Cottage bookings are Friday to Friday in July and August with 2 day bookings in the spring and fall. Cottage has 2 bedrooms that sleeps 7 and one 3 piece bathroom. Includes, with no additional fees a 16 ft canoe, two sea kayaks, a junior kayak, standup paddle board, life jackets, hammock, dock, boat mooring anchor, 3 bicycle's, BBQ and propane, bonfire pit with wood, chairs, pick nick table and games room with ping pong and darts, etc.
One bedroom with a queen bed and second in a large long room with three double beds and a upper twin bunk bed. Living room has an excellent view of the lake with air tight wood stove on a stone hearth, electric base board heat throughout.
Games room is in one bay of the garage.
The west side of the lake is usually calm with prevailing westerly winds blowing off shore, great paddling since located in the bay between the Bonnechere and Sherwood rivers.

Located in Killaloe Station, 18 miles from Bonnechere Provincial Park, Lakepoint Cottage Resort has accommodations with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and water sports facilities. 22 miles from bonnechere caves, the resort provides a private beach area and barbecue facilities. The resort has a sauna, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. At the resort, rooms come with a patio with a lake view. Rooms contain a coffee machine and a private bathroom with a shower, while certain rooms are equipped with a kitchen equipped with a fridge. At Lakepoint Cottage Resort, rooms include air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The accommodation has a playground. You can play pool and table tennis at Lakepoint Cottage Resort, and the area is popular for hiking and fishing. The nearest airport is Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport, 100 miles from the resort.

Our cottage is a quaint 2 bedroom bungalow with a sandy beachfront and beautiful sunsets! The cottage sleeps 5 in total. There is a hid-a-bed couch should you want to add 2 guests. There is one full piece bath, an eat-in kitchen, living room with floor to ceiling fireplace and a screened in sun porch for lazing around and enjoying a peaceful view of the lake. The cottage’s main water source comes from the lake, even though it is filtered I do not recommend you drink it therefore, there is a water cooler provided for drinking, washing/rinsing purposes (2 empty jugs are supplied and can be exchanged in local town for new full jugs) a stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker with filters, and a Tassimo machine (Coffee pods not supplied), a toaster, TV with DVD/VCR player and a selection of children's and Adult PG movies. Outdoor facilities include a propane BBQ (an **empty tank (**last guests who filled/exchanged tank may not have used it all) is provided, and can be exchanged in local town for a full one), an outdoor swing, 3 kayaks, a paddleboat and a paddle board, clothes line and a fire pit (wood can be purchased in the local village of Cobden). All items are “use at your own risk”. Your boat(s) must be launched at the boat launch in Cobden as there is no boat access to the lake at the cottage. This peaceful location can offer great fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The sandy beachfront is perfect for sunbathing and just relaxing.

Note: **Blue Algae is a natural occurrence in lakes in Ontario and can bloom during an extended hot period over the summer. In the past the municipality said it has been sited approximately 5 km’s down the lake on the opposite side from our cottage, at the local beach/boat launch.

**Fire Bans may also be a normal occurrence during a extended hot/dry periods during the summer months according to the Cobden Fire Department.

**Weeds are a natural occurrence in a lake and may be more liberal around the shoreline if not disturbed by swimmers and boaters alike.

***Renters will be contacted by me and/or the authorities that govern these occurrences should it become unsafe to swim or have a camp fire during your stay.

***Cancellations, discounts, and/or refunds will not be accepted based on the fact that these restrictions MAY occur over the course of the summer, before or during your stay within the normal cancellation policy.

The local town of Cobden offers artisan shopping, a farmers market, a beach and a boat launch. There is white-water rafting in the area, along with water slides, mini golf, and zip-lining at Logos Land. The Oaks of Cobden golf course and the Whitetail Golf Club are close by also. The small city of Pembroke is a great place for dining out, shopping, including a drive-in theatre, and it is just a 1/2 hour drive.

