- "We were happy with the cottage - pretty much what we expected. " - "Our family loved our stay and will definitely be back in the future. The staff was warm and welcoming and made every effort to make us feel comfortable. Our cottage was adorable and perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen had everything you could possibly want and the beds were very comfortable. Our children loved the swimming pool and the Iroquois beach was only a short drive away. There was lots of space to run around on the lawns and a playground and toy cars to play on. The view of the St Lawrence was spectacular and made for a gorgeous evening sitting on the dock, at the campfire or enjoying the sunset from our porch. We also enjoyed our day trip to Upper Canada Village which is only a short drive as well. I highly recommend this beautiful spot! "

You must either own or rent your own boat. This is your own private island, but we need you to have access to a boat to get on and off the island. To high of a liability to be on the island with no quick access on or of. Thank you for your compliance with this.
O'Connor Island is a 1.1-acre island in the St. Lawrence River. The cottage, which is about 1000 sq. feet, and is on the highest part of the island, 40 feet above the water line, with extensive decks and unparalleled views of the river. Enjoy coffee out front in the morning and cocktails in the afternoon.
The cottage has a master bedroom with a queen size bed and private half bath, and a second bedroom has bunk beds. The second bathroom has a tub and shower. All linens are provided. There is a large flat screen TV with satellite and Firestick in the living room. There is also a smaller smart TV with a DVD player in the bedroom with the bunk beds. The Wi-Fi works throughout the cottage and on the decks outside of the cottage. Download speeds are good for about 2 to 4 devices streaming at once, on those rainy days you are stuck inside. We added a new wi-fi router this year with a larger footprint area. Speeds are ok for 2 or 3 devices at once, but if you bring an XBOX and try to stream movies and play games all at once, you will get lag. Remember you are in the middle of the river, so speeds vary.
The kitchen has a microwave, automatic ice maker, coffee maker, and a four-burner range with an oven. Bring bottled water to drink. While we do have running water it is strongly advised not to drink it. The dining room table seats 6 to 8. The sofa bed in the living room sleeps 2.
The cove is ideal for swimming, make sure you wear some type of protective footwear when wading in the water, it is a rocky bottom along with zebra muscles. The boathouse can accommodate 2 smaller boats and there is extensive dock space which can accommodate boats up to 36 feet. There are shore power hookups inside the boathouse and on the dock outside for larger boats. Drafts with average river water levels are 8+ feet deep to 2.5+ feet closer to the island.
In the afternoon, enjoy the breeze coming off Lake Ontario. It the wind is too strong, retreat to the decks on the east side of the cottage where someone may be using the gas grill.
Tired of cooking? The Ivy Lea Club has a five-star restaurant. It is just a few minutes away by boat.
O'Connor Island will be available for rental from mid June 2025 to October 2025 and Mid May 2026 to Mid October 2026
Rates are $275 USD in 2025, a 2-night minimum stay is also required
O'Connor Island is only accessible by boat, we only accept renters who can comply with these options for arriving to our island.
1 - Bring your own boat, launching is available at Peck's Marina (which is closest to the island, but other options are available in the Ivy Lea area)
2 - Rent a boat at Peck's Marina, or at other close by marinas in the area
Former renters, I know in times past we have worked with you with water taxi services to get you to and from the island. We have come to the decision that the liability is too high for you and your family to be on the island without a way to get off quickly if you have emergency. I hope you understand.
Whichever option you can choose, Jeff will be there to greet you and show you around. The boat ride from Peck’s Marina/Ivy Lea area to the island is about 5 - 10 minutes.
- "We enjoyed a week on this island getaway with our two dogs. Went swimming and paddle boarding with them. Jeff (property manager) and Eric (owner) were great. Informative and easy to contact when required. Weather was great except for the last 2 days." - "Had a great time on O’Connor island. We will be back!" - "We absolutely love this place! The location is incredible and the water is clean to swim. I wish we could get away from work more so we could book more time there. Our teenage girls love spending time there. Privacy is amazing because you are on the island alone. Sitting on the adirondack chairs for morning coffee, listening to the loons is the best time of day! Already booked for next summer!! ❤️"

The calm water is great for kayaking or an adventure in the covered peddle boat. In winter, the lake will freeze over early and present the opportunity to skate or go ice fishing. There is a public dock located at the west side of the lake, so feel free to bring your boat or jet ski(s). There is plenty of parking at the cottage for your trailer and a dock to tie up to.

