Three miles off Route 81 (Exit 50S) in Fishers Landing, NY which is directly in between Alexandria Bay, NY and Clayton, NY the two most sought after tourist destinations in northern New York. Fisher’s Landing offers many amenities for safe family fun. Fisher Landing is an alternative to a crowded village with traffic, people, busy sidewalks and commerce.

The Property:
Private owned manicured lot with sun and shade, cozy, bright, updated, economical with character we offer this small cottage-like home that sleeps up to 5 people. With a large driveway to park boats and boat trailers, there are three bedrooms, eat-in kitchen, heat and central air conditioning, washer and dryer, wrap around front porch for sitting, reading, etc. with tables and chairs and a large well maintained yard. There is a brand new outdoor propane Weber grill. There is a coffee maker, blender, fridge, stove & oven, microwave, toaster and toaster oven, dishware/flatware, trash bags, paper towels, cooking basics, etc. There is a bathroom with a bathtub/shower. The bedrooms are small but offer closet space. In the shed there are items to use if you forgot them such as bikes, coolers, life jackets, etc.

Two marinas in walking distance also offer short-term docking inexpensively. You may keep the boat on a trailer in the driveway when not in use as the boat launch is free. Outdoor plugs are available to charge trolling motor batteries, etc. No fish cutting, please. We can recommend where to cut fish.

Garage:
There is a large garage 16x30 on the property that will remain locked. However, if there is a need to get a classic car or motorcycle out of the rain, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Swimming Access to the St. Lawrence River:
Deeded water access offers amazing sunsets that also allow for sitting in shade, eating at picnic tables, swimming, some sand and a walk-in water launch location for kayaks, row boats, canoes, paddle boards, etc. Pull your jet-ski up to the shore/beach. There are 3 kayaks for guests to use.

Neighborhood Amenities:
Within walking distance there is a brand new easy to use FREE boat launch, famous Foxy’s Restaurant, PJ’s Restaurant, Chalk’s Marina, Bill and Jack’s Marina, Gal’s Ice Cream Deli Sandwiches and Convenience Store and the historic US Post Office. The neighborhood has a tennis and basketball court next to the River. Low traffic, blacktop roads offer a great area for kids to play, for biking, walking, roller blading, golf carts, etc. Use the kayaks! Price Chopper and the 1000 Islands Bait Store are 3 miles away.

- "Clean, quiet, lovely, private, wonderful." - "Perfect location on the river. Watch the ships cruise by and the nightly sunsets from the well placed deck or dock" - "The view was remarkable. Right up on the STL River, with Canada across in beautiful foliage! The property is older, and maybe the photos don't show that well. However it was well maintained, and very clean. It has no central heat/HVAC, but the owner had several electric heaters going that worked fine for us. There was also a gas fireplace that blew more heat when needed. Some bees found their way in, and I told the owner who said she would have it sprayed. I think the kitchen windows were not well closed and when we closed the windows completely in the kitchen, they stayed out. The shower is similar to a cruise ship in terms of very small space, but it was fine, with hot water and a good flow. We came 2nd week of October, and things are getting closed in Clayton. It was very quiet. It could get noise in the middle of the summer given the many summer homes nearby. We really enjoyed our 4 nights in the area. Sitting on the deck and seeing ships go by was relaxing."

Clean and comfortable for our family of ten over the stay. The weather was unfortunately awful which prevented much use of the outdoor deck and fishing but we were able to cook out and enjoy the ample space inside as well as make quick trips for dinner and breakfast in Clayton and Alex Bay given their close proximity to the house. Only 1 issue was experienced during the stay which was the a/c unit not working in the master bedroom which I reached out to the property manager and they said they would have it looked at. Besides that we can’t wait to return to enjoy this property next year when hopefully Mother Nature cooperates better. Thanks from our entire family for a wonderful week together!"

- "We have been traveling to the 1000 islands for many years!! This is the first year we have decided to stay somewhere different and for the most part had an awesome experience!! Everything was very clean and put together the screened in porch was another big plus to be able to watch all the ships!! I think my only real complaint was how long it took for anyone to get back to me! My confirmation email came but had no check in information for key codes or anything so I messaged the host and I still have not received a response! But otherwise very lovely and nice place to stay right on the channel!!"

