshoeing trails, hiking, nearby Thousand Islands National Park, fishing, swimming, cross-boarder shopping or plan to head north for a day trip to the capital! the possibilities are endless!
Please Note:
We live in the church located on the same property as the church hall, and are happy to chat with guests to answer any questions or address any concerns.
All dogs must be house trained. When outside, please keep them on leash at all times and we ask that you clean up after them (bags are provided and there is a dedicated garbage can outside).

The washer and dryer are located in the room next to the kitchen.
You have exclusive access to the lower level. This is NOT a shared interior space unlike the funny commercial on television lol. There is asy access to your vacation accommodation from parking area via outside stairs. If you have mobility issues you can often park in an area that provides you level access to this accommodation i.e. no stairs. As mentioned, you live below my residence although all windows & doors are full height & ceiling is sound proof. If you like to smoke or party hard, please rent somewhere else.
Your vacation accommodation has a shoreline sitting area with a picnic table on the east side of the property next to a beautiful waterfront garden. On the west side of the riverfront 75 feet past the swing set and children’s slide is a shared screened porch and shared beach area and shared dock and huge shared sand pile. Sometimes the owner will drop by for a brief 10 minute swim for his bad back and sometimes other guests are there on occasion. The owners of your unit live above your vacation walk-out (NOT other guests), however we are usually away at work or at the rink or basketball court most of the time and in the summer we will be hiking/camping in our free time. The ceiling has sound resistant insulation,
BBQ on site. Ammmmazing swimming. Complimentary use of kayaks with paddles and necessary life preservers. Lessons for beginners important & should be booked with us in advance. Bring your own fishing boat. No large boats. Public boat launch nearby with deep water moorage for huge boats.
Presently you enter through a patio door. You can lock your valuables in the rear storage room. Keep in mind you do have to walk through the 2nd bedroom to access the master bedroom.
You have access to the entire lower level except access to utility room is on request only.
Other things to note
For information detailed info and a list of their many attractions and amenities for the 2 towns to the west, please research Town of Prescott and City of Brockville aka the City of the 1000 Islands. For attractions to the east, please see below.....
Information about South Dundas and especially Iroquois
The shopping centre/strip mall in Iroquois has numerous amenities: the Royal Bank, the Foodland grocery store featuring fresh meat, fresh vegetables and a bakery. Others include 2 convenience stores, LCBO, restaurants including Yefsi’s, a pizzeria, Chiropractor clinic, full service Pharmacy & a few specialty stores. Other amenities in the town include a gas station/car wash/laundromat and huge hardware store, Thompson’s TIMBR MART with some of the best service in eastern Ontario.
Yefsi’s is the finest local restaurant with a cross section of Canadian and foreign cuisine. The Orchard Restaurant in Morrisburg, part of the McIntosh Inn & Convention Centre has a terrific Friday and Saturday buffet and a terrific a-la-carte menu. Numerous small restaurants such as the Alibi at the Iroquois Golf Club offer simple but good home-cooked style food. And of course, Cornwall and Brockville, both a 30-minute drive have many fine eateries as well as small specialty stores and big chain stores of all kinds! And Ottawa’s fine eateries are only 55 minutes north. 2 hours east of course, le voila, Montreal’s best restaurants.
Iroquois has a small airstrip for propeller planes, a great marina, lawn bowling, an RV Park, as well as an outdoor rink. The town is home to the first locks on the Seaway east of Lake Ontario. It is truly fascinating to watch the big ships go through the locks. Occasionally you will see an ocean-going cruise ship and some incredible private boats & old-fashioned tall ship. Check out the amazing snack bar at the locks! Approximately one km east of the locks is one of the most beautiful local beaches and waterfront swimming in the area-crystal clear water too! The sand beach compares to some beaches in some of the nicest resorts. There are washrooms to change and a volleyball net for the kids as well as markers indicating the swimming area. Paradise, and free too!
If you like to golf, there are 18-hole golf courses across the nearby bridge in the Ogdensburg area, Prescott, Morrisburg, Upper Canada and of course Iroquois’s terrific waterfront golf course, with on-site restaurant, the Alibi.
Two Creeks Conservation Area provides excellent walking trails. Upper Canada Village just east of Morrisburg is a day trip in itself comprising a collection of buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. The buildings are decorated with Christmas lights during Alight the Night festival in December and early January. The Upper Canada Bird Sanctuary offers a quiet getaway for not just the birds!
2024 is our 3rd summer renting. Please see our rave reviews on other public websites or contact us and we can forward you some reviews/referrals.
Welcome to our fantastic waterfront getaway.
- "The pictures tell it all! The place was clean and spacious, with all the comforts of home!! The property was beautiful with a lot to offer. Chairs and picnic tables by the water, kayaks available, lawn games to enjoy, and the perfect spot for swimming and fishing off the dock. The host was thorough and easy to communicate with. It's a peaceful and relaxing location, one we highly suggest coming to!" - "Perfect for our family gathering. Thanks to Randy"