Come enjoy this intimate cottage.
✨We offer food for extra small fee for whoever is interested! (Need to book in advance - message me for info) ✨
This cottage is PERFECT FOR 4 PEOPLE :
2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each room.
ADDITIONALLY PROVIDED: queen air mattress which you can place anywhere for additional 2 guests.
Be aware this is not a big cottage, it’s nice and intimate and only has 1 bathroom. If coming with a big group, be aware it’s not a big property!
Please keep in mind that this is a "small intimate cottage" experience. Although the cottage is equipped with AC and heat, it will not be temperature controlled like a home or hotel would be. Usually temperature is good but on very hot or cold days the cottage can be affected! Also be aware that since this is a cottage experience and not a hotel, it also looks this way.
The second floor in which the second bedroom is located has steep stairs which may be challenging for elderly or young children. The ceiling on the second floor is not the highest as shown in photos. It’s perfect just for sleeping in the room.
✨✨✨For your comfort, please keep the door closed at all times to avoid bugs entering the cottage.
Last but not least, the neighbourhood is very nice and quiet but there is a fire station in front of the cottage on the Main Street. 99% of the time people don’t realize so as it barely makes noise but once in a while they will make a little bit of noise / some lights. Bonus side: you’re extra safe 😉
✨KITCHEN✨
Be aware there is no stove / oven BUT!
Perfect for short stay as we have:
- microwave ✅
- air fryer ✅
- instant pot & rice cooker ✅
- toaster✅
- water dispenser (cold & hot water)✅
- plates & bowls
- cutlery
- cups & mugs
- cutting board
WE PROVIDE:
All bed sheets / blankets available / towels / body wash
- "We spent a night here. The cottage is small but cute and enough for a family. The owner is very friendly and willing to help the traveller. The breakfast was okay and reasonable for the price but could be even better. The area is very quiet especially in week days. You can find a lot picturesque locations in there. I wish I could spend at least a day in that area. " - "We recently had the pleasure of staying at this Cottage. It has all the necessary cooking equipment and utensils. Very quite and safe environment around the property."

The Blue Fox Cottage is located directly on the tranquil and majestic Graham Lake. Experience beautiful sunsets like you've never seen before, enjoy your morning coffee on the private dock, go canoeing, and relax in the hot tub or around the fireplace all year round!
With two bedrooms and a large pullout bed, central air conditioning, heating and an indoor fireplace, this 4-season, pet friendly cottage accommodates 6 people comfortably.
The Summer:
The most beautiful time of the year! Although not as quiet as the other seasons due to the surrounding campground - Nothing beats the warm weather, gorgeous sunsets, barbecuing, canoeing, fishing, sitting on the dock and relaxing in the hot tub.
Please note: The lake develops weeds and algae during the hot summer months, which creates undesirable swimming conditions. We always recommend beautiful beaches in the area for guests looking to swim!
The Fall:
September to November offers the best views of the Fall foliage. Spend the warm days on dock and cool nights in the hot tub or by our indoor fireplace.
The Winter:
The cottage is located on a shallow lake, which freezes over very early in the year. This is perfect for skating and ice fishing. Guests can also grab a warm blanket and cozy up by the indoor fireplace. The hot tub is available all year round!
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: This cottage is private property located within a quiet and quaint seasonal campground that is operational during the Summer months. If you are looking for complete seclusion, this is not the place for you.

- "I wanted to take my mom (and her dog) out of the city for a few days. This was a good choice. We picked up some groceries in Brockville (about 15 minutes away) and spent a couple of days here. The place is as described and I had some good communication with Eric who was always happy to help out. Single-floor cottage with a dock, coffee, a well-stocked kitchen, a hot tub, and even a washer-dryer. Mixed in with a campground, it wasn't very private, but nobody minded us."
