We arrived to find cold water bottles, snacks and sucking candies, a bottle of wine, coffee pods, individual butter and coffee creamers. These are all such nice, thoughtful touches and essentials before we could do a quick food shop. Food shopping not really necessary because Canandaigua has some great restaurants. The Lake is beautiful for walking, swimming, taking a ferry cruise or a kayak ride. We will certainly be back."

It's close to a number of great restaurants but on a quiet side street. The home was clean and comfortable and just as represented in the pictures. The two bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. If you're not able to climb stairs, then this home is not for you. We were so happy with our stay. We would highly recommend it!"

Other things to note
Our house is a small lodge with a wood burning stove and an artesian well system for water, our well water does have a strong sulfur smell and is not intended for consumption. we do provide 15 gallons of fresh drinking water for cooking with and consumption. Yes our water has a unique smell to it, but it is completely normal for water to have the odor it does in out region of the state. The Air Conditioning is a window unit seeming how it's really only used 2 months out of the year. The property has a shared driveway with other airbnbs and we are currently putting in trails and campsites along the creek along the trails in the back of the property. if you decide to walk the trails, please be cautious. they are not finished and currently being worked on. If you need help with anything there will always be a caretaker on or around the property to help you with anything . I wish the most convenient stay for all my guests and hope to fully disclose any issues or questions you may have with your stay!

It is perfectly situated between downtown and the lake. Typically properties oversell in their listings and under impress when you arrive, but this one did the opposite! The decor was lovely, everything was new and impeccably styled. The linens were a good quality and the beds were very comfortable. Ample towels were also supplied. We did not cook any meals, but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked. Most importantly, the property was extremely clean. I am very discerning about the cleanliness of properties when we travel and I check places very carefully. I found every surface to be clean when we arrived. The property has a couple little quirks, but they are part of the character that come with an apartment in an older home/building and do not detract from the overwhelmingly positive experience. I contacted the hosts once during our stay and they were wonderful and quick to respond. They had also given us some suggestions for local restaurants, activities, etc. that were great choices. One more thing to mention is the hosts's attention to detail. They have taken all the little extra steps to provide an overall welcoming and comfortable guest experience. I was traveling my two kids and this was the first stop during a week long trip across the state. We stayed in several different places and everyone agreed this was our favorite place during our trip!"

We welcome you to spend your vacation at our spacious & fully furnished attached apartment. Peaceful location in our long black top driveway, park for free right outside your entry door.
Inside you will find a beautiful kitchen with an island/ dining area. Just beyond that is a spacious livingroom to lounge in.
The master bedroom contains a king bed, a large closet, and a master bathroom.
The 2nd bedroom hosts a queen bed, a set of bunk beds and also has an attached bathroom.

This is an attached apartment, its attached to our main living quarters although there is no shared space. There is a laundry (not available to guest) and bathroom separating the 2 spaces and acts as a sound buffering space.. However since we live here and go about our daily living you may hear our vehicle coming and going or some noise occasionally. Please consider that before booking.

- "We had a wonderful stay here! The view is spectacular and worth every penny. We slept 4 adults and it was very comfortable. There is a pullout couch and futon for additional sleeping but can’t speak to how comfortable they are. The kitchen had most anything we needed as far as utensils and cookware went. We had a 3 year old child who visited for the day and I could say the location would not be great for a child any younger. There was a drop off, stairs down to the lake, and not a large area to walk into the water. The lake is very rocky so highly recommend water shoes. Hopefully these are helpful notes - we loved our time here and would stay again."

You can tell Dave and Steph put a lot of care into setting it up for guests, and that it means a lot to their family. The kids loved the games, books, and pond. Over looking Canandaigua Lake, this beautiful, panoramic view of the lake and surrounding hillsides is an ideal way to start, or end, your day. Enjoy a cozy suite with private bath and make yourself at home! Located in the finger lakes, close to many wineries, breweries, hiking trails, sailing venues, theaters and ski areas, this charming location has unmatched views and is available on a nightly or weekly basis. 15 min from Bristol Mt. ski resort, 10 min to CMAC, and 15 minutes to local food!

The space
One queen size bed with private bathroom. Guests are welcome to enjoy the quiet spaces available here on the hill overlooking Canandaigua Lake. There is a huge deck for hanging out and enjoying the peace and serenity and magnificent views. We have a brand new air conditioning system! I live on the premises but make every effort to give guests their space to enjoy their privacy and the beauty of this setting. The suite is accessed through a common entrance.

Guests enter through the front door and are welcome to use the kitchen and living spaces. This open floor plan offers many places to sit, relax and enjoy the views.

