Cottage is located on Ocean St. in Ogunquit, just a few cottages up from the the popular Footbridge Beach. The surrounding area is residential, perfect for walking and great for kids. Located steps away from a trolley stop that will take you through the surrounding area and Perkins Cove. Beach has restrooms. Cottage has a renovated kitchen and bathroom and a small screened in porch, perfect for your morning beverage or reading a book. For those cool spring and fall nights, sit by the gas fireplace place and create great family memories. There is a cottage behind this separated by a passage way. Cottages do not share any walls. - "The cottage was extra clean. The kitchen is well equipped so you can cook a lot. The BBQ was sparkling clean. The self-entry is very convenient, especialy if you are 2 or 3 people in the house with differents schedules. The footbridge (hence the beach) is only 3 to 4 minutes walk. Your private "cabana" has an eat in kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Please note there is no “living room” as your days will be filled living on the beach! However, both bedrooms are a cozy space to relax after a long day.

The small, yet fully equipped kitchen is the perfect spot to make a cup of coffee and enjoy the sunrise over the ocean, or prepare your meals with a view. There is an eat in table overlooking the ocean as well as an outdoor picnic table and Adirondack chairs for guest use.

The main bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a twin over full-sized bunk bed.

The bathroom has a toilet in one part and a sink and stall shower in the other.

This cottage was recently updated and re-listed with all new paint and furniture, including brand new mattresses, but has been a favorite/ 5 star repeat guest rental for many, many years!

2 designated parking spots are available; however, the parking is very tight, and no oversized vehicles are allowed. (sprinter vans, campers, etc)

The space
Your cabin is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac among a dozen or so charming cottages spaced nicely for privacy. Encircling the large mown field in the center is a private drive perfect for children to ride bikes, scooters, roller blade, skateboard, etc. There are even swings and lawn games available to all guests as well!

Full bathroom renovation and updated kitchen floor will be completed soon. Stay tuned for photos of each!

There are large AC units in both the living room and enclosed front porch. Bedrooms have portable fans and circulate the cool air wonderfully.

There is a fireplace as a core beautiful feature, though it is not to be used to burn wood. Instead, a safer elegant electronic candle arrangement provides ambience and charm. Use the remote to change the brightness and set the mood!

Trek a short half-mile to Footbridge Beach. Take left at end of driveway, cross street at crosswalk, walk to Beach Fire restaurant (our favorite appetizer and drinks restaurant) and take a right on to Ocean Street. Footbridge beach is at end of road. Best to get dropped off, ride bikes or walk as parking is expensive.

Main Beach, just down the shore from Footbridge, is where all the food and beach shops are located. Walk along the water or pay for the trolley if you want. How you get there is up to you! All the shops and restaurants of Main Beach are about a mile from the cabin.

The Story -

The property, affectionately known as "Phantom Blueberry", has been a part of the Barto family since 1991 and was recently handed down to five granddaughters - all living their best lives across America - after Jon and Nancy Barto sadly passed away. For decades the cabin has been a summer oasis and the pride of the Barto family. The name "Phantom Blueberry" is an homage to Jon and Nancy - the former a U.S. Navy F4 Phantom pilot, the latter a fan of blueberries and all things Maine.

Jon and Beth Barto, son and daughter-in-law, have assumed the role of stewards for the property and all questions and concerns can be directed to them.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. This cozy 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage is surrounded by trees & greenery down a quiet dirt road just under 2 miles from the beach. Enjoy the privacy away from the busy tourist location but only 1 mile from the fantastic restaurants the area has to offer. There is plenty of space in the yard to barbeque, play games, sit around the firepit or relax on the enclosed porch. This cottage has location appeal, along with beautiful character.

The space
The interior space has hardwood floors throughout the home, a small bathroom but with a full size tub, a central living room with plenty of seating, a relaxing enclosed porch off the living room, a mini dine-in kitchen with all the appliances and dinnerware needed.
The exterior space contains a large yard; front and back. A firepit and barbeque sitting area.
Parking is free and simple, up to 4 vehicles.
This home is unfortunately, not handicap accessible. There are steps into the home at both doors so please be advised.

Guest access is the full property to themselves. This includes parking, yard, home, and basement.
First door will be key entry with self-check in, keys provided.

Other things to note
The woodstoves inside the home are non-working, please do not attempt to light.
Pillows, linens and bath towels will be provided, extras included. They are professionally cleaned at the local cleaners after each stay.
Our professional cleaner arrives at 10:15am Saturday's to clean and reset, please respect the 10:00am check out time.

Keep your Maine escape simple at our peaceful and centrally-located home. Our unique A-frame is nestled in a quiet neighborhood just 5 minutes (drive) from Wells Beach and 12 minutes from downtown Ogunquit.

The home has two first-floor bedrooms, one second-floor bedroom and a bonus loft area for extra space. There is a full bath downstairs, half bath upstairs. There are two living areas on the main floor. There is a grill & outdoor dining for those lovely nights outside.

The space
The summer days are hot and the nights can be cool and we hope you'll feel comfortable during both in our home. There are ceiling fans in almost every room of the house.

There are two brand new mini split systems downstairs as well as one in the loft upstairs. We find that we use primarily the fans and the open windows during the evening and through the night, but for those hot ones you’ve got the A/C ready to go! During the chillier times of the year there is a cozy pellet stove in the front living room.

There is at least one dresser for clothing in each of the bedrooms, as well as closet space.

There is room for 2-3 cars in the driveway as well as 2-3 cars on the street in front of the house.

The best way to access the beach is by driving and parking. There are public parking options available at both Wells Beach (some are free if you get there early enough) and Ogunquit Beach.

Please note: Our home is in a residential neighborhood. If you're looking for a home for loud late nights and parties, this is not the home for you.

In the spirit of staying safe bed linens and towels are not provided. Please bring your own or there is a great local company you can rent linens directly from.

Our tiny cabins on Moody beach provide time close to the ocean in peace and quiet.
Moody beach is unique in that it is private..it allows for peace and harmony with nature and the sea. There are shared space with chairs, picnic tables, two grills, and outdoor showers.

A walk south by beach takes you to Ogunquit and it is an easy drive to Wells and Kennebunkport. Surrounded by Rachel Carson wildlife preserve.

Bed linens and towels are NOT PROVIDED.

The space
101 Ocean avenue is in close proximity to the Ogunquit town border, and it is a slender stretch of private beach with Wells to the North.
Bed sheets and towels are not provided you must bring your own.

This cabin previously owned by lovely Sharon. The seven cabins share the outdoor showers, grills, picnic tables, and private beach access.

There is no life guard on duty. Public beach to south is Ogunquit. Surf break footbridge is easy walk with board in hand. One can kayak, paddle board, boogyboard and swim footsteps from the cabin.

Other things to note
Fall rental price reduced; cabin does not have heat. One space heater makes it reasonable but chilly in the morning. Bring socks and hats for morning walks and there are extra blankets.