Additionally, there is a fully furnished kitchen featuring granite countertops and a wine counter with hand-carved stools. Vacationing with the family? Loon Lodge features a renovated, heated Bunkie (additional weekly rental fee) with a screened in porch. Clean and prepare your fresh catch at the fish cleaning station complete with counter and utility sink, located just adjacent to the front entry, in the mudroom. We call it the “bowling alley”, you’ll see why!

Beautiful view of the Ottawa River, sunsets, dock for swimming, fishing and relaxation!! Large eat-in kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher and also has a washer and dryer just off the kitchen. Large bathroom on the main floor including large whirlpool tub, stand alone shower. A second 2 piece bathroom upstairs in the master bedroom and a third 3 piece bathroom in the basement. Large screen TV with satellite dish in the family room just off the kitchen. Internet and free wifi available in the cottage. Sit on the wrap around veranda at night with a nice glass of wine and watch the beautiful sunsets every night. Plenty to do with the kayak, canoe, paddle boats and long walks. Convenient store in Westmeath Village with fresh meat, milk, liquor and beer store on site and a gas station. Great place to relax and enjoy your holidays! The pond in the back of the house is not for swimming and parents should not let the children play without supervision.

Pine Haven cottage sits perched above Round Lake under the pine trees, with south west exposure, a stunning lake view, shallow water entry and crystal clear water. Water visibility is high and there are no weeds, as the lake is fed from adjacent Algonquin Park.

Pine Haven is perfect for a relaxing family vacation. The main cottage is one level. It has three bedrooms; two bedrooms each with queen beds, and a third bedroom with a queen and a twin bed. There is also a twin size folding cot with mattress.
The cottage has an open concept kitchen, dining and living area, with huge windows on all sides. The kitchen is stocked with essentials. The bright and airy living room includes a huge sectional sofa, and a smart TV with Roku for Netflix. There is good Wi-Fi.

Outdoors, a fire pit overlooks the lake, with beautiful views across the water. A large patio includes a propane BBQ (propane provided), picnic table and more chairs overlooking the water.

A few steps down from the main house, sits the 3-season boathouse, an open space for adults and/or the kids/teens to hangout. The boathouse includes a bar, dartboard and is well stocked with games for all ages. A deck overlooks the water with another incredible view to take in while enjoying your coffee or an evening drink while listening to the loons.

Walk a few more steps down to the water, and you’ll find a natural, rocky shoreline. Visibility is very high and there are no weeds. In the boathouse, we have a huge water mat, a canoe with paddles, 2 kayaks, and 2 inflatable SUPs for your enjoyment. We have various sizes of life jackets (adults, youth) but we recommend bringing your own to ensure the best fit for safety.

Spend your sunny days on the water, and your rainy days in the main cottage or the boat house watching movies or playing games. The list of things to do in the surrounding area is amazing. You are about a 5 minute drive from Foy Provincial Park, which has a beautiful sand beach. Bonnechere Provincial Park is just a 12 minute drive around the lake.

- Minimum weekly (FRIDAY to FRIDAY) rentals only in July and August.
- Fire pit outside can be enjoyed following local rules and regulations. (Wood is not provided for the fire pit but can be purchased from several nearby stores). The Wood stove inside the cottage is not in use at this time.
- The water is not drinkable. Please bring your own water. A water dispenser (that fits any 5 gal jug) is available for use. Refills are available at the local general store.
- Linens are provided. Please bring beach and bath towels.
- No more than 8 guests on the property.
- The cottage sleeps 6-7 adults comfortably but can accommodate 8 people (including a foldaway cot).
- We love our neighbours and they are very respectful of the fact that a cottage is meant for fun and relaxation; however, noise travels so please be mindful!
- There are about 25 steps from the main cottage down to the water. This may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
- Water shoes are recommended as the shoreline is rocky.
- We are pet friendly (max 1 dog). Please bring something to cover the furniture and beds if your dog thinks they're human and is on the furniture.
- Use of Canoe, kayaks and SUPs is included in your stay! Please use AT YOUR OWN RISK. Use appropriate safety equipment supplied or bring your own. Users must be 16 years or older or accompanied by an adult.
- Those with mobility issues may have a harder time getting down to the water. There are approx. 30 steps down from the main house.
- 2 hours from Ottawa, and just under 4 hours from Toronto.

