We offer you a uniquely wonderful vacation opportunity, with a very large (500+ sq ft) one bedroom apartment in a very quiet part of town known mostly to locals, off the beaten path yet incredibly convenient to everything. This apartment is perfect for a single person, a couple or two friends. We're sorry but NO minors or pets can be accepted and the maximum allowable capacity is 2 adults by town bylaw. The apartment is down 8 steps (with banister), so you must be comfortable with stairs. We offer the following amenities:

Your bikes are safe within our completely fenced property, and we have plenty of room for kayaks too if you want to bring them.

-When it's time to have some fun, an easy 10 minute stroll leads you directly to the Boatslip Resort and their world famous afternoon tea dances. Crown and Anchor, A House, Porchside Bar and Club Purgatory are all 10 minutes or less on foot, even faster on bike.

- If you want to eat out but are feeling lazy, Chach's amazing breakfast and Mexican themed lunch and Mac's delicious dinner are both just 750 feet from our door. Of course, we are happy to recommend a restaurant that suits your taste and budget; PTown has something delicious for everyone!

-No vacation to Provincetown is complete without a trip to the beach, and Herring Cove Beach is a quick 5 minute drive or bike ride, only 10 minute walk, much closer than most places in town. Race Point beach is a gorgeous bike ride through the trails or a 10 minute drive.

Sanitary Information - We take your health and safety (and our own!) very seriously. We have always maintained our rental apartment in the same spotless condition as our home (note the many reviews that mention how clean the apartment is). We use Citrus II Hospital Germicidal Deodorizing Cleaner on all hard surfaces in the apartment and we do it ourselves, so we know it's done properly. Citrus II is virucidal, bactericidal, tuberculocidal, mildewstat, fungicidal, meets OSHA bloodborne pathogen standard for HIV, HBV, and HCV, and kills H1N1 Influenza A virus. All linens are carefully washed and the apartment is thoroughly aired out between guests.

- "This was a great stay for our family of four, plus our little doggy! The apartment was as advertised and more. The living room and bedrooms are more spacious than the pictures show. For a rental, we found the beds to be quite comfortable too! The kitchenette (microwave, stovetop, fridge) was enough for us to cook what we wanted. We also enjoyed our nights on the porch, grilling and watching the sunset. The neighborhood was calm and quiet, with beach access on the lake only a few steps away. And the location on the Cape was perfect for us, close to so many great activities. Mike and Jo were friendly, attentive hosts and were there to greet us when we arrived!"

Front Studio unit across the street from the bay! Relax on the deck with views from Provincetown to Wellfleet. No need to get in your car to go to the beach, a beautiful bay beach is right across the street. Please note in the main summer months we only rent by the week Saturday to Saturday, in the off season we have 3 day minimum.
The view from deck is spectacular and the area is quiet and tranquil. The unit is small but has all the amenities, kitchenette with two burner stove, microwave, coffeemaker, and refrigerator. You will not be disappointed! The unit has one double bed and a futon that is a double, and an outdoor deck that surrounds the building. It sleeps two adults comfortably with two children, 4 adults might find it a little cramped. We do supply sheets and towels, and beach chairs and umbrella are left for you, if you want to use them, If you would rather bring your own sheets and towels just let us know. We also have grills in two locations on the property that are there for you to use and a fire pit . There are picnic tables in back in case you would like to eat outside. The Flex bus goes by @ every half hour and costs about $2, and has been free on Freeloader Fridays, not sure if it will continue but hope so, as it is expensive to park in Ptown. The Truro winery is right down the street and there is usually a food truck there.

This newly updated suite is very private; located above our home. There are outdoor steps leading to its own separate entrance and little deck. It is well appointed with a small nicely equipped kitchen (Mini fridge, Elect. Cooktop, Microwave, Toaster Oven, Coffee Maker, etc.), great built-in table with banquette seating, comfy queen size bed with a wonderful reclaimed wood bedframe made by a New England craftsman, twin size sleeper sofa, wall mounted TV, and two closets with plenty of storage. The nicely sized full bath has a walk-in shower, along with a washer & dryer. A Mini Split AC/Heat System keeps the suite cool when needed in the Summer and warm and cozy in the Winter.

