Take the tandem kayak out for a paddle, enjoy a picnic by the water, or end the evening around the firepit as the sunset paints the sky in shades of pink and gold. Every day here feels a little bit magical.

When you're ready to explore, you'll find plenty to do nearby. Visit the world-famous MacKenzie-Childs shop for one-of-a-kind home décor, enjoy dinner at 1833 Kitchen and Bar, or grab a casual meal at Fargo Bar & Grill in Aurora. 3. Air conditioning is not available unless listed as an amenity. If available, air conditioning is considered a seasonal amenity and is only available May 15 - October 15.
4. Where pets are allowed it is indicated. Otherwise, pets are not allowed. Homes are not guaranteed allergen-free, even those that do not allow pets.
5. Docking capabilities may vary based on current water levels. Docking is not guaranteed if water levels are low and/or high due to seasonal weather and climate changes.
6. Outdoor amenities, including furniture, watercraft and firepit are not available between October 15 - May 15.

Welcome to "Sunset Oasis”! A 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath picturesque lakefront cottage located on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State. This property features a fully screened in porch, upper and lower decks, a relaxing 4-person hot tub, a private dock with a large sun deck, and 1 vertical boat lift. Fish off the dock, float on a tube (we can rent ours!), have a waterside bonfire or enjoy a paddle in the 2 kayaks provided for use.

This 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath property can sleep up to 6 guests and has parking for 4 vehicles. It features a large fully screened in porch, upper and lower decks with panoramic views of the lake, a relaxing 4-person hot tub available for use year-round, a private dock with a large sun deck, and1 vertical boat lift (max 3000lbs). Cast a line off the dock for some great fishing, float peacefully in an inflatable tube (we have 2 available for rental!), or enjoy a paddle around the lake in the 2 kayaks provided for use.

Take a step inside of “Sunset Oasis” to find an immaculately clean, fully furnished, and comfortable living space. You'll walk through the fully screened porch to find an overstocked kitchen featuring a dishwasher and seating for 4-6, then a convenient half bath. Continue on to find a lovely living room area with desk space, a SMART TV, couches, a brand new queen size sleeper sofa, and views of the lake through 2 double glass doors. Walk up the stairs to find 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath, with sleeping arrangements as follows:

Pets are allowed with an additional $200 pet fee which covers up to 2 pets. Please say yes to the pet option when making the reservation so you are charged correctly. Situated on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake, less than a mile from NY Long Point State Park, this comfortable, fully furnished and equipped two-bedroom cottage can be yours to enjoy.

Come prepared to enjoy every day. Get up early to see the change in the color of the hills across the lake as the sun rises or watch an afternoon storm roll down the lake leaving the air clean and fresh. Enjoy the lake breeze and the sound of waves lapping against the dock. Fish off the end of the dock in one of the best fishing spots on the lake or enjoy a paddle around the lake in a kayak. Be amazed at the spectacular sunset at the end of the day. Roast marshmallows around the firepit.

We expect guests to respect our home as if it was their own. We also require that the house is left in the condition it was when you arrived.

Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Additionally, you will be asked to choose between a damage deposit or a damage waiver. Pet damage is not covered by this policy. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.

A quiet, quaint lakefront cottage located 2 miles in on a private dirt road, great for walking or bike rides. Cottage is on the east side of the lake, close to Aurora, and several wineries and restaurants.

This is our vacation paradise. When we are not enjoying it with family and friends we rent it out. We don’t treat it as a rental. It has the quirkiness that comes from being our cottage. We are always changing, adding, updating. Our very first renter still comes back every year and looks for what we changed or added. Our cottage has over 200 feet of level beachfront, small dock, and is on a more secluded part of Cayuga lake. On the east shore so there are amazing sunsets. The cottage itself has one large camp style bedroom with one double bed and a twin over full bunk bed. Has a living/dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and bathroom with shower. The outside features a large wraparound covered porch with lots of seating, and amazing views. There is also a sun deck, and BBQ area. Note: There is no tv, or internet. If you are looking for a quiet place to get away from it all and unwind this is it!!!

The yard was definitely a nice bonus for our dogs and young kids. We did have issues with the WiFi, but it was taken care of quickly which was much appreciated. The only con I can speak to was the cleanliness of the grill. It was quite dirty with cobwebs, bugs, etc. so my husband spent a decent amount of time scrubbing & cleaning it. All in all, it’s an amazing place for a large family. None of us wanted to leave. Highly recommend."

And if you want to explore further, Cornell and Ithaca are only a 30-minute drive south.

The house has been designed to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, with a special focus on maximizing the beautiful lake views. The first floor is open and filled with natural light, thanks to large windows overlooking the water. The kitchen is fully stocked and is open to the rest of the floor so you don't have to be apart from your group while preparing your meals. There is a dining room with seating for 6, and the cozy living room has an electric fireplace to cuddle up by on a rainy day and read a book.

Upstairs, you'll find three bedrooms. Prepare for your outings in style in the full bathroom featuring a double sink, ensuring everyone has plenty of space to get ready. One of the bedrooms has its own private bathroom complete with a rain showerhead.

Step outside through the French doors on the first floor and onto a spacious deck with outdoor seating and a dining area. A brand new dock allows you to take a refreshing swim in Cayuga Lake. There is also a grill provided. A barrel sauna is available to keep you warm on those cold nights. It can comfortably fit 4 adults, and you can squeeze 6. The lake side is all glass so you can watch the water or the sunset as you relax. You can also stay on the deck until the sun goes down and enjoy a glass of local wine while watching some of the most incredible sunsets you will ever see!
We also have a Watercraft Shed available for rent which includes 6 Lake Tubes, 4 Paddle Boards (with optional kayak seats), 2 Hard Side Kayaks, and plenty of Life Jackets. Rental Fee is $75 **per day**. After 3 days of rental the rest of your stay is free! You may choose to only rent for 1 or 2 days of your stay.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a lake house in a rural area. There will be some spiders and bugs no matter how carefully we clean. The road to the house is a 1 lane dirt road. We love the quiet seclusion and the beauty that this house has and we know you will too, but please understand the area that you will be staying in.

This is a small, quiet, dead end street. It is a private street with a strict 5mph speed limit because of the road's proximity to the houses. There are only 4 properties past this house, so there is little to no traffic at the house.

There is ample parking for cars at the house. The street is only 1 lane, so sometimes you'll need some patience getting in or out. Everyone is very friendly and will make sure you have the access you need!

Notes for Boats! The street is tight and while you'll be able to get it down to the house, turning it around is a challenge and requires an experienced driver. It is doable though. Also, the water can get very rough in even mildly bad weather so we don't allow overnight hitching of boats on the dock to avoid any dock or boat damage.