The space
Walk through the front door and the first thing you see is a beautiful wall to wall window that overlooks the lake. The view is magical! When you walk further into that great room, you have the feeling that you are almost outdoors while still enjoying the cozy comforts of the warm gas fireplace, oversized sectional and 70” TV.

You will find everything you need in the kitchen and more, including another beautiful view of the lake. A patio door gives you access to a 5x6 landing where you’ll find a propane griddle that will surely impress. On many occasions, we’ve cooked 30 eggs, 4 packs of bacon and a healthy serving of hashbrows all on the gridle at the same time. Why use 3 different pans when you can cook everything on 1 surface!

- "February's Family Day tradition of 4 families (related by being neighbours for 20 years). First year in 15 not in single cabins in the Madawaska Valley where we ski, icefish, sled, skate snowshoe, eat, drink, play boardgames and puzzling on top of the physical activities and mammoth meals. This house was the creme de la creme for all of that, and only one kitchen to clean. Host was super, didn't overload with details, if we couldn't work something out we were able to reach out for a quick answer. Clean, spacious, lots of private space if you wanted to read! - Or go outside to play: we offer our badminton court, you can set up spikeball on the beach, you can try out the slackline, or enjoy a game of tetherball.

- Or go outside to connect with your guests: with 2 campfire pits you can pick the best location for your group, or you can try out the sauna.

- Kids love to play on the large sandy beach - even in fall. It's a gradual entry, so a great location for swimming (though there are clams so water shoes are recommended). In fall, and depending on ages, you can enjoy the lower deck, while they build the sandcastles of their dreams.

- Walk the beach or bring your bikes and go for a ride along the country roads.

- Read a book on our lower deck while watching the sunrise or sunset, fish off the dock, or fall asleep in the hammock.

Prefer some time indoors?
- The screened-in porch will become a favourite place to relax, read, catch up with friends or dine at this time of year. We include 2 electric space heaters so you can enjoy the fresh air during the daytime, and as it moves into evening, you can quickly heat up the space.

- Enjoy some games - we have a closet filled with board games and puzzles, as well as a separate table for crokinole, a foosball table (upstairs), and more!

- High-speed Starlink Internet means that you can work (or watch Netflix) easily.

- Cook up a storm in our well-provisioned kitchen. There are 2 fridges to store whatever you bring, and all sorts of appliances: stand mixer, blender, rice-maker, 2 raclettes, and more. If you need something in particular, please just ask so we can be 100% sure, but it's very likely that whatever you're looking for is already there.

Family home atmosphere -big enough to escape the crowd & cozy enough for family entertainment. Outdoor activities - canoeing, kayaking, building sandcastles, swing set, sauna, Indoor games galore for rainy days. Mosquitoes & some poison ivy were noted but the same was noted at a nearby must-see : Bonnechere Caves. Cottage was very clean. Full kitchen & lots of cupboard space. We all loved our stay for different reasons. Five stars ++. We're thinking of renting again next year!!"

- "All in all everything was fine. I would suggest however that better dish towels and Dish rags be provided as the ones there were bottom of the line dollar store non-absorbent. Also a dishwasher would have been great, the last thing I want to do on vacation is washed dishes. More bathroom towels also would have been useful. We would consider renting again."

Fully-equipped with modern amenities, the house is completely powered by solar and self-sustaining. You will feel completely detached from the outside world. Come relax with unparalleled scenery and easy access to the best the Ottawa Valley has to offer. This is truly a one of a kind property!

