- Severe flooding in 2017 and 2019, along with strong winds, caused significant waterfront damage, washing the small dock ashore and leading to erosion. A retaining wall and new steps were added in 2020, but there is still no direct water access. For safety, do not attempt to climb down the rocks, as it may result in injury. The property has an amazing location - right in the middle of where we needed to be, and a stones throw to everywhere in Clayton. You can walk to the corner gas station or Lyrics for amazing breakfasts, ice cream shops, restaurants and bars, the waterfront, the arena and the grocery &liquor store. The home has an adorable back patio with table and chairs. We comfortably and almost privately slept 2 adults and 2 kids. The master is very large with a comfy bed. The living room was perfect for an air mattress and the back bedroom with the daybed was perfect for my other child. Very happy, plan on returning in the future."
