A cozy, spotless, well kept two bedroom home (2 queen beds), a fully equipped eat-in kitchen with new stove, new refrigerator, new microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, large island which seats four, and houses a washer and dryer. Dishes, pots, pans and more are provided, the bathroom includes a bathtub w/shower. Linens are provided, as well as bath towels. **Please bring your own beach towels.**

The living room/dining room has a sofa, chair and entertainment center with a 50" smart TV and Wi-Fi on one end, and a beautiful oak dining room table to seat six on the other end.

The enclosed porch overlooking the lake has a leather love seat sofa and chair on one end for reading or napping, and a table and chairs on the other end for eating or playing cards and games. Adirondack chairs and a picnic table, as well as two grills one gas and charcoal are available for your convenience to enjoy the beautiful views of Seneca Lake!

- "You cannot beat the views from this property. We vacationed here to escape the traffic and noise of home! Exactly what we got. Being on the lake was so peaceful. Gorgeous sunsets. Unfortunately couldn’t use the kayaks water was a little too rough for my comfort but relaxing on the dock was great. Sitting on the deck with my coffee in the morning and just enjoying the view was perfect also. Inside the home you will find everything you need. Paper towels, TP, sheets blankets etc… Very clean inside and comfortable. This home was very comfortable for the two of us!"

The home sits just below another property but remains peaceful and private. This is a quiet area with year-round residents, so we kindly ask guests to observe quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM.

Getting Around:
A car is highly recommended for exploring the area. Private taxis/car services and private wine tours are available.

Both units are completely private and have separate exterior entrances with no interior access between them. It’s the ideal setup for groups who want to be together—while still enjoying their own space.

- "The property is in a quiet neighborhood very near to the downtown Geneva area and other are attractions. The home is larger than it appears in the pictures. Well laid out and very comfortable. Access was easy, there is great off street parking and we had every amenity we wanted or needed. There was a minor "glitch" when we initially checked in to the property. Stephen responded immediately to a call and had the concern addressed and resolved in short order. This is a great place to stay if you are visiting the Geneva area, great host, and great location. We will stay again if the opportunity arises."

The historic "Skylight Studio", one bedroom apartment located in downtown Geneva, New York. This recently renovated 3rd floor space was once a photography studio at the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th century which was the home to J.E. Hale who photographed famous suffragist leaders including Susan B. Anthony. The space was featured internationally in 2021 when a secret hidden attic was discovered which housed photographs and equipment belonging to J.E. Hale.

The space

The Skylight Studio is located on the 3rd floor (top floor) with views of Seneca Street, Geneva and Seneca Lake. The space features one large bedroom with original wood floors (refinished), a queen size bed with 2 night stands and a 5 drawer dresser. There is a closet for storage and clothing as well in the bedroom, complete with bookshelf and smart TV.

The main room has a large kitchen with an island with Trillium countertops, there are two stools underneath the island for seating. The kitchen features a Keurig coffee machine, is fully stocked with with cooking equipment, utensils, spices and oils for cooking. There is a 4 seat dining room table for eating or working on your laptop, and a storage dresser with games, cards, candles and other guest amenities. The seating area has a smart TV with a moveable mount so you can watch the TV from anywhere in the space. There are two reclining chairs in the space.

The bathroom is large with a stand up shower and guests are provided bathroom essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, a first aid kit, cleaning supplies, and more.

There is a door which leads out to the rooftop overlooking Seneca Lake to the left and the famous Geneva Row Houses to the right. The rooftop is secured with a railing and there is a fire escape ladder accessible through a gate in the railing. Guests can enjoy the rooftop area and patio seats are available.

The entire space is recently remodeled and features original stone walls exposed, original wood flooring (partial), and the original wood banister.

This space was a Skylight Photography Studio from approximately the 1880's through the early 1900's, and was occupied at one time by J.E. Hale who photographed famed suffragist leaders including Susan B. Anthony. J.E. Hale took the photograph which was her official photo in the Library of Congress. In 2021, the new owner of the building discovered a hidden attic that had not been known to previous owners and uncovered a treasure trove of photography materials, cameras, photographs and an original print of the famed Susan B. Anthony photograph that personally belonged to J.E. Hale. The story made international headlines and information about the find is displayed in the space. - "Beautiful property, unique and picturesque- will be back! " - "My family and I travel to so many different areas and stay at all sorts of different places. This one was BY FAR the most unique, serene and smile inducing. My horse crazy family felt right at home with the equestrian themed home and the horses truly right out of our kitchen window. This is the most attention to detail I’ve EVER seen. Just a heads up, there’s no oven, so plan accordingly. There is a hot plate so we made some delicious stir fry. All there pots and pans, silverware, dishes and pretty much everything is brand new. (Also, there’s a backyard area that’s pretty much fenced in for your pup!) I will be coming back in the spring so that we can take full advantage of the wood burning hot tub, the hammock and also the lovely patio. Thank you for helping my family with this core memory. "

- "Really beautiful property! It’s on the second floor, just above a shop with ample space to hang out, comfortable beds, and great light. Really convenient if you want to easily walk around in downtown Geneva and close by to great vineyards. Short (25 min) walk to Hobart and William Smith college as well along a lovely Main Street. It was raining all weekend, but still great! Kitchen isn’t stocked as much as most stays (minimal cooking tools and kitchen items), but not a problem if you’re just reheating leftovers from the wonderful restaurants all over downtown! "