Property Details and Inclusions:
This is our family home and we maintain it as such. This home was custom built with attention to detail and designer finishes. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, this is the perfect retreat for families and friends looking to get away from the city. From sunrise to sundown, the property offers a tranquil getaway with just the right mix of fire, water and relaxation. Includes BBQ, patio furniture, screened-in porch, wood and gas fireplaces, full laundry, fire-pits, water toys, kayaks for adults and kids, and dock with boat access.

Located at the end of the bay, the landscape offers semblance of a quiet private lake. There are currently no other homes in the bay, which affords the ultimate private escape. With some of the best whitewater rapids just down the river, you will see boats cruising to and from there.

We are self-sustaining thanks to our solar power system and standby propane generator. The home is on well and septic. For the cooler evenings, we have a high efficiency wood-burning fireplace on the main floor and a propane fireplace on the walkout level. The Starlink internet allows you to stay fully connected via Wifi calling, and streaming apps are installed on the TVs. With a dedicate workstation, you can work or play to your heart's desire.

The kitchen is fully-equipped with walk-in pantry and wine/beer fridge, and has everything you need to prepare family meals. Laundry machines and utility sink located on walk-out level.

All the furniture is brand new. All mattresses are 10-inch memory foam and extremely comfortable. The great room features a vaulted ceiling, loft and large windows to maximize the view. All bedrooms have ceiling fans to keep you comfortable during your stay. It can get hot during the peak summer days, but the mornings and evenings are cooler with the windows open and breeze off the water.

The screened-in porch is an excellent space to enjoy your morning coffee or to retreat to in the evening after a long day.

Guess Access:
- Guests have access to the entire home and over an acre of space outdoors.
- Nearby you will find world class high adventure whitewater rafting, lazy river tubing, whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, hiking trails, fishing, ATV trails, craft breweries & golf courses.

The house is tucked away in the the quiet corner of Petawawa point, so you will have all the privacy of being outside the city, but with the convenience of being just a short drive to local amenities.

The home boasts two large bedrooms each with queen beds and a third bedroom that is equipped with bunk beds (two fulls), perfect for the kids.

You will also have access to a fully functional kitchen to feed the bodies after a day at the beach or on the water.

The home also has a side deck and door which can be used to enter and exit the home.

this cottage also has a pullout couch with another double bed, accommodating up to 6 people in total.

Our 650 sq ft 1940's cedar log cabin is located a few feet from the waters edge. Great beach with hard sand in the lake, small rocks at the edge of the water. No weeds. Lots of sun, firepit by the lake, private deck. Note: we only rent by the week in July/August Friday through Friday

The space
I will be implementing a strict cleaning protocol that includes a complete sanitizing of all surfaces, appliances, high touch areas etc. I will leave a supply of cleaning products. A 650 sq ft re-modeled 1940's cedar log cabin with a great room and spectacular views. One bedroom with a queen size bed and lake views. A double pull out couch in the great room. A small but efficient kitchen with microwave, full size fridge, toaster oven, coffee maker toaster, single induction burner and BBQ. (no traditional stove/oven in cabin). A small bathroom with a shower, vanity and toilet. Outdoor dining on a private deck overlooking the lake and the fire pit area. We have installed a 300ft deep well in the spring of 2021. The water is safe to drink.

Cable TV with sports and news package, unlimited internet access, DVD player, Canoe, 2 kayaks and lifejackets are provided.

I am available to answer any questions about the area at all times. We live 30 minutes from the cottage. A binder with local information is located in end table drawer.

Guest access
Guest is supplied with directions. Upon arrival you will find a lockbox by the lakefront door with a keycode to access the keys. We do not have any cameras on the property

Other things to note
We allow pets but charge a $75 pet fee for your stay. If you are bringing your pet please inform me and either leave payment on the counter or it can be deducted from your security deposit.

During the summer the cabin can get hot, we suggest you close the curtains around 1 in the afternoon to keep the direct sun out. We have a heat exchange that helps with the heat when set on air condition mode.

