About The CREW Cabin

The CREW cabin is a pet free cottage that is located on Stones Lake which is only a short drive to the village of Calabogie, Ontario.

Main Floor

You will walk into an open concept kitchen and living area with vaulted ceilings and large windows overlooking the lake. We offer a fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities to help you feel right at home (a full list of the kitchen supplies is below). Appliances include a fridge/ freezer, stove, toaster, drip coffee maker, blender, kettle, microwave and dishwasher. The dining area looks out over the lake and seats 6 people comfortably. Both the kitchen and living room have glass doors that lead to the deck that spans the length of the entire cottage. Enjoy the large comfy couch in the main living room that allows for the perfect Netflix and Chill night as you cozy in to watch TV on the 55' TV. Right off the main living room is the main floor bathroom and master bedroom.

Bedrooms

The CREW cabin has three bedrooms, each bedroom has a queen size bed in it. Our cabin has a maximum capacity of 6 occupants. The master bedroom is located on the main floor, it has sliding glass doors leading to the porch, a queen size bed, bedside tables, and a dresser to store your belongings.

Bedroom 2 and 3 are located downstairs.

Lower Level - Entertainment Section

The walkout lower level has two bedrooms, a full bathroom and a second living room for the kids to escape to. In the living room, there is a second comfy couch, another 55" TV with Netflix, books, games. It is surely a space the kids can call their own! For those who need to work while staying at the CREW cabin, there is a desk set up for you as well.

Bathrooms

Both levels of the cottage have a full bathroom. Each bathroom has a toilet, sink, vanity and shower. Bath towels (one per guest) are provided. We ask that you bring your own beach towels.

Waterfront

We recommend entering the water from the end of the dock ONLY.

The lake has excellent fishing, especially if you're looking to catch some bass or pike. These can be caught right off the dock, make sure you have a fishing license! Remember to check out when the free family fishing weekends are! There is one kayak for your use, but remember to bring your own lifejackets!

Charming 4 season, 3 bed, 2 bath lake house on the tranquil Olmstead-Jeffrey Lake. Open concept main floor has spacious kitchen, dining and living room, a full bathroom and a large primary bedroom with a king bed. This level is also has a large sun room overlooking the lake with seating area and dining table and a screened in porch with a two person hot tub.

The basement has a large rec room with tv and games table, a bedroom with a queen sized bed, another bedroom with a double bed and a twin/twin bunkbed and a full bathroom.

The exterior has a a deck with a BBQ and dining table, spacious front porch and 2 additional seating areas.

The space

The outdoors is full of wildlife. Beautiful and crystal water lake great and SAFE for kids as the water level is very low. There is no outside access or public boat launch.
High outdoor netting gazebo with very comfortable couch and table to admire the sunset.
It offers exceptional fishing all year round where the bite is always on. Enjoy locking on to rod bending bass during the summer, or if you prefer winter fishing, the lake has plenty of pickeral/walleye and pike.
If it's exercise you seek, strap on your cross country skis or snowshoes and enjoy the peace and serenity of cottage country.
The snowmobile trail is 500 meters away from the cottage (Route 108), allowing you hours of trail riding.

Our farm cottage at the Gulleyfarm dairy is rented out to guests who are looking for a getaway on the country site. The farm is beautifully located at the forestry shore of the Bonnechère River. Our fully equipped yurt is located 10 minutes from Arnprior along the Madawaska River. The yurt provides almost 700sqft of open space with 14 foot ceiling in the centre. Beautiful wide plank pine floors make for a warm rustic feel. The tinted dome provides ample light and a lovely glimpse of the sky. The yurt has 8 large windows and the dome opens as well for great airflow and a camping feel. We also have a pellet stove for chilly nights/mornings. The kitchen is equipped with toaster oven, 2 burner induction plate, Cuisinart panini, and a plethora of other amenities. The night time toilet closet has a camp toilet and there is a nearby outhouse and outdoor shower. A 200m walk will get you down to the river edge where you'll find an upper and lower deck with ample seating and a large floating dock nestled in a picturesque setting. You find this part of the river to be exceptionally quiet. Paddle boards and amateur fishing gear are available for your use. Feel free to bring your own water toys.

Other amenities include badminton/volleyball set, outdoor dart board, bbq, large picnic table, fire pit, extra outdoor chairs.

Picture a scenic one hour drive west of Ottawa to an easily accessible, hidden gem of a property that offers something for every guest. A spacious parking area surrounded by a huge front yard with gorgeous trees and lush gardens greets you, as you are beckoned down the walkway to our private lake house. As you port your belongings down the stairs, you will notice a storage garage housing a variety of outdoor games and split wood for the conveniently located fire pit. Enter and you will be greeted by the fully stocked kitchen, complete with dining area and a Coke fridge to chill your favourite beverages. You will immediately feel at home as you explore the living space with its cozy, warm decor and magnificent views. A very important feature is that our beds and all of our furniture are very comfortable! You will be drawn outside to experience the upper deck, complete with covered outdoor kitchen, bbq and sitting areas, under a cooling canopy of towering pine trees and overlooking picturesque Jeffrey Lake. Take the gradual stairway down to the sprawling lower deck, outfitted with multiple shaded seating options, a fire table, a tiki hut with its own propane grill and of course, the legendary water slide! You will be delighted to learn that the water is 10 feet deep off the dock, perfect for mom’s graceful dives and dad’s cannonballs! Enjoy access to the stand up paddle boards that you can take out to explore the lake. Lounge, swim, paddle, fish (fantastic fishing!) and more, under full days of sunshine, and gorgeous evening sunsets. Come make some lifelong memories at the lake with your people. Cozy and quiet cottage on Stones Lake, Calabogie. Have a swim and then suntan on our beautiful sandy beach or read a book in our shaded seating area under a cluster of maple trees. Fish off our dock then have a BBQ dinner on our deck overlooking the water before sitting around a roaring campfire into the night. Cottage is completely renovated with new appliances and furnished beautifully. It’s air conditioned to keep you nice and cool in the summer and there is a brand new wood stove to keep you comfy warm in the winter. Our guests love how quiet our cottage is with no visible neighbours on either side of us and no cottages across the lake. We look forward to hosting you!
