Other things to note
Our house is a small lodge with a wood burning stove and an artesian well system for water, our well water does have a strong sulfur smell and is not intended for consumption. we do provide 15 gallons of fresh drinking water for cooking with and consumption. Yes our water has a unique smell to it, but it is completely normal for water to have the odor it does in out region of the state. The Air Conditioning is a window unit seeming how it's really only used 2 months out of the year. The property has a shared driveway with other airbnbs and we are currently putting in trails and campsites along the creek along the trails in the back of the property. if you decide to walk the trails, please be cautious. they are not finished and currently being worked on. If you need help with anything there will always be a caretaker on or around the property to help you with anything . I wish the most convenient stay for all my guests and hope to fully disclose any issues or questions you may have with your stay!

This is a newly renovated unique 2 bedroom one bath apartment. Walking distance to the lake and downtown. Located on the first level of building (requiring taking a few steps up to enter). This unit features 10ft ceilings in living space and queen bedroom. The décor is simply gorgeous and airy. Included are plenty of amenities. Bedroom 1 -has (2) twin size beds. Bedroom 2- has a queen bed. These mattresses are memory comfort to minimize motion. The living room has a leather queen sofa bed that can accommodate (2) addt guests. All linens are cozy and comfortable. Pillows are all secured with allergen/dust mite protectors. Comforters are alternative down with duvet covers. We did not cook any meals, but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked. Most importantly, the property was extremely clean. The property has a couple little quirks, but they are part of the character that come with an apartment in an older home/building and do not detract from the overwhelmingly positive experience. I contacted the hosts once during our stay and they were wonderful and quick to respond. They had also given us some suggestions for local restaurants, activities, etc. that were great choices. One more thing to mention is the hosts's attention to detail. They have taken all the little extra steps to provide an overall welcoming and comfortable guest experience. I was traveling my two kids and this was the first stop during a week long trip across the state. We stayed in several different places and everyone agreed this was our favorite place during our trip!"

The space
The space is great private space with 3 bedrooms and bath. There is a large kitchen stocked with dishes, a fridge, stove and a microwave. Your bedroom is large but cozy. For your convenience and enjoyment the home has a Flat Screen smart TV, free NetFlix & free WiFi. If you’re traveling with someone or alone, the place is great for a warm comfortable stay on a low budget!

If you’re traveling with more than one guest who also needs a room we have other rooms available in the home. Just ask! They may be available for the same time. We also have other homes nearby. Simply search our listing or let us know.

Unwind and enjoy some quiet time on the front patio, perfect for relaxing or reading a book! The laundry room is conveniently located in the basement, making it easy to take care of your needs. Feel free to access everything in the kitchen for a seamless stay!

During your stay
Me and my daughter/assistant have office space within the home so we will be in and out.

Other things to note
1- If you have a car, the driveway is first come first serve. there is free on-street parking

If you have a question about a need or want to book more than 1 room, we can try and accommodate you! just ask!

2 - We would like to inform you that our property does not have central air conditioning, but we do provide fans in each room. Fortunately, Rochester's climate typically remains comfortable, and air conditioning is not always necessary.

However, during occasional hot spells, some guests choose to have a window AC unit installed in their room. If you’d like to arrange this, our maintenance team can assist with installation for a fee of $175. At checkout, we provide a partial refund for the AC unit based on the duration of your stay.
