Caitlin and her mom Pam were available, helpful, and invested in making our stay perfect. There was not one thing that we could have needed during this stay that they didn’t provide… except maybe foot massages after our days of adventures! Every kitchen, bathroom, and first aid item you could possibly imagine was provided. It was so clean and quaint. It is much bigger and cuter than the photos show, imo. Peach cottage is just past the garden (help yourself), and off to the left. You share access to the summer kitchen, bath house, pergola with large picnic tables, fire pit, and a gas grill. You may also walk up the hill, past the windmill to our pond. If you are lucky enough to be here in September, our property smells like grape juice.

Other things to note
While we welcome your dog, please be aware that a dog, a cat and three teenagers live here. There is also a fairly busy road nearby. We need to ensure that everyone is safe.

Located just a couple of miles north of the lovely village of Watkins Glen, and right at the very start of the Finger Lake's Wine trail on the West side of the stunning Seneca Lake! We currently have two cozy cabins available. Each one room cabin can accommodate up to four guests.

The space
This one room cabin will sleep up to four guests. It includes a large site equipped with a fire pit for hot dog roasting and s’more making! There is also an 8 foot picnic table and two out door chairs and a small table on the porch. Perfect for that morning cup of coffee or afternoon glass of wine. The Bath house is communal and shared between both cabins. It has hot water, a double sink, a composting toilet and an out door shower. There are also a few frying pans and utensils for communal use. There is NO electricity in the cabin. There is some battery operated and solar lighting throughout the cabin and bath house.

There is a lovely creek that runs through the property. Without crossing over to the other side you can walk the creek flat or even sit and listen to the serene water flowing and the birds chirping.

Boathouse experience on the Seneca Canal in Watkins Glen, NY. Private 1st floor self contained unit (new in 2021) in the boathouse over looking Seneca Canal. Access to shared laundry, common entertaining areas, grill,. The unit entrance is from your private dock overlooking the canal. Plenty of room to park. Dog friendly. Other listings are Anchor Room and Wheel Room. NOTE - this is a our smallest unit and is most suitable for a solo traveler or couple sharing the double bed.

The boathouse experience in our Fish Room beginning in 2021 will be a self contained unit. We doubled the capacity to make this a long narrow 1 bedroom unit, which has a private dock with chairs, inside massage recliners, desk, full bathroom, and double bed. The living room, kitchen and bedroom area is 7 x 26, giving you the experience of a long narrow boat. The desk area is 4 x 4, and the bathroom is 6 x 6. The unit is designed for a solo traveler or a couple looking for a small getaway, but with a unique experience. New for 2021 is sound barrier lining on the interior wall, which was recommended by guest feedback. The common grounds include plenty of parking, room for your boat, and lots of room for dogs if they join your trip. We are a dog friendly property and just ask you clean up after your dog and adhere to leash laws.

Located adjacent to an 1860's working farm and right on the Seneca Lake wine trail, the Dutchmen is fully equipped and comfortable, ideal for two adults and 2-3 children. Note: we're on a main street, so there is some street noise. And we're one block from the fire department, so as our guest you need to know there's a possibility of the alarm going off in the night (we've been hosts for two years without a night-time fire, but you need to be aware of the possibility).

We have a keycode lock, so you are free to check in anytime after 3 pm at your convenience, and to come and go as you like.

Access to the apartment is via the side porch. The apartment is on the second floor. The stairs are fairly steep, but there is a handrail.

The kitchen comes supplied with a collection of organic herbs and spices and cookware. Use anything you need. There's a pantry with a few additional supplies and ingredients that we're adding to as we find single-serve or tamper-proof sources. We want you to feel at home at our place.

The Boathouse Wheel Room is a new self contained unit offering a bedroom with a queen bed overlooking the canal, living room, kitchen and a deck with chairs on the canal. There is a keypad private entry. The property backs to the Catharine Trail and is within walking distance of town and the state park. Enjoy bird watching from your deck as you wants boats pass by. Pet friendly with net proceeds benefiting animal rescue groups through Dogged Perseverance non-profit, which runs Camp Dogged.

Conveniently located just 4 miles from the Watkins Glen International Speedway, we offer clean, warm and dry cabins for rent. Along with a cabin rental, you can enjoy all 30 acres of the property to include it’s 3 acre pond and an abundance of wildlife.

Cabin #1 has two twin size beds and a small futon couch that can be folded down into a child's bed. The cabin includes an air conditioner, small refrigerator, and a fan. The shower rooms are about 100 feet from the cabin.

Lovely tiny house surrounded by fields and farm animals. Guests have access to entire tiny house, complete with its own private driveway. Full kitchen and bath with standing shower. Loft style bedroom. Front porch with chairs and a fire pit (solo stove). 2 min walk to the Finger Lakes Trail + only a 10 minute drive to Watkins Glen, Seneca Lake and the Seneca Lake wineries. Less than 5 min drive to Watkins Glen International Speedway.

The space
The tiny house is located in host's side yard but it has its own separate driveway and is situated so that the porch only faces the fields and not the main house. As private and quaint as can be.

Guest access
Free parking right next to the tiny house. Can easily fit two cars. Watkins Glen is only a short drive away.

Other things to note
Farm fresh eggs will be provided in the fridge when hens are laying.

We have some flexibility with check in time. Before Labor Day we can accommodate a 2pm check in.

Guests have full access to the 2.5 acre property which includes, large lawns, firepit, & places to relax.
