These are all such nice, thoughtful touches and essentials before we could do a quick food shop. Food shopping not really necessary because Canandaigua has some great restaurants. It's close to a number of great restaurants but on a quiet side street. The home was clean and comfortable and just as represented in the pictures. The two bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. If you're not able to climb stairs, then this home is not for you. We were so happy with our stay. We would highly recommend it!"

Other things to note
Our house is a small lodge with a wood burning stove and an artesian well system for water, our well water does have a strong sulfur smell and is not intended for consumption. we do provide 15 gallons of fresh drinking water for cooking with and consumption. Yes our water has a unique smell to it, but it is completely normal for water to have the odor it does in out region of the state. The Air Conditioning is a window unit seeming how it's really only used 2 months out of the year. The property has a shared driveway with other airbnbs and we are currently putting in trails and campsites along the creek along the trails in the back of the property. if you decide to walk the trails, please be cautious. they are not finished and currently being worked on. If you need help with anything there will always be a caretaker on or around the property to help you with anything . I wish the most convenient stay for all my guests and hope to fully disclose any issues or questions you may have with your stay!

This is a newly renovated unique 2 bedroom one bath apartment. Walking distance to the lake and downtown. Located on the first level of building (requiring taking a few steps up to enter). This unit features 10ft ceilings in living space and queen bedroom. The décor is simply gorgeous and airy. Included are plenty of amenities. Bedroom 1 -has (2) twin size beds. Bedroom 2- has a queen bed. These mattresses are memory comfort to minimize motion. The living room has a leather queen sofa bed that can accommodate (2) addt guests. All linens are cozy and comfortable. Pillows are all secured with allergen/dust mite protectors. Comforters are alternative down with duvet covers. We did not cook any meals, but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked. Most importantly, the property was extremely clean. I am very discerning about the cleanliness of properties when we travel and I check places very carefully. I found every surface to be clean when we arrived. The property has a couple little quirks, but they are part of the character that come with an apartment in an older home/building and do not detract from the overwhelmingly positive experience. I contacted the hosts once during our stay and they were wonderful and quick to respond. They had also given us some suggestions for local restaurants, activities, etc. that were great choices. One more thing to mention is the hosts's attention to detail. They have taken all the little extra steps to provide an overall welcoming and comfortable guest experience. I was traveling my two kids and this was the first stop during a week long trip across the state. We stayed in several different places and everyone agreed this was our favorite place during our trip!"

- "We had a wonderful stay here! The view is spectacular and worth every penny. We slept 4 adults and it was very comfortable. There is a pullout couch and futon for additional sleeping but can’t speak to how comfortable they are. The kitchen had most anything we needed as far as utensils and cookware went. We had a 3 year old child who visited for the day and I could say the location would not be great for a child any younger. There was a drop off, stairs down to the lake, and not a large area to walk into the water. The lake is very rocky so highly recommend water shoes. Hopefully these are helpful notes - we loved our time here and would stay again."

- "We stayed in this immaculately clean house for 4 days while attending funeral services for our sister-in-law. The house is better in person than the photos depict. It’s spacious, in a safe neighborhood, and the beds, bedding, and pillows are very comfortable. There are basic pots, pans, utensils, etc. in the kitchen to prepare simple meals, plus the added convenience of a Keurig, drip coffee maker, and tea kettle. Only salt, pepper, and cooking spray provided and I’m not sure if the owner provided some coffee pods or they were left behind by a previous guest. Lots of paper towels and toilet paper also provided, which is often not the case. Communication before, during, and after with the owner was awesome. Answered all my questions before and quickly responded to a couple of questions during our stay. I highly recommend this property!!"

Romantic getaway property in the finger lakes region, near wineries and lakes. 2 queen beds with two office areas for remote work. Near Naples and the city of Canandaigua where you will find amazing food.

The community beach is only available to renters on weekdays, this is very strict and a fine may be applied if you go down on the weekend. The kayaks on our beach our NOT available for renters at all, any day, and there are fines for this as well. The public beach in Onanda park is available on the weekends, a short 5 minute drive down the hill. There are more beaches in Canandaigua, but this is a delightful local public beach that usually has life guards in the summer as well as hiking trails and equipment rentals. Kayaks and paddleboards can be rented in Canandaigua.

We're in a super safe ,quiet and respectful neighborhood consisting of 13 custom homes.
Our home is on 1.8 well-groomed acres.Access is super easy to your portion of the home.

Please note that although we can't offer a full kitchen or kitchenette, we do provide a "mini-kitchenette" with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in your room.
You'll love the walk out feature once you're in your room to the both patios which join each other.
If you're planning on watching TV, be sure to bring your login info for your favorite apps(Amazon Prime,Netflix etc.). An in-room mini-antenna is provided for local major stations as well as a variety of antenna stations.

If you like, we can provide a DVD player as well.
We do not subscribe to conventional cable TV.

Always best to text us or call if there's anything you need. One of us is home most of the time and always at night.

You can tell Dave and Steph put a lot of care into setting it up for guests, and that it means a lot to their family. The kids loved the games, books, and pond.
