There are two bedrooms (each with full/double-sized beds) and a full bathroom on the primary (first) floor. The steps to the basement may be challenging for those with mobility limitations. We recommend that only individuals without mobility limitations access the basement or the upstairs bedrooms.

This cottage is located on Bass River in Grand Cove. Just steps to the waters edge. A Fisherman's and Kayakers Heaven! A wonderful location in the Historic District of South Dennis with it's church bells bellowing across the water, beautiful homes and historic buildings. The cottage was built in the early 1930's, it was one of the first cabins on the shore. As you enter the cabin, the knotty pine walls and hard wood floors welcome you. The living room ceiling is vaulted and the original wood. The living room looks over the Bass River and has amazing sunsets every night. The glass sliding doors bring you to the porch, hot outdoor shower, grill and access to the 185' pier and dock. There is a small beach for launching canoes, kayaks and small fishing boats about 10' away. The living room has an electric fire place, a/c, flat screen tv w cable and internet. The kitchen has everything you should need for preparing meals for your stay. The cabin is located on a acre of land that is shared by 5 cottages. They are a condo association that share the dock, parking, dumpster and public beach.
The large West Dennis Beach is just a quick 5 minutes to the West Dennis Beach. This beach has the warm water from Nantucket Sound, some waves and soft white sand. From the cottage, take a walk to the Breakfast Room for breakfast or lunch, Steamer Trunk's surf stuff shop/ kayak rentals, and The Christmas Tree Shop. An antique shop on the way is always fun to pop into. Location is central to all cape cod has to offer. This property has the use of all amenities at the Yarmouth Country Cabins just 8 minutes away. There is a heated pool, laundry room and bikes to borrow at the cabins. Kayak rentals are nearby to The Outlook Cabin. It is a quaint waterfront cottage with an amazing view and sunsets on the beach every night. Convenient to shopping on Rt.134 at Patriots Square. Cape Cod Rail Trail is one mile from the cottage. There are bikes to rent, parking and one of our favorite restaurants, Morrelle's. The cabin has a dock and beach for fishing and swimming. A 185' dock and boat slip was built Sept '09. Boat slip available with rental for a fee. This cottage has 2 a/c units.
Grand Cove is a Cape Cod Treasure! It is an amazing fishing spot. When the birds come flyin' in..the fish just start jumping! Sit back and enjoy the views of Bass River. This is a no wake zone. Very quiet. Mussels in the sea grass or fresh fish for dinner? Sail, kayak, and swim! Sit back and enjoy the sunset over the water every night from the patio. Light up the Weber grill for an evening fire or BBQ. The gas fireplace in the living room will keep you warm on a chilly Spring or Fall evening. The location of this rental is set in the heart of all that Cape Cod has to offer yet it is quiet and secluded. This is a Cape Cod treasure. A kayak rental (with delivery) of a kayak can make your vacation complete. Walk to the Breakfast Room for Breakfast or Lunch. We hope you will love it here as much as we do!

Grand Cove is ocean fed salt water. This cove is located on Bass River. Bass River connects to the Nantucket Sound. The water is the temperature of the ocean or a bit warmer and the fishing is bountiful. There is a boat ramp located on Great Wastern Road in Dennis. The ramp is about 8 minutes from the cottage and parking is free. Beaches: Chapin Beach/Mayflower Beach on the Bay side off Rt. 6a is so beautiful at sunset. Pack a picnic dinner. During the day, bring the kids at low tide...the beach goes out for miles with an abundance of tide pools. West Dennis Beach is just 2 miles from the cottage. It has just enough waves. Coastguard Beach: A 40 minute drive, big waves and nature. Seagull Beach in Yarmouth is calm and warm. Only 10 minutes away. Chapin Beach and Mayflower Beach are best experienced w a low tide that leaves a beach of about 3 miles out and tide pools for kids/ toddlers to play in. So fun!
Resturants everywhere and shopping. Be sure to catch a whale watch. Cape Cod is a whales destination to feed before they make the trip down the east coast for the winter.

