The village of Alexandria Bay is one mile away, where there is shopping and restaurants galore. Boldt Castle and Singer Castle can be toured via Uncle Sams Boat Tours. Walk across the Thousand Islands Bridge!! It's a once in a lifetime thing to do while you're here! Information is available on the Thousand Islands Bridge website.

Swim in the St. Lawrence River. Access it from the Scenic View Park off of Sisson Street in Alexandria Bay, NY. There is a public beach there. Or you can take a trip to Clayton, NY and swim off the shore at Frink Park!

Carnegie Bay Cottage is a luxurious year-round home with central air conditioning and heating. The kitchen features custom granite countertops and is well-appointed with a stainless steel refrigerator, built-in ice maker, stainless steel induction stove, and built-in microwave. Additional amenities include a Keurig coffee maker, a 10-cup coffee maker, a 4-slice toaster, blenders, crockpots, a bartender set, pantry items, bakeware, and more.

The dining table seats 8 and 5 more on the kitchen island. The living room includes a stereo HD TV with a dish and internet—the office stores books and games. The bedrooms consist of large closets and ceiling fans. We have new front-load washers & dryers on the first and ground floors.

The property features ample parking for cars, boat trailers, and dock space for boats and jet skis. The house is on a private 1-acre lot within walking distance of restaurants and nightlife.

Alexandria Bay offers a wide variety of activities within a short distance. Remodeled downstairs studio apartment with a nice size porch to sit on and a back yard that leads right to the St. Lawrence River. This rental is less than a five minute walk to downtown Alexandria Bay! Your finest restaurants, shops, night entertainment etc. One door down is JP’s Marine that offers boat rentals, a fully stocked ship store with all your boating and non boating needs including ice, beer, soda, water, Hershey's Ice Cream and other snack items.

The Heron Cottage is a beautiful loft style one bedroom cottage with a stone fireplace overlooking the river. It has a queen size bed upstairs. Downstairs there is a queen size pull out sofa with a memory foam mattress. It has a full kitchen with a refrigerator/freezer, farmhouse apron sink, range, dishwasher, coffee maker, tea kettle, and microwave. There is an HDTV with Directv satellite television.
On the outdoor deck there is a grill and dining table with chairs to enjoy summer grilling. There is a firepit with Adirondack chairs for enjoying smores with the family.
Luxury shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap are provided by Beekman 1802. The beds are made with fresh linens. Bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths are also provided.
Everything is prepped and ready to make your vacation relaxing and comfortable. Just bring yourself!
- Welcome to The Ledges Resort & Marina! We are located directly on the St. Lawrence River across from Boldt Castle. We have views of the castle, Sunken Rock Lighthouse, and the main shipping channel. There are decks, docks, hammocks, and gazebos all across our six-acre property. You will find many beautiful spots to relax, read a book, take a walk, or go fishing. We have a large in-ground pool and deck area. Every cottage has its own fire-pit where you can warm up under the stars. We even provide the firewood! There are plenty of open lawn areas to play catch, lawn games, or just take a walk.
The Ledges offers a peaceful getaway with six acres of landscaped grounds along the water. While the grounds provide privacy and lots of space, we are not in a remote location. It’s a quick and easy walk downtown Alexandria Bay. We are close to all of the attractions. At the Ledges you have the best of both worlds, relaxation and convenience!

When you are in need of some fresh air, the outdoor screened in front porch is where you want to be! With the beautiful St Lawrence River just down the street. There is also a large backyard with a grill available.

★ GUEST ACCESS ★
The cottage is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. The drive to us is easy, and beautiful!
★ OTHER THINGS TO NOTE ★

PARKING: There is a car port which can fit one maybe two cars without blocking the sidewalk. There is also free street parking.
ACCESS: The front door has an electronic lock. You will be provided the door code on the day of arrival.

TRAVELING AROUND THE AREA: There is a FREE transportation service called the Chug Wagon that serves the 1000 islands area, you can get their contact information online. Other than that, there are no taxis or rideshare services in the area. So, driving a personal vehicle or boating to locations is your best bet!

OUTDOOR GRILL: There is a gas grill on the deck for your use.

TRASH: Trash containers are located on the side of the front porch, along with recycling receptacles

CHECK IN/OUT: We do not typically offer late check out or early check in due to high occupancy. If by chance we can accommodate, we will.

WHAT TO BRING: We provide toilet paper, laundry detergent, sponge and dish detergent, trash bags, paper towels, Linens, pillows, blankets, games, some coffee and tea selections

Ice, soaps, shampoos, toiletries, condiments, are NOT provided.

SMOKING: This is a NON-SMOKING/VAPING cabin. If you smoke/vape inside the cabin you will be charged $250, plus an increase to the cleaning fee, and any damages.

PARTIES: NO parties allowed at this house. You will be charged an additional $250, plus an increase to the cleaning fee, and be asked to leave immediately.

PETS: Pets are allowed! We do charge a $100 pet fee per stay.

OCCUPANCY: Maximum Permitted Occupancy is 6.

CELL & INTERNET: Cell Phone Signal is great but you may also pick up Canadian cell towers.
CAMERA: There is a security camera located on the outside of the home, which is turned on at all times.

We do provide access to high speed internet at this location.

WEATHER: We do NOT offer refunds for weather or natural disasters. We suggest purchasing trip insurance.

Owner/Host is NOT responsible for accidents or injuries.

- "We like staying in this home particularly because of it's location. You can walk around Alexandria Bay, enjoy the sights and walk back to a home that has all the amenities you need. We love the washer and dryer that are there so we don't go home with dirty clothes. We appreciate the yard for the dogs to wander around in (on their runners.) We love the game room and front porch for fun and relaxing. The home has a/c for when you need it and windows to open for the breeze when you don't. Great place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay again this year."