Ships traveling the St. Lawrence Seaway pass in front of the cottage as do recreational boats. Boaters can launch their boats from a public boat launch nearby.
The deck that surrounds two sides of the cottage provides not only a spectacular view of the river and boating activities but is a great place to relax, read, barbecue and dine.
The living room / dining area inside the cottage also has a great view with comfortable seating, including a sleeper sofa , dining table and cable/internet access.
The kitchen is modern and spacious and equipped with all the basics for meal preparation.
Of course, being near Clayton, guests will want to explore the fine dining of the local restaurants as well as all the other amenities Clayton and the surrounding area have to offer.

The minimum stay during the peak summer months through Labor Day weekend, is 7 nights. We encourage longer stays of two weeks or more. Discounts will be applied for longer stays. If interested, please contact the property owner.

Historic carriage house is across from park and walking distance to the river and downtown. There is free off-street parking. The house has 2 bedrooms that will accommodate 4 people, a large kitchen, living area, one full bathroom downstairs and a half bath upstairs. One pet is welcome, but there is no fenced in area.

Please note that the AC is in the bedrooms only; no central AC, but there are two fans and ceiling fans. Also, the TV is not connected to any cable or satellite service. It's for streaming only. There is a Pak and Play for guest use.

This home was built in the late 1980's by our family’s matriarch, Madora Brewster. She over saw every last detail of this house - from the breathtaking sunroom, the river rock fireplace mantel, to the moonlit bathtub in the master bedroom.

The space
This house is wonderful for a larger family, duel family vacation or for 2/3 couples. Perfect for families that want to take in everything that the 1000 Islands has to offer.

Upon entry, the split staircase will take you either upstairs or downstairs. Upstairs you will find the master bedroom with king bed, along with its own personal balcony and full bath. The kitchen is the heart of the home with full views of the living room and dinning room. The living room has an oversized sectional with a large TV perfect for movie nights. The sunroom is a perfect spot to have breakfast or catch up on your reading. The second bedroom on this floor on the opposite side of the house, conveniently located next to the main full bath on this level.

On the lower level, you will find the larger of the living areas. This living area has full size windows, so natural light is still abundant. We have a propane fireplace, smaller couch and TV, along with a foosball table. Set off to the side is the office/bunk bed room. Down the hallway, you will find the third bedroom with a king size bed. The 3rd full bath is close by, giving every bedroom their own personal bathroom.

This property is unlike others in the area - we have kept our surrounding acres natural. You will see wildlife and greenery everywhere you look.

We are a short 5 minute drive from downtown Clayton, 15 minutes to Alex Bay or Cape Vincent, and just 25 minutes to the wonderful Wellesley Island.

Near Clayton NY sits cottage with a stunning view of the St Lawrence River. The upper cottage has three bedrooms – the main bedroom with a king bed, sliding doors to deck and spectacular river views, another room with a double bed and another with two twin beds. The bonus for this cottage is an enclosed outdoor shower. The river is swimmable, small dock, and private parking. We do allow pets, but we do have a pet fee.

The River cottage is a two bedroom plus loft cottage with gas fireplace and an expansive covered deck offering a stunning 180 degree elevated view of the St Lawrence and is literally feet from the River’s edge! Located at West Winds Motel & Cottages you will be able to enjoy our spacious five acre grounds. Your family may enjoy a swim in our pool or compete with friends at horseshoe or bocce. Please be sure to enjoy our central patio with a fire pit where we hosts our nightly campfires.

Our facility has a 14-slip marina, dockage is available at $25 a day or $130 for a week. Please contact the Host for availability. The Dock fee is paid directly to the host at check in and is subject to an 8% sales tax.

Come relax in Buck Bay. Our family cottage is situated right on the water in a private, peaceful bay with beautiful views. We are accessible only by private boat or water taxi, about 4 miles from Clayton, NY & Gananoque, Ontario. The house is perfect for 4 adults and 2-4 children or young adults. Recently updated furniture & linens, washer, dryer and more! The boathouse has about 4-8 feet of water depth and room for 2 boats. There is a swim float 30’ from shore.
