This is a very private home on beautiful 5 acre plot right on Lake Ontario. Included are comfortable accommodations for 12 people and fully equipped kitchen and two and half baths. Huge yard with deck, picnic tables and grill. Beach accessible from back yard for swimming, walks, kayaking and hunting for sea glass and rocks. Walking distance to Sodus Point public beach, historic light house and parks. Restaurants and bars are a short walk away and safe walk home. Rental comes with use of three kayaks with paddles and life jackets. Washer/Dryer, gas fireplace, linens and bath towels included. On rainy days, there is a television in the living room equipped with fire stick, DVD player and WiFi; or just unplug with board games or cards. There is also a ping pong table downstairs! The large yard was used for yard games of all kinds. The adults and the kids agreed this was a wonderful place for Family Camp!"

A quaint one bedroom apartment with a small living room located right on Greig street. It is the closest place to stay by all the fun Sodus Point has to offer. A one bedroom one bath apartment located in the Sodus Point Lodge. It is steps away from Abe’s tiki bar and Jacks. Matt lives on the premises, and the lodge employs a full time cleaning staff. The street can be a little loud when the bands are playing, but this is part of the fun staying there. Open the window or hang out In the entryway and watch and listen to the fun on greig st.

The bathroom was beautiful and well done. The only improvements I can think of would be a real door and a way to hang up wet towels. The bedroom was nicely designed and consists of a queen sized bed and night stands. The walls are paper thin, or so it seems. We could hear our neighbors talking and their tvs. The location is right on the street so it is within easy walking distance of restaurants and stores. The downside is that it can be noisy with people walking by and vehicles. We appreciated that pets are allowed. All in all, it was a great stay and I would stay again."

It is located about 1/4 mile from downtown Sodus Point on a private drive and less than a mile to the pier and beach. Updated home includes new furniture, new grill, new countertops. Appliances are either brand new or only a couple years old. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed and one with a full and twin, full size bath. Downstairs, living room with gas fireplace, dining room, loft and full size sofa bed, along with full kitchen, 3/4 bath and laundry room. Jack's Bar & restaurant is 1.3 mile.

The Franklin House is .7 mile away to have a drink and lunch or dinner, Steger Haus is 1 mile or drive 1.3 mile into the village to enjoy Capt. Jack's Bar and restaurant. The Bay and marinas are a short walk to the end of Margaretta Road where the public boat ramp is, convenient for boaters. The driveway is long enough to accommodate boat trailers. Great yard and deck to have a BBQ.

Garbage bins are provided on the left side of the duplex for both apartments. The garbage is put out Wednesday nights for Thursday morning pickup.

The long driveway is all for my guests and long enough to accommodate boat trailers. The deck is private and the lawn in front and back is there for you to enjoy. There is a full basement to do laundry with soap and dryer sheets provided.

For a decade, we dreamed of having a cozy cottage in Sodus Point that we could share with others. Our dream has become a reality and we are honored to care for and enjoy this spot just as its previous owners did. We love this special place and are excited to welcome you!

Bay Point Dream is just the right size for a couple or family. It sleeps 6 people with a queen bed, 2 bunk beds, and you can add two extra people when you configure the modular sofa into a square. See glistening Sodus Bay from the living room and walk out the front door past a handful of cottages to get to Lake Ontario. Restaurants, the beach, the pier, lighthouse, shops, playgrounds, ice cream shops (seasonal) and bars are just a quick walk away.

The space:
This completely renovated cottage is located alongside many other 1900 quaint fishing cottages. This sweet haven is in the heart of Sodus Point and welcomes guests year-round. It is an inviting place for the whole family, couple, friends, or a solitary getaway.

Breezes from the lake and the bay blow all summer long and is a cozy spot to settle in during the colder months. It is well insulated and has heat and air conditioning to keep you at just the right temperature all year long.

The cottage was designed to have smaller bedrooms so views of the bay and living space could be maximized.

The kitchen has a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, blender, toaster, drip coffee maker, Keurig, cookware, and dinnerware for 12. The dining table features beach storage, seats 6 adults, and has two extra chairs if needed.

The primary bedroom has a queen bed with wall and under-bed storage. The memory foam mattress (2024) also has new linens. Each side table has a lamp and alarm clock, along with a sound machine and adjustable heating/cooling with a new mini-split unit.

The bunk room has two twin bunk beds with new memory foam mattresses, new linens, alarm clocks and lights for each bed, a sound machine, storage drawers underneath each bed, and adjustable heating/cooling with a new mini-split unit.

In the living room, the modular sofa and ottomans can be configured to sleep two adults to give you lots of flexibility. A flatscreen TV with cable and free WiFi is provided, along with an assortment of books, games, puzzles, and adjustable heating/cooling with a new mini-split unit.

Linens and towels are provided. Bring your own beach towels.

The full bath has a 24” rounded shower. The half bath has a full, stackable washer and dryer. Hot water takes a moment to start but is unlimited with a tankless water heater.

The backyard deck features a table and seating for 6. There is a view of the bay, along with views of the ball field and park area. You can walk to the lake beach where campfires are permitted. The public beaches and snack shop are open during the summer months and are a two minute walk north. Restaurants, bars, shops, and ice cream are all less than a 2 minute walk to the south. On summer evenings, you can often hear the bands playing as you sit on the deck.

Also enjoy nearby golfing at Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club, sailing, hiking at Chimney Bluffs State Park and Beechwood State Park, fishing, ice fishing, water recreation, snowmobiling, skiing at Brantling, playgrounds, apple picking in the fall, wine tours, public access points, pier, lighthouse, lighthouse museum, churches, ball field, chartered fishing excursions, convenience market and grocery stores, farmers markets, boat rentals, skatepark, gift shops, and outdoor summer concerts by the lake.

We are happy to provide pillows, bedding, bath towels, and some cooking and cleaning products. We also provide toilet paper and paper towels, along with shampoo, conditioner, body wash to get your stay started. Beach towels and refills you may need during your stay are the responsibility of the guest.

Guests are expected to leave the cottage in the same condition it was found in, including floors. A fee will be assessed if the cottage requires attention after your rental.

Saturday to Saturday weekly rentals in summer, 2 day minimum the rest of the year.

My cozy, intimate getaway is a very relaxing place to gaze at the water or read a book or even get some work done in peace .

You will hear the waves rolling onto the shoreline and birds singing away. If you are a bird lover you will see many lovely species including Eagles, cardinals, orioles, Bluejays and humming birds.

The master bed faces the lake.. You can wake to the gorgeous view of the shimmering water, or have your morning coffee on the screened in porch watching the sunrise.

In the the evenings you can enjoy the spacious deck with its cozy furniture to watch the AMAZING sunsets! If the nighttime pests get too much, you can still enjoy the outside air on the screened in porch. The deck also has a gas fireplace, an outdoor dining table and a BBQ gas grill.

The full size kitchen is large enough for the whole family to gather together for meals. If you would rather eat outside there is a full sized dining table on the deck. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a 4-burner stove and a small oven. There is also a microwave, small indoor grill and an induction cooktop burner for your use.

There is a shared pool available to you with a with a lifeguard on duty at all times that the pool is open. There are lounge chairs and tables to use as well.

NOTE** Depending on the availability of the lifeguards, the pool hours may vary every day.