- "What a wonderful spot, nestled literally on the bank of the Grand Cove and the Bass River. Walked out the door no more than ten feet from the water (which was at least 65*). Fishing, Kayaking, swimming, crabbing everything you would want in a get away vacation. Audrey and Jerry were great hosts. Need anything BAMB she was right on top of things. Studio cabin is located at the Yarmouth Country Cabins in South Yarmouth. This cabin shares the 10 acres of land/woodlands is located in the heart of Cape Cod. So close to the Island Ferries we can hear the steamships horns blow. This property was developed in the 1940's and still has the nostalgic charm that it was blessed with. There are nature walking paths, badminton, ping pong, horseshoes, Bocci Ball, beach sand playground, campfire area, heated salt chlorinated outdoor pool, and salt water pond at the edge of the property. We are exactly one mile to the Town of Yarmouth's Parker's River Beach on South Shore Drive on the Nantucket Sound side of the cape. Our location is between 2 of Cape Cod's largest miniature golf attractions, Pirate's Cove and Bass River Sports World/Skull Island. Pirates' Cove is .5 mi and Skull Island/Bass River Sports World is .2 mi. Planet Fitness Gym is .3 mi from us. Restaurants, shopping, treats to eat..all within walking distance.
We are 25 minutes over the Sagamore Bridge and 45 minutes to Provincetown.

Located in South Yarmouth. This is Cabin#4 at the Yarmouth Country Cabins, 864 Route 28, South Yarmouth, Cape Cod. The cabins are set on 10 acres of land. This cabin shares an outdoor heated salt water pool, playground, games and walking trails. It is quick one mile to the beach on the ocean side of cape cod. Many restaurants are easy to walk. Bass River Sports World is a one block walk and offers mini golf, batting cages, bumper cars, arcade..so much more. The property is peaceful and nostalgic. It was built in 1939. This is family owned rental property and has hosted many families over the decades. We hope that yours will visit us soon. There are hammocks swaying over sandy knolls. Large beachsand playground and playhouse for the kids. Badmitton, ping pong, Bocci ball, Volleyball Sand Court, Bikes to borrow and nature trails to Swan Pond(now closed) Nightly bonfire for roasting marshmallows, picnic tables, bbq grills and tiki torches make the evenings fun.
The nearest beaches are Parker River Beach, Smuggler's Beach, and South Middle Beach are 1 mile away. Seagull Beach and West Dennis Beach are approx 2.5 mile away. Super Stop & Shop is less than 1 mile away. These cabins have hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, bathrooms, ac, screened porches, grills, pool, one mile to the ocean and beautiful nature all around you.

There is a small electric space heater under the sink cabinet. There is a small indoor bathroom w shower that is new in 2024. There is one parking space to the left of the cabin and a table w chairs. A grill can be moved to your cabin to use. There are several gas grills that are fixed for you to use. Maintenance is in cabin11. Laundry room is next to cabin20 w 3 steps up. Summary of Cabin5: Parking is on the right side of cabin5 front porch. A small enclosed porch w seating for 3. The studio cabin has a queen bed and pullout twin bed for a small person. Linens and bedding included. We do not recommend this cabin for more than 2 adults. Best use is 2 adults and a small child (under 70 pounds). The kitchenette has all you should need for your stay. Full sized refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, full-sized sink and counter. There is no oven or dishwasher. If something is not in the kitchenette that you need for a meal, Our advice is that you plan to bring your 5 favorites from your kitchen that you use everyday. A skillet, knife, cutting board, French press, ziplock bags, etc. It is a small bag to bring that simplifies your meal prep. A nice sized bathroom w shower. Please bring your own towels and soaps. If you are flying in, ask maintenance for towels.
An outdoor fenced shower is on cabin5 in addition to the indoor shower.
The patio is your private patio. No charcoal is supplied for charcoal grills. There is a gas grill behind cabin5 that is for all to use. In joy your time and family. Patio with seating with umbrella at the front door of the cabin.

The setting is on a 10 acre multi-cabin retreat that has the nostalgic feeling of cape cod in 1950. Many pine trees, nature paths, salt water pond (Swan Pond/ Parkers River) that leads to the ocean; great fishing. Our fun stuff: outdoor heated salt water pool, bikes to borrow, hammocks, tiki torches, grills, beach sand playground w/ toys. Nightly marshmallow roasts at our outdoor fireplace are daily. Bring a flashlight for a game of flashlight tag or Nerf ball. This is a peaceful place. You may remember spending time at a place just like this when you were a kid. Family friendly. Family atmosphere. If you are searching for a rental that has other families, plenty of room to ride bikes safely, and games such as horseshoes, bocci ball, foosball, ping pong and badminton. The playhouse cabin has crafts for your children at a small charge. The playground has a beach sand base and has sand toys for your children to use.
The cabin is fully equipped with all you need for your week. We have a large pergola w deck, barn, water feature and beautiful flower gardens. Location is a village area. Many things to walk too. Papa Gino's, Diary Queen, gift shopping, mini golf, arcade, soccer cages, batting cages, golf range to practice your swing, fitness gym(Planet Fitness), groceries, all in walking distance! A walk to the beach is 15 minutes (one mile)w/ a great resturant (The Skipper). Borrow one of our bikes for a quick ride to the beach. Hyannis Center is only 3 miles for all it has to offer: Museums, Ferries to the Islands, Deep sea fishing, whale watching, and so much shopping and resturants to enjoy!