Our cottage is nestled amongst the trees giving you plenty of privacy to enjoy your vacation. Come enjoy activities like fishing, kayaking, hiking, or just hang out by with water with a book. Don't forget to gather around the bonfire with your friends and family. It’s the perfect place to unwind and make memories.

The space
This updated cottage has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and 1 bedroom with two single beds.
The main living area has a comfortable sofa with a smart TV.
There is also Starlink WIFI in the cottage.
There is a full kitchen with a fridge, coffee maker, kettle, stove, toaster and microwave. As well as dishes, pots, pans, glasses, cutlery, and cooking utensils.
There are two heating options in the cottage, there is a wood stove as well as electrical heaters. The outdoor area has a covered porch, lake views, BBQ with propane included, picnic table and fire pit.

We sell firewood onsite for $10/bundle

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cottage, there is also a private outdoor lakefront area with seating, BBQ, firepit, and picnic table. You can explore the whole property, walk up to the peninsula for a 360 degrees lakeview.

Guests must bring their own linens for the beds and towels. These items are not provided in the cottage.

Nestled underneath tall whispering pines, this charming 3 bedroom cottage has everything you need for a scenic and serene family or couple getaway.

The private dock moors a peddle boat, paddle boat, and canoe as well as ladder access to swimming out into the lake.

It’s quiet, backed off highway 60, yet only 7 min. from Killaloe, 20 min. to Barry’s Bay and within an hour to Algonquin park, or the Bonnechere Caves.

The space
While the cottage is rustic, as the pictures show, it does have all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The heat is solely from a wood stove in the living room area so it’s important that you’re familiar with how to start and run a wood stove as evenings may be chilly.

It is nestled under those beautiful big trees, where little critters live, and nature is very close and friendly so expect some wee guests. We do provide clear plastic bins for your dry goods so they’re not shared 😉
The water is filtered and goes through UV, so it’s potable, however we recommend you bring bottled drinking water for your enjoyment.

We do not automatically provide all linens. We provide dish cloths and paper towels. Please bring your own bathing/swimming towels. There is one Queen bed and two singles downstairs and a Queen and single up in the loft. If you require bed linens on your stay please let us know and we will supply.

Whitefield Cottage Rental Agreement

1. OCCUPANCY
a) Any person, regardless of age is considered a “renter/occupant” of Whitefield Cottage.

b) Renters/Occupants who allow guests at Whitefield Cottage, either daytime or overnight in excess of the pre-authorized maximum number of occupants will be subject to either immediate eviction without refund, or a $100.00 per unauthorized guest charge, at the sole discretion of the Owner.

c) Sub-letting of Whitefield Cottage is not permitted. Where separate parties will be occupying Whitefield Cottage at different time periods, Rental agreements must be completed and accepted by the Owner for each party.

d) Camping, tenting, trailers, or other additional accommodations facilities are not permitted on Whitefield Cottage property unless previous written permission has been obtained from the Owner.

2. RESTRICTIONS
a) The Renter agrees to abide by all the restrictions set out in the Whitefield Cottage Rental Agreement.

b) The Renter agrees that he/she is responsible for the adherence to these restrictions of any and all occupants to Whitefield Cottage during his/her stay.

3. PETS & SMOKING
a) No pet policy in effect, unless authorized by owner.
b) No Smoking inside Whitefield Cottage.

4. GENERAL
a) The Renter acknowledges that there are surveillance cameras on the outside of the property for the safety and protection of the Property as well as the Renter.
b) The Renter acknowledges that there are door, window and motion sensors inside the property but remain inactive during the Renter’s stay. (Alarm system).

CHECK-IN TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. PARKING
a) Vehicles should not be driven or parked on the grass.
There are drainage pipes under the grass as well as the septic tank that can be damaged if driven over.

