The Carriage House is close to the village of Skaneateles and its beautiful lake. While several restaurants and Mirbeau Spa are right across the street, we're roughly a 5-10 minute walk to all other restaurants, shops, grocery store; as well as a short drive to wineries, distilleries, hiking, etc. Great for couples, groups, and families. Washer and drier in the unit. Outdoor grill and an acre of private land available.

Comfortable linens and towels provided, kitchen stocked with lots of basic ingredients. The cottage-feel will settle you right into vacation mode!

It is a very private, second-floor, 1,000 sq ft apartment. Master bedroom queen bed sleeps 2. Guest bedroom with two twin beds sleeps 2. Sleeper sofa in living room sleeps 2.

This quaint, pet friendly (with owner permission and security deposit) cottage is one mile from center of Skaneateles village-easy walking distance. It's located on a private lane, Lane "F", approximately 400 feet from Skaneateles Lake-no roads to cross. The cottage is surrounded by trees. The cottage, with a 2 minute stroll down Lane "F" lane, to the lake, includes a separate, private porch (rustic red building shown in photo) right on the lake-great for cocktails, sunsets, etc. Please note: The red cottage at water's edge is storage only. You will be staying is in the browish cottage which is detailed in the pictures. The reddish cottage shows your lake access. There is a 2 minute walk between the cottage you stay in and your private lake access.
The lakefront is level, has its own dock, and has a gradualsa slope-great for swimming for all ages. The lane is tree lined-very private. The cottage is heated,. The cottage can accommodate, beds for, 4 people, and has wi-fi and cable.

That is exactly what we we were looking for—privacy, quiet, and a peaceful natural area with birds and our special rabbit whom we saw frequently. We loved the dock area and spent a lot of time there just looking at the lake. We took our boards and kayak out every day to explore the beautiful, clean waters of the lake. It was a wonderful experience. The cabin was comfortable and clean, with all necessities provided. I appreciated the coffee-table book about the Finger Lakes, which made me think about the history of the region and its progressive communities. The back porch and campfire area were also comfy, and we used them a lot. I hope that cabins like ours continue to be offered to Skaneateles visitors, and that the neighborhood does not become increasingly posh and exclusive."

The Space:
This 1 bedroom upper unit has a completely separate entrance (with a regular flight of stairs), above the two bed unit downstairs. The main living area, kitchen, dining and live room is very spacious. It has a queen sleeper sofa. The bedroom has a queen size bed. It is very private and quiet and fully soundproofed.

The parking lot is large but shared area with 2 other two bedroom units. Please inquire with owner for additional parking if you have more than 2 cars.

- "I absolutely loved this house. It was breathtaking to drive up to see a sweet house surrounded by woods with the lake in the background. What was even more breathtaking was to actually walk into the house and see the lake in all its glory theough the wall of windows. I never tired of the view and the peacefulness and had I been able to swing it with flights etc I would’ve eagerly extended the stay. The house has everything you need, the kitchen is well stocked, there’s a washer and a dryer and a very good choice of kayaks, paddleboards, oars, life jackets, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the second bedroom looked really cute. I honestly cannot express to you what a sense of peace this property gave me. Skaneateles is a gorgeous 15 minute drive away, Dougs Fish Fry was awesome, went twice. The town is just as beautiful as the first time I happened upon it 7 years ago. Do drive the lovely one hour drive to Ithaca Farmers Market, you won’t regret it I promise! But do it early in your stay so you can take advantage of the all fresh produce, pies, cheese and flowers. I will definitely be bringing my husband to this house within the next year. The only negative I can possibly think of - and this is being SUPER picky - is that I would suggest to update the two leather couches to upholstered couches and possibly move the tv to another wall for easier viewing. But again, this is me being excessively picky! ;) The house and the lake are sublime."

Lakeside Landing is on the West Side of Skaneateles Lake and it is located 15 minutes from the the Village of Skaneateles, approximately 8 minutes to Anyela's Vineyard and 45 minutes from Syracuse University. The house is directly on the lake. The interior was remodeled, repainted and decorated in 2020/2021. This property is ideal for those looking for privacy and a relaxing family vacation.

Enjoy the beautiful sunrises from the porch or from the dock. There is 100 feet of lakefront for you to enjoy, including a mooring for a boat rental.

The main level has an open floor plan, a new kitchen with new counter tops and new cookware, a spacious living room and a gas fireplace, half bath and washer and dryer on the first floor. The living room leather couch pulls out to a queen sofa bed for extra guests to enjoy.

On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Two of the bedrooms also have a pull out twin sofa bed. On the second floor there is one bathroom with a tub and shower.

The property also has an outdoor shower, a BBQ and a separate bunk house with 2 bunk beds. Guests have to fill the propane tank for their own use at ACE Hardware in town.

There is a mooring ball for guests to hook up a rental boat. Guests cannot dock the boat at the dock, however, they can hook up to the mooring ball and load and unload at the dock. If Guests wish to trailer their own boat to the property, they must trailer the boat to Skaneateles Marina or the public launch and keep the trailer at a different location. The road to the house is a private road and guests cannot keep vehicles or trailers parked on the road. A trailer and boat cannot be kept in the driveway due to space and incline of the road and driveway.

