We are 5 miles south of Auburn. The Harriett Tubman home is nearby and we are near wine country. We keep the fridge stocked with milk and juice. We have basic breakfast items available as well as coffee and tea. Guests from all backgrounds are welcome! This is a private studio detached from the main home. A pin code lock is set up to give you access at check in time. A fire pit and charcoal grill is available for use if you request it.

We use an electronic pin code lock that automatically updates for each guest with a new pin. You can check in and out easily even if we are not available as you will have a unique pin code just for your stay.

A full kitchen was added in early 2021. It is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, etc. We do ask that you wash any dishes used, as dishes are not included with our cleaning process.

We have a Keurig, toaster oven, microwave, and refrigerator in the studio. The tap water is safe to drink.

There are two queen size beds and one futon available for use. Bedding and towels are provided. If you need extra blankets or towels please let us know a day before arrival so we can have them ready for you.

Guests have their own private studio, with access to volleyball, a fire pit, and a charcoal grill outside upon request.

We live in the house that uses the same driveway. We generally are available should you need something, but as access to the building is automated for our guests we let the guests have their privacy unless they request assistance.

This is a lower level apartment, however there are exterior steps when accessing the apartment (see photos). There are stairs from the parking area to the main entrance and a few stairs up the side patio to the door. If you park on the street, there will be less steps to get to the main door.

One significantly wore-out leather/faux leather sofa coved with crumbs and stains. Stains with coffee table. It took half box wipes to clean them. It quite disturbing to see half box wipes turned into a dark dirty pile. 2. There was no dishwasher but Guests were required to ‘wash and put away used dishes’. How can the cleanness of the dishes cups be guaranteed? 3. All the bedsheets are dark brown. The George Room is a small, private bedroom within a spacious, first-floor apartment. The apartment is in an Italianate 1910 duplex built by the Ebeling family on historic Prospect Hill. The private room has a comfortable twin bed, a closet, nightstand, two windows, and a 6-drawer dresser.

One thing to note with The George Room is that its floors are sloped. The furniture has been leveled, but the floor has a slope.

The apartment has been renovated to combine modern amenities with old world charm and architecture. The apartment includes modern amenities like a dishwasher, garbage disposal, in-unit washer and dryer, blazing fast wi-fi, electric range, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, exterior security cameras, smart locks, and a Roku TV (ready for you to login to your preferred streaming services).

Guests will have shared access to the common areas and to these amenities. The common areas include a living room, dining room, porch, fully-stocked kitchen, shared bathroom, laundry room/half bath, and backyard.

Great care has gone into restoring this duplex to its former glory. This historic Italianate home had become run-down and vacant. It was an eyesore and not in livable condition. It has been lovingly restored, and we are looking for guests who will treat it well and help keep it in its restored condition.

Please note that there are three other bedrooms that may be rented out to other guests during your stay. The George Room (this listing) is located off of the kitchen. The Edward Room and the Master Bedroom are both off of the living room, and The Mabel Room is located off of the dining room.

There is free street parking, and a parking spot can often be found in front of the house. Parking is allowed on the house side of the street from 6pm on odd days to 6pm on even days. On the far side of the street, parking is allowed from 6pm on even days to 6pm on odd days. There are two parking spots in the driveway. If you are interested in one of the parking spots, please contact us for availability.

In addition to the storage in the nightstand, closet, and six-drawer dresser, there is additional storage in the apartment. You will have a dedicated shelf in the bathroom hutch, as well as a cabinet in the kitchen. There is also lots of space on the kitchen shelving and on the shelving in the laundry room/half bath.

Each guest gets their own PIN code to the smart lock, and their code only works during their stay.

The neighborhood is full of historic homes, and some are particular notable, such as across the street where the 1892 Victorian home designed by architect George Franklin Barber sits.

The neighbors are also quite friendly with the long-time homeowners caring deeply about their neighborhood. The neighbors next door keep a close eye on the property and are quick to alert the moment they see anything suspicious.