2. KITCHEN
a) Renters will bring all personal necessities such as drinking water, grocery items, paper towels, etc.

b) All cupboards and drawers have been labelled for easy use.
Cupboards and drawers with no labels are left empty to allow Renters space for their items during their stay.

c) All cupboards have pictures inside to help Renter put away the belongings.

d) The refrigerator is provided in a clean and empty state with 4 ice cube trays in the freezer.

e) A water cooler is available for use. Renters may bring their own jugs (15L) to use the cooler.

3. BATHROOM
a) Renter will bring all personal necessities such as toilet paper, toiletries, bath towels etc.

b) Septic Safe Toilet Paper can be purchased at several stores (Costco, Walmart etc.), including the Freshmart in Eganville.
Paper towel, wipes and other sanitary paper should not be flushed down the toilet.

4. DISH/HAND SOAP
a) The hand soap in the 2 bathrooms and kitchen as well as the dish soap in the kitchen have been refilled for the Renter’s use.

b) In the event that the items finish, the bottles to re-fill them are under the kitchen sink.

c) Dish washer detergent can be found in the drawer labelled “Cleaning Supplies”

5. LAUNDRY DETERGENT
a) Laundry detergent is provided.

6. GARBAGE
a) All garbage including bottle caps/cigarette butts must be cleaned up outdoors daily to avoid unwanted animals.
Do not throw garbage or waste into the lake, pond water or fire pit.

b) All collected garbage should be put into the provided large clear garbage bags first before keeping them in the Garbage Bins under the carport.

c) Garbage Bins are to be kept locked at all times.

d) The key for the Garbage Bins can be found on the key holder in the Kitchen/Dinning area. (The wall on the left after the front closet).
Both Garbage Bins use the same key.

7. KAYAKS, PADDLE BOAT & MUSKOKA CHAIRS
a) There are 2 Kayaks, 1 Paddle Boat and 14 Muskoka chairs available for Renters to use.

b) Alcohol beverages are prohibited on all boats and kayaks.

c) The kayaks must be pulled up to the grass area when not in use, along with the paddles for them to avoid the lake carrying them away.

d) The paddleboat must be attached to the dock when not in use.

e) The paddle boat and kayaks are all kept in the Red Shed at the back of the property.

f) The key to the Shed can be found on the key holder in the Kitchen/Dinning area. (The wall on the left after the front closet).

8. LIFEJACKETS
a) Life Jackets are provided for Renter’s safety.
They are kept in the Supply Room of the lower level of the cottage (near foosball table).

9. BBQ PROPANE TANK
a) Renters are provided with 1 full tank of propane for their barbecuing needs.

b) Renters can contact the Owner if they require a refill.
Refills are $25 per tank.

10. FIRE PIT
a) The fire pit can be used at the Renter’s discretion. Owner is not responsible for any injury or bodily harm caused by the fire, fire pit or activity in general.

b) Firewood is supplied at the request of the Renter (1st Bundle Included / Additional Bundles Fee: $10.00/bundle).
Renters should not use the wood on the backside of the garage.
Garbage cannot be burnt in the fire pit

c) Watering tool can be found in the Shed. It must be kept within reach, with water, anytime fire pit is being used.

11. WIFI
a) The internet information is provided on the wall next to the main bathroom.

12. FIRE STOVE
a) The fire stove in the basement living room is NOT to be used or tampered
with. If term is violated, a fee will be deducted for any damage as well as any additional cleaning required.

13. GENERAL
a) Basic cleaning supplies have been provided. Renters are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Whitefield Cottage, including the bathroom, kitchen sink, microwave and stove.

b) Outdoor shoes/water shoes must not be worn inside the house.

c) Keep outdoor noise to a minimum and to a decent hour of the night.

d) A landline is available for Renter’s use as the reception on cell service is not steady. Calls within Ontario are free; any charges incurred for additional calls made will be charged to the Renter.

e) On the day of check in, take a few minutes to look around the cottage and please inform the owners of any items that appear to be missing, broken/damaged.

