Welcome to our charming and adorable 1900 craftsman bungalow. It has been completely remodeled and updated from top to bottom, and has the charm of an old home with the modern conveniences of a new one. Just 2 minutes to town and the lake, and a short drive to apple orchards, pumpkin patches and the finger lakes wine trails. There is also a nature trail and playground in walking distance as well as a brewery and distillery. Perfect for families or couples. We have a great sitting area on the porch to watch the sunrise and outdoor eating area in the backyard equipped with grill to enjoy the sunset. The home is equipped with cable, wifi, smart tv's to access netflix and amazon prime, and games and books for adults and kids. There are 2 bedrooms with comfortable queen size beds. We know you will enjoy being here as much as we do!

The Carriage House is close to the village of Skaneateles and its beautiful lake. While several restaurants and Mirbeau Spa are right across the street, we're roughly a 5-10 minute walk to all other restaurants, shops, grocery store; as well as a short drive to wineries, distilleries, hiking, etc. Great for couples, groups, and families. Washer and drier in the unit. Outdoor grill and an acre of private land available.

Comfortable linens and towels provided, kitchen stocked with lots of basic ingredients. The cottage-feel will settle you right into vacation mode!

It is a very private, second-floor, 1,000 sq ft apartment. Master bedroom queen bed sleeps 2. Guest bedroom with two twin beds sleeps 2. Sleeper sofa in living room sleeps 2.

Very short drive to downtown. Would not be a safe walk as the house is on a busy highway, although it is a short distance to town. Loved it! The open concept floor plan, with BRAND NEW eat-in kitchen and living room, is perfect for a wine tour weekend getaway or a week-long family vacation. The breathtaking views from the deck are great for relaxing while enjoying your morning coffee, or winding down with a glass of wine watching the sunset. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a king bed, while the second bedroom includes a queen & a twin bed. The bathroom (completely gutted and remodeled in 2016) has a tub & shower.

- "I absolutely loved this house. It was breathtaking to drive up to see a sweet house surrounded by woods with the lake in the background. What was even more breathtaking was to actually walk into the house and see the lake in all its glory theough the wall of windows. I never tired of the view and the peacefulness and had I been able to swing it with flights etc I would’ve eagerly extended the stay. The house has everything you need, the kitchen is well stocked, there’s a washer and a dryer and a very good choice of kayaks, paddleboards, oars, life jackets, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the second bedroom looked really cute. I honestly cannot express to you what a sense of peace this property gave me. Skaneateles is a gorgeous 15 minute drive away, Dougs Fish Fry was awesome, went twice. The town is just as beautiful as the first time I happened upon it 7 years ago. Do drive the lovely one hour drive to Ithaca Farmers Market, you won’t regret it I promise! But do it early in your stay so you can take advantage of the all fresh produce, pies, cheese and flowers. I will definitely be bringing my husband to this house within the next year. The only negative I can possibly think of - and this is being SUPER picky - is that I would suggest to update the two leather couches to upholstered couches and possibly move the tv to another wall for easier viewing. But again, this is me being excessively picky! ;) The house and the lake are sublime."