This charming 2 bedroom cottage couldn't be any cozier, and has one of the best waterfronts on the lake. Nestled at the end of a secluded lane the cottage overlooks 70 feet of private lake frontage. The property has one third of an acre with mature trees and is bordered on four sides by a cottage, forested land, a tranquil creek and Skaneateles Lake. Welcome to Ottagono, our home in the shape of an octagon!

After extensive renovations in 2017 it offers a clean and new environment where modern meets rustic. The 750 square feet lives large with soaring beams in every space. A master craftsman and architect's influence are evident in the way every angle and inch are capitalized upon. There are 180 degree water views from the Great Room, with ample and uncovered windows, and wrap around deck. The kitchen has a full compliment of appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave. There is a table for dining adjacent to the sliding glass doors overlooking the lake. In the center of the cottage a gas fireplace can be used for heat or ambiance, the surround and hearth are soapstone. All walls are cedar shiplap or solid pine.

The Bathroom has ample counter space and a closet. There is a rain head shower with porcelain tile on the walls and floor. The Master Bedroom has a queen sized bed and closet. The Bunk Room has two extra long twin beds custom built to accommodate adults, or kids of any age.

The main deck area is adjacent to the front door; you will experience both indoor and outdoor living. A giant oak tree provides shade for the picnic table and grill. To the side of the deck is a separate building which houses the laundry facilities, also shaped like an octagon. The deck wraps around half the cottage with Adirondack chairs to enjoy the views or read a book. There are gates available to put up at either end to contain younger children. A staircase with 30 steps broken up by six landings takes you to the waterfront. The shale beach has an area for wading and a seawall. The dock is great for sunning, fishing or waving when the mailboat passes by.

There is parking for two cars. A new staircase (with a total of 20 steps and two landings) leads from the parking area to the level lawn. (The barn is not included in the rental.)

Welcome to the Folk Soul, your adorable gem in Skaneateles to kick back and relax in a private, tranquil setting. Nestled adjacent to farm land, this charming house provides gorgeous views all day long. The space is decorated with a calm and stylish look. The couch is extra deep for the times you want to put your feet up and enjoy a movie when you are not outside enjoying a beautiful sunset.

The house is located on the east side of the lake and only a few minutes from downtown Skaneateles, a quaint town with unique shops and delicious food at Doug's Fish Fry, among many restaurants.

Interior Living Space: There are 2 comfortable bedrooms and 1 full bath. The west room has a king foam mattress while the east room has a queen spring mattress. A queen blow up with additional sheets is available. Both rooms have beautifully restored antique dressers and luggage racks. Fresh crisp linens are provided for the bedrooms and bath including beach towels. We have games and cards for those looking for fun, as well as a workstation for those looking to work with a view.

Kitchen: To make cooking for your loved ones easy, the kitchen is fully stocked: induction pots and pans and the normal kitchen appliances including coffee maker, microwave, toaster, water kettle, and more. Please note: we do not have a dishwasher.

Beautiful fully-equipped 1840 farmhouse set on 5 private acres overlooking Skaneateles lake. Four bedrooms (one is a loft) and two full baths comfortably accommodate eight. 5 minutes to Skaneateles Marina and Anyela's vineyard. 5-10 minutes to Village, Skaneateles Country Club and other event venues. Robust WiFi, A/C in the bedrooms, large eat-in kitchen, living room w/ smart TV, music room with baby grand piano, large central hall/dining room. Grounds include formal and cutting gardens, two small ponds, a regulation horseshoe pit, three patios with outdoor tables/seating and a Weber gas grill, a fire pit, a small orchard and much more. There is a large lawn for volleyball, wiffleball, frisbee, soccer and croquet (all available/provided). Perfect for families and close friends, as the bedrooms are interconnected by a bathroom and two staircases, one of which is spiral. (This means that to get to the twin bedroom or the loft bedroom, you will need to walk through another bedroom and/or bathroom.)

Truly waterfront, year round property located on a private lane on a level yard, this cozy cottage is 10 feet from the shore with a boathouse deck overlooking the water. It is perfectly located only 4.9 miles from the Village of Skaneateles for easy trips into town. The cottage has its own 45 feet of private lake frontage featuring an oversized permanent dock and an additional seasonal wooden dock excellent for swimming, fishing, docking and relaxing lakeside. After a full day of water activities, relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the boathouse deck. With the addition of a brand new deck next to the boathouse rooftop, there is plenty of space to spread out and relax in the sun or in the shade. All outdoor furniture is brand new including a Weber grill, Solo Stove bonfire pit, Outer couch and chairs, and Polywood Adirondack chairs and dining table. At dusk, enjoy a bonfire on the dock under the stars while listening to the waves crash right in front of you. Our waterfront provides the ultimate lake life experience.

Inside, the cottage has been completely remodeled while still preserving its vintage charm. The cottage features a brand new, fully stocked kitchen featuring semi custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless steel Bosch appliances, under cabinet lighting, and a small mudroom nook. The kitchen opens up to an open floor plan with the living room and dining room. A new glass sliding door and oversized windows were installed to maximize the stunning, lakefront views. Off of the dining room is a completely remodeled bathroom with a luxurious walk in shower and stackable laundry. The cottage sleeps 4 with one queen bedroom and a sleeping loft with 2 twin beds. It is the ideal place for a couple's getaway or a small family. Please note, during the off season from November-April, guests will not have access to the seasonal dock or to the boathouse couch and chairs.