CHECK-OUT TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. KITCHEN
a) Renter will ensure all items are placed in their appropriate places based on the labels in the kitchen. Please use the pictures for guidance.

b) All cabinets and drawers with no labels should have no items left in them.

c) Renter is responsible for emptying out all cabinets, drawers and refrigerator of their personal items.
Renter will take back all food items, condiments, spices etc.,

d) The dishwasher must be run and emptied out prior to check-out. Ensure items are dry before placing in drawers & cupboards.
Cleaners charge additional for unloading the dishwasher. Renter will be responsible for this fee if dishwasher is not unloaded.

2. BATHROOM
a) All bathroom cupboards and drawers will be emptied out of personal belongings.

3. GARBAGE
a) Bottle removal from the property is the responsibility of the Renter unless otherwise agreed upon with the Owner
A fee will apply to any excess garbage left on the property not discussed with the Owner.

b) Once Garbage Bins (under Car Port) are used, they should be locked up.
Please return key to holder found in the Kitchen/Dinning area. (The wall on the left after the front closet).

d) There are several local landfill sites located a short drive away, here some suggestions if you need to dispose your own garbage:
• Shaw Woods Road
• Berndt Road Transfer Site
• Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Centre

4. GARBAGE PICK UP OPTION
a) 4 bags total of Recycling & Garbage included for bookings over $1200 (Rental Fee). Additional fees apply if more bags are left.
Otherwise Renter can request for Garbage to be picked up at the end of the stay for a fee of $5/bag (***Limit: 4 Bags in TOTAL (Garbage & Recycling)

i) Garbage will need to be tied up into the large clear garbage bags. (Bags are provided)

ii) Recycling will need to be tied up into the large blue recycling bags. (Bags are provided)

iii) The bags will need to be placed into the black/grey Garbage Bins under the carport.
• ANY items left outside of bags will be charged additionally at a rate deemed necessary by the Owner.
• Additional fees also apply if the bags are overfilled/too heavy causing them to break.

5. KAYAKS, PADDLE BOAT & MUSKOKA CHAIRS
a) The 2 Kayaks will need to be put back in the Red Shed at the end of your stay.

b) From Jun 1 to Sept 5, the Paddle Boat can be left secured to the dock and all the Muskoka chairs left under the gazebo or lower deck.

c) During the remainder of the calendar year, the Paddle Boat will need to be put back in the Red Shed. The Muskoka Chairs will need to be left under the gazebo or lower deck.

d) Renters will lock the Shed and return the key to the key holder found in the Kitchen/Dinning area. (The wall on the left after the front closet).

6. LIFE JACKETS
a) All life jackets and water equipment taken from the supply room will need to be returned to this room.

7. BBQ PROPANE TANK
a) Please leave all used tanks on the bottom deck and ensure BBQ is left clean.

8. FIRE PIT
a) Empty out watering tool and return it back to the Shed.

9. GENERAL
a) It is the renter’s responsibility to clean the property to the same standard it was on arrival.

b) All floors should be cleaned of visible garbage, dirt and food items.

c) All garbage bags should be taken out.

d) Complete the Checkout Check List and leave it on the kitchen counter.

e) Turn off all lights and ensure all windows and doors are locked.

f) Please call us for any questions or assistance.

Welcome to beautiful Golden Lake where you will find a sprawling sand beach with gradual entry swimming waterfront. Located 1.5hr from Ottawa. 4 hours from Toronto. 35 minutes from pembroke. 5 minutes to Killaloe where you will find LCBO and a small grocery store. 2 minutes to boat launch and 5 minutes to the Reserve.

The space
Come enjoy the beautiful sand beach and swimming. The main floor has the queen bed with ensuite. The second floor has 2 double beds with a bathroom attached to this room with air conditioning in this room. The main floor has a living room with a smart tv. Ceiling fans throughout the main floor.

Outside you will find a covered porch overlooking the lake that is miles long. Cruise the shore in pedal boat included.