DETAILS
A charming tree-lined entrance greets you as you enter the Johnson Riverlee Estate from County Road #2. The Adams family owned the residence for over 100 years. The majestic five-bedroom stone home was built in the early 1800s. It is situated on three acres of land and has a beautiful panoramic waterfront view. You can observe the big ships just south of the off-shore island and from the shoreline you have a terrific view of the Ogdensburg/Prescott International bridge to the west.
The stately residence has a lovely eat-in kitchen, spacious formal dining room, huge living room and two updated full bathrooms, an upstairs 4-piece bathroom that was completely refurbished in 2020 and a main level 3-piece bathroom. There are four spacious bedrooms on the second floor and a main level bedroom for elderly guests. Your guests will be impressed with the calibre of the accommodation. Old-world charm with modern conveniences starting with cable television as well as hi-speed cable internet / wifi that is phenomenal.
The flooring in the home consists of mainly turn-of-the-century pine as well as oak hardwood in the living room. The bathrooms have beautiful Allure flooring and the kitchen has a truly unique floor! There are NO carpets in this home. Laundry facilities also available on site.
Many updates have been done to the building over the years including re-pointing all the exterior stone work as well as aluminum soffit and fascia. There is beautiful oak hardwood flooring in the living room and main hall as well as pine floors in the grand dining room and all five bedrooms. There is a new 200 amp breaker service, new wiring, new plumbing, and a newer furnace. In the spring of 2006 we restored the upstairs of the home: We added new interior walls, vapour barrier, drywall and new bedroom closets and restored the beautiful pine floors. In 2008 we renovated the kitchen and the kitchen cupboards. We also added central air conditioning to keep you cool for those hot days of summer.
The home is fully equipped, having all modern conveniences including stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, colour television, and fully-loaded satellite dish last but not least, a coffee maker. We have suitable lawn furniture, however if you have a favourite lawn chair you may want to bring it along.

Daily or occasional cleaning service can be arranged upon request, at a slight extra charge, depending on your requirements.
EXTERIOR SPACE
The Riverlee Estate is located in a picturesque shallow bay, with very little boat traffic as the bay ends approximately one half km east of the home. The shipping channel is 2.5 kilometres offshore. Therefore there is little chance of someone being swamped in a kayak/canoe by the waves of a 1000 foot freighter. Bring your fishing rod, the fishing ranges from good to great! And the clear water swimming is amazing. No seaweed!
There is a massive yard area just to the east of the driveway that is level and flat, ideal for frisbee, croquet, baseball, football or….. In the fall of 2010 we built a huge patio near the 4-6 person hot tub to the west of the home. The interlock patio can hold a few dozen people to accommodate large family gatherings or small get together. We have hosted a few small wedding over the years. Pretty gardens and mature trees punctuate the landscape. Over the years we have planted a dozen evergreen trees as well as many other varieties including oak, maple, and birch trees. All this investment has brought the property back up to the five-star accommodation it was many years ago, and will be yours to enjoy summer after spring, winter after autumn. We are positive you will like the home so much that you will want to come back again!
From the huge 25 x 40 ft patio, it is a 250 ft walk down a gentle slope to the waterfront. Upon request, you are welcome to drive elderly guests down the hidden laneway to the waterfront picnic/dock area. The waterfront has a natural small rock retaining wall that has an opening to access both the fishing dock and the waterfront to swim. If the water is low, there is small beach area. If the water level is high there is a large sandy area near the dock area for the kids to play. There is a small storage building where you can retrieve the kayak/canoe paddles and life preservers. The kayaks are mounted on a storage rack. Some are newer, some are older. There is also a screened porch and a large canopy and tall tree to shade you from the afternoon sun. And of course there is the secondary fire pit for a waterfront night time fire. And there are two play structures for the little ones including a tree fort and swings. We also have a grass volleyball/badminton court. Volleyballs on-site! We usually have a few badminton racquets, baseball mitts, water guns, an inflatable water raft, sand toys & more!
Take advantage of a canoe or kayak ride to the off-shore islands. Most are uninhabited and home to many small animals and deer. You will feel like you are a pioneer back in the 1700s! FYI: Years ago, the Adams family used to bring their cows to Spencer Island, the closest large island each spring by swimming them across the shallow channel behind a small power boat. Therefore the nickname of the main island, Cow Island!
We may have some fishing gear on site, however cannot guarantee this. Fishing permits are available (nominal fee for Ontario residents/more for out of province/country) at the local McEwen gas bar, a short distance away, located near the International bridge.
We suggest you bring your own flashlight as well as a barbecue lighter for the barbecue and outdoor fire pits. There is one next to the patio and one by the river. Technically you need a permit to burn outdoors which can be approved on a few minutes notice-we will fill you in on details. Bonfires are therefore out of the question! You also need to bring some kindling. We usually have a limited quantity of firewood and often we will have a limited supply of kindling. If we run out of firewood there is a nearby place you can purchase it.
LOCATION
Although we are six kilometres from the highway, we have a central location to four major cities, easily accessible by automobile. Kingston is an hour west and Toronto is 3.5 hours west. We are an hour south of Ottawa and less than two hours east of us to Montreal, 90 minutes from Montreal/Dorval Airport.
There is also a bridge to the United States 2 km west. This rural part of America is home to beautiful landscapes and many tourist attractions.
The Great Lakes freighters pass by far across the river near the U.S. shore, and are lit up like Christmas trees at night. There are spectacular sunrises over the offshore islands. Occasionally the sunset will light up the islands in red or pink with their reflection on the mirror-like water. The spring tulips are beautiful and the incredible autumn colours are spectacular, depending on the exact week you rent and how quickly Mother Nature turns the colours of the leaves.
For nature lovers there is excellent bird watching along the shore and in the local wooded areas. The host of birds includes woodpeckers, cardinals and the awesome local blue heron. Be sure to feed the baby ducks!

- "it was A-Awesome from the get go...from the 1st message to Randy! I can't say enough on what an awesome host Randy is! Answered all questions and provided all details and more importantly he himself kept reminding us to have fun and enjoy ourselves! Property and location was super and infact the listing is modest when compared to what it delievered! The lake/river, water craft/toys and other toys kept eveyone engaged, active and did i tell about the hottub??? All in all, we got more than we bargained for in a very good way! Would we recommend the place to anyone? A-Absolutely!"