- "New furniture in our cabin, recently painted and updated. Have stayed here a few summers in a row now. Centrally located to everything. If you are looking for place to cook a meal or two, shower and sleep this place is perfect." - "While the best thing about this place was the location, as it was near everything, it was perfect for a family vacation. The cabin was the perfect size, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of storage. The pool was great for our little ones who are still learning to swim and also for us, we love to swim. Everyone was so polite and friendly and the owners were always there if we needed them. Our dog was welcomed and when she had a long time in our cabin, the owners offered to take her out for a walk. We ended up taking her to doggie daycare not 5 minutes away to give her some extra fun time. We had such a good time and have every intention of coming back every summer. This was perfect for our small family, but would be great if we had a bunch of families with us. Hopefully this can be a family reunion place in the future."

Kids (8 & 6) LOVED the fire pit for making s'mores and proximity to the pool (which has a large shallow end perfect for relaxing). Bocce Ball court is an overlooked ammenity that was great. Our kids never even asked to turn on the TV!! The screened in / covered porch was awesome for all meals and the OUTDOOR SHOWER is an awesome feature. This place is so convenient for all the day trips, or just hanging out at the pool. We highly recommend this property and hope to stay again next time we hit the Cape.."

Large patio next to cabin19 w a stationary gas grill. Charcoal grill can be moved to the patio. Charcoal is not provided. Laundry is across from cabin19. - "Communication during the planning phase with Audrey was immediate and also throughout our stay. We stayed in Cabin #6 for 9 nights in October during a rainy, cool few days. The cabin was warm, clean and welcoming. We prepared quite a few meals indoors, but were able to grill outside on our private patio. The outdoor shower was huge and wished it was warm enough to use it. The grounds have a huge amount of acreage with winding white shelled streets, well lit at night for walks at all hours. Each walk is an experience of discovery as you pass the whimsical items placed discreetly among the beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers. There are several modern outdoor fireplaces surrounded by chairs and wooden swings waiting for some company and a blanket. Safe children's play area. As you can tell, we loved our stay and can envision a summer family reunion with lots of kids, each family in their separate cabin right next door. Thank you Audrey for all your fine touches. It was perfect for our needs, with three beds. My toddler loved the playground and the basketball court, there was a lot of room to run around. It was also in a convenient location to get to everything we wanted to see--it was 5 minutes from Parker's Beach and the Whydah Pirate museum, plus a Stop and Shop only 3 minutes down the road for whatever else we needed. the only issue we had was our first night there, the hot water wasn't working. But Audrey kept us in the loop and we got it back the next day, so it overall didn't ruin our trip. We had a great time, and would love to come back in the summer months!"

- "We absolutely loved our stay at this Charming & adorable little cottage. It was just the right size. The decor and the waterfront location was beautiful right on the Atlantic Ocean estuary of Town Cove which is safe and fun to play in. The location was perfectly situated between Orleans and Eastham, making restaurants & groceries really easy. Although it’s on hwy 6 you don’t hear or see any road noise in the cabin nor while outside in the deck hid the dock. Our highlights were 1. beachcombing at First Encounter beach at low tide. 2. We rented 2 tandem kayaks from Paddle Cape Cod & the delivered & picked them up right at the cottage for free. We paddled down to the marsh area & saw a seal and lots of interesting birds. 3. We bought a little crab trap & had fun catching green crabs with chicken legs right off the dock. Then we drove to Herring river bridge in Harwich to catch Blue crab… it was really fun. All in all it was a lovely stay, I wish we had longer and can’t wait to come back in the future."

This cabin is perfect for 2 generations. The main cabin has 2 bedrooms, kitchen, open dining and living room area. There are 2 sets of sliders to let light and air into the cabin.
All cabins have a private bathroom. The guest cabin has a queen bed, loveseat sleeper sofa, screened porch, hardwood floors. All rentals have window ac. If you are chilly, there is a plug in electric heater in the cabin.
This cabin is a family favorite throughout the years.
Kitchen has your basic needs for eating in. It is advised you bring 5 or so of your kitchen favs to simplify meal prep: cutting board, sharp knife, skillet, etc.