Remember it is not a luxury home. It is a cottage. This is a family cottage and want it to be kept that way. Please note if you have little kids that the stairs to the second level are open and that the property is located right off the highway.

This is a beautiful lake that is quiet and very boat friendly.

The space
This cottage has a bright interior that is airy and stylish. All rooms are located on one level, with a total of 1100 square feet of living space.
The sun-filled great room features comfortable sectional, and panoramic views of the beautiful lake. Here you can relax with your morning coffee, read a good book or enjoy a family board game.
The living room features a cozy sofa with two large chairs, complete with a flat-screen TV with Netflix. A corner gas fire place will take the chill out of a cool summer evening.

The space
A scenic 3.5 - 4 hour drive from the GTA and 1.5-hours from Ottawa. ~1 hour to Eastern Gates of Algonquin Park. Lovingly renovated and decorated. This oasis is truly the perfect retreat for couples, families or a close-knit group of friends with all the conveniences of resort amenities and nearby attractions all year round!

Westerly facing and 100 feet of waterfront, it is the perfect location for enjoying the beauty of Golden Lake year round.

During the summer months enjoy the private beach & dock, gradual sandy entry and shallower waters which are great for kids.  Kayaks available to explore the area and enjoy the peace and serenity of Golden Lake. Near by public boat launch, great swimming, hiking, fishing and so much more awaits!

During the fall you can experience the magic and splendor of fall colours alongside serene water. 5 minutes to Deacon Escarpment and an hour to Algonquin Park. Boating, fishing, hiking and cozying up by the outdoor fire pit to roast marshmallows and create great memories await you!

In the winter months come and enjoy the warmth of radiant heat and the fireplace and hibernate in the coziness of the cottage... or venture out to explore the outdoors!  We get lots of snow in this area with nearby trails for snow shoeing & snowmobiling (OFSC trails); enjoy ice skating; check out the ice oval racing at the annual Bonnechere Cup in Eganville... Venture over to the Opeongo Hills Nordic Center for a great day of cross country skiing (~30 min drive) or a day trip to Calabogie Peaks Ski hill for downhill skiing/snowboarding (~1hr drive)... or try your luck at ice fishing right on your doorstep. Also enjoy skating right on the lake ! A public rink is just near by!!!

Deacon Escarpment is also just 5 minutes away and offers a great playground for outdoor activities year round. Bonnechere Caves ~20 mins. Opeongo Hills Nordic Center ~30 mins away.

Kindly please take note- we have had a couple of unfortunate situations where dogs are wandering to neighbouring properties and this will not be tolerated at all! It is your responsibility to make sure your dog is tied at ALL times! In order for us to keep our cottage as Dog friendly we need to ensure that dogs are staying on the cottage property only !! I cannot stress this enough , the dog must be Tied or on a leash at all times!

> We are a 2 dog max pet friendly cottage . We kindly ask that you pick up after your pooch with the shovel and pail provided. Also please ensure that your dog does not wonder off of our property to neighbour’s or excessively bark!!

Enjoy some quiet time in the front sunroom, or upstairs in the loft. Firewood is on-site for your enjoyment. There is a waste station 8 minutes down the road for your garbage (we provide a voucher for our guests to use).

Our cottage is situated right on Golden Lake, with a beautiful private sandy beach. Enjoy sipping your morning coffee/tea right on the beach as you take in the stunning scenery around you. During the day, relax on the deck, lay on the beach, go for a swim, check out the local area, or a do mix of everything! In the evening, enjoy sipping on a cocktail, wine, beer, or other drink of choice while sitting around a fire on the beach. Just bring your own wood!

The space
Our cottage consists of 3 bedrooms. One bedroom has 2 single beds, and two bedrooms have queen beds. There is an additional sleeping area, off of one of the bedrooms which has a single bed as well.
There is a good size living room for relaxing with the whole family, a newly renovated and fully stocked kitchen, a dining room with beautiful lake views, and of course the deck and the beach, which speak for themselves!