During your stay
I live on site and will be available for anything you need to make your stay more comfortable. If you are in need of privacy this is the place for you as there is enough room for everyone to have their own space. There is a brand new air conditioning system.

Cozy 2 bedroom lower level apartment in host's home in the beautiful historic district of Canandaigua. 1 to 2 miles from shops, restaurants, pubs, and Canandaigua Lake, and easy to walk to everything if you enjoy walking. Just 12 miles from Bristol Mountain, 4 miles from CMAC, and 2 miles from Sonnenberg Gardens. The private entrance has a coded keyless entry which will be presented upon booking.

This cozy apartment has two spacious bedrooms, 1 full bath, a living area with a smart TV, and full access to a washer and dryer. The kitchenette is equipped with a small stove refrigerator, microwave, hot plate, toaster, coffee maker, and all utensils. The space
The house is the only grey colonial on the street. It has a circular stone driveway, a two floor garage with a turret protruding from its side, and a fenced in area for the chickens and fowl. Guest parking is along the left side of the driveway along the chicken wire fence. Your private entrance is located on the first floor of the house and is the only door visible from the driveway that has a lockbox on it. Upon entering, the kitchen is the first space you will encounter. It is fully stocked and equipped with most everything you will need, including fridge, freezer, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, air fryer, complimentary coffee, water, and almost every utensil you may need. There is a staircase to the top two floors visible from the kitchen but we put it out of sight with a curtain and the door at the top of the stairs is always locked. The living room is medium sized, with a plush couch, 50 inch smart tv, dining table, and a desk for you traveling workers. The bathroom features a stand up tile shower, modern vanity, up flush toilet, and complimentary hygiene products. Under the stairs you will find the stackable washer and dryer and complimentary detergent. Lastly, the bedroom has a plush queen sized bed and a full compliment of bedroom furniture to store all of your clothes and goods. It also features a 32 inch tv, a sitting chair, and a variety of chargers in case you forgot yours at home.

This home has been converted into a duplex. The first floor is a stand alone apartment. The driveway is the only shared space with the home owners. The driveway is large and circular that offers plenty of space for parking. My girlfriend Alexus, as well as our dogs Beefy and Capo occupy the top two floors. We cannot promise zero noise, but we are early to bed, work during the days (except Sunday), almost never have guests, and for the most part we are pretty quiet.

Other things to note
~ As advertised, this space is a triplex. My girlfriend and I live in the house on the second and third floor. We do our best to stay quiet from 9pm to 9am. With this said we have weekday jobs that we get up early to go to and we have lives to live during the day on the weekends. We also have two dogs. I would definitely suggest a private home if complete silence and privacy is your goal.

~ The house is on well water. We have a water softener and it comes out very clean but you should not drink it. We provide complementary drinking water. The toilet is what is called an upflush toilet, meaning instead of everything going down to the main line as it does in a traditional house, it gets shot upward. The sink and the shower are hooked up to it. It makes a loud noise as it shoots water and waste up into the main pipe which brings the water out to the septic tank. Don't be alarmed!

~ We have two pets, beefy and capo. You will probably hear them at times and may even see them outside a time or two. They both like to bark but are entirely harmless.

~ This space is priced with all of the above mentioned in mind, so please do not loose site of that. Always reach out if you have any concerns that caused you to have a less than five star experience. I am a reasonable person and will gladly comp you money for reasonable concerns or issues.

There is always an event in nearby towns including the famous Naples fest just minutes away, lifts at Bristol Mountain during fall, skiing and snowboarding in winter, water parks, beaches, fishing and boating in the Summer! The house has been updated, with an equipped Kitchen, snacks, fresh water, coffee, tea, cocoa, and full toiletries. Plenty of outdoor/indoor games for the kids (or adult kids) Arcade gaming system, as well as scooters/Basketball/tennis/pickleball equipment for the outdoor Community Center, and life Jackets/noodles/towels for the beach. We love the quiet moments sitting on the patio and enjoying lake views as well. Why rent a crummy hotel room when you can rent a whole townhouse for half the price of a hotel room in Canandaguia**** NO EVENTS, NO PARTIES, NO GATHERINGS. Please note beach opens memorial day weekend for the Summer. ****There is a 4 minute walk to the beach, walk back up is inclined, not suitable for folks that struggle walking or health issues in the heat. We do have a volunteer golf cart on the weekends to shuttle to beach and back. Onanda is a few minutes drive up the road and parkable/swimming for folks who do not want to walk to our beach access. Get a perfect rating from me by commuting anything I need to know and keeping the house neat and tidy!