The bathroom and half bath are shared facilities. A dry erase board is attached to the refrigerator to allow for easy bathroom scheduling.

Trash day is Monday. The trash barrel and recycling need to be placed on the curb after 6pm on Sunday and brought back again after pickup.

There is a large trashcan full of salt by the side of the house. Please salt the walkways when it gets icy.

We pay for the first $200/month of the utility bill plus $100 of the water bill. If the utilities are higher than that, the additional gets split between the guests.

Please note that for toilet paper and paper towels, we provide a starter set of 4 rolls of toilet paper and 2 rolls of paper towels. Guests are expected to purchase additional toilet paper and paper towels. Airbnb groups toilet paper under Essentials that include towels and bed sheets. While we provide those other essentials, we only provide a starter set of toilet paper and paper towels.

Private bedroom in a newly-renovated, first-floor apartment. The apartment is centrally located and is the ideal spot for traveling nurses, traveling professionals, or students. Not only is the location hard to beat, but it has fantastic views of the city. It is one block from St. Joe's and less than a mile from Upstate.

The space
The Floor 1 Master Bedroom is a large, private bedroom within a spacious, first-floor apartment. The apartment is in an Italianate 1910 duplex built by the Ebeling family on historic Prospect Hill. The private room has a comfortable queen bed with two storage drawers underneath, a wardrobe, nightstand, 3 windows, and a dresser. It has large bifold barn doors leading to the living room.

The apartment has been renovated to combine modern amenities with old world charm and architecture. The apartment includes modern amenities like a dishwasher, garbage disposal, in-unit washer and dryer, blazing fast wi-fi, electric range, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, exterior security cameras, smart locks, and a Roku TV (ready for you to login to your preferred streaming services).

Guests will have shared access to the common areas and to these amenities. The common areas include a living room, dining room, porch, fully-stocked kitchen, shared bathroom, laundry room/half bath, and backyard.

Great care has gone into restoring this duplex to its former glory. This historic Italianate home had become run-down and vacant. It was an eyesore and not in livable condition. It has been lovingly restored, and we are looking for guests who will treat it well and help keep it in its restored condition.

Please note that there are three other bedrooms that may be rented out to other guests during your stay. The Floor 1 Master Bedroom (this listing) and the Edward Room are both off of the living room. The Mabel Room is off of the dining room, and the George Room is located off of the kitchen.

There is free street parking, and a parking spot can often be found in front of the house. Parking is allowed on the house side of the street from 6pm on odd days to 6pm on even days. On the far side of the street, parking is allowed from 6pm on even days to 6pm on odd days. There are two parking spots in the driveway. If you are interested in one of the parking spots, please contact us for availability.

In addition to the storage in the wardrobe, nightstand, bed drawers, and dresser, there is also storage in the kitchen and bathroom. You will have a dedicated shelf in the bathroom hutch, as well as a cabinet in the kitchen. There is also lots of space on the kitchen shelving and on the shelving in the laundry room/half bath.

Each guest gets their own PIN code to the smart lock, and their code only works during their stay.

The neighborhood is full of historic homes, and some are particular notable, such as across the street where the 1892 Victorian home designed by architect George Franklin Barber sits.

The neighbors are also quite friendly with the long-time homeowners caring deeply about their neighborhood. The neighbors next door keep a close eye on the property and are quick to alert the moment they see anything suspicious.

The bathroom and half bath are shared facilities. A dry erase board is attached to the refrigerator to allow for easy bathroom scheduling.

Only ten minutes from the gorgeous Green Lakes State Park and twenty minutes from Verona Beach State Park. Oneida Lake is only three miles from the site with a non-motorized boat launch. Complimentary WI-FI included. This for a campsite with a 30amp electrical hookup, must provide own tent or bring own RV.

This property is located in the north side of Syracuse. People passing through makes noises but the folks living there are pretty nice people. Most days it’s quiet but sometimes it’s noisy. The house is closer to an intersection with some traffic and people passing through.