With loads of windows, and a fabulous bird's-eye view above the secluded backyard, the Osprey Nest is sure to become your favorite Cape Cod escape!

And after a red-eye from San Francisco and the first ferry ride over from Boston, we were grateful for it. The hosts were super responsive. There was a minor AC hiccup and they had it taken care of quickly. In fact, all communication with our hosts, from booking to departing couldn't have been better. The well-apportioned Studio was perfect for the two of us and our 19-pound Boston Terrier. While small, it still felt spacious. The Studio is flooded with light with an enormous skylight and generous windows. There is a perfect reading nook where I posted up with my laptop to work for a couple of hours a day with a beautiful view of the beach. As a cook, the kitchen had everything I needed to prepare all our meals. At night, the dimmable lighting ensured an even atmosphere light throughout the cozy space. The neighbors were friendly/engaging and we enjoyed taking the private path to the beach for Esteban's daily walks. If we could have stayed more than a week, we would have. Our space is a newly renovated private studio suite on the second floor. This space could hold two people comfortably but we do offer a inflatable twin bed if you are traveling with a child. The bedroom has a queen size bed and 42 inch flat screen TV, with included netflix, hulu, amazon videos, paramount, peakcock and apple tv with high speed internet. Extra towel and linens can be found in the bedroom closet. The bedroom has an split AC unit and a ceiling fan. We have also provided a white noise machine in the your unit. The Room has a lock on the door for privacy as does the bathroom. In the bathroom vanity you can find a first aids kit for any emergencies. There is also a small kitchen with some basic supplies coffee maker with complementary coffee, toaster, microwave, sandwich maker, full size fridge, sink, pots and pans, plates, cutlery, glasses and a small four chair table to enjoy your meals. In the kitchen clset we have placed a variety of boardgame for your enjoyment along with a beach kit which included two beach chairs, cooler, beach blanket, and umbrella. The front door entrance will only be used by the guest to ensure your privacy. Your sudio (In law apartment) is attached the main house where we live with our dogs Molly (English bulldog), Smokey (frenchie) and our daugther Rose. We’re pretty quite but you might hear us cooking in the kitchen or talking. The door that connected to the main house is always locked during guests stay, that is to say we will not enter your space without advance notice (unless you need something from us) or in case of an emergency. The host provided exceptional hospitality, even leaving a local bottle of wine and a ‘welcome’ card upon our arrival. The host was also always available if we had any questions or issues. I would highly recommend this property for future stays, especially for one or two people. The accommodations were quaint and very clean, and the host provided many of the necessities you’d expect while being on vacation. Such as plenty of linens, towels, kitchen appliances and supplies. Even beach chairs, umbrella and board games. Another great aspect of this property is its proximity to everywhere you’d like go in the Cape. Everything is less than an hours drive and easy to get to. This property is a real gem and I look forward to staying again in the future."

From Mid June through Labor Day, Summer Rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Nestled In the Cape Cod National Seashore. Enjoy this secluded cottage style apartment; only 0.2 (two tenths) of a mile from Coast Guard Beach. Another mile north along Ocean View Drive you will find Nauset Light, and the Three Sisters Lighthouses. A European Copper Beach Tree welcomes you to our home and offers shade on a hot day. A rose covered rock wall gives a feeling of Cape Cod so many years ago. Guests can walk to the beach, go for hikes, bike rides, or kayak adventures nearby. The interior of the apartment has a living room with a Vermont Cast-Iron gas stove for off season warmth. Three large windows gives an open roomy effect. There is SMART TV with Antenna service. The newly renovated kitchen (2023) is completely functional and has a gas stove, microwave, and new (2023) refridgerator. The bath on the first floor includes a stackable washer/dryer. Two small bedrooms are up the narrow staircase; each has a double size bed. There are small window A/C in the bedrooms. NO air conditioning downstairs, but fans are provided. In the summer season we usually will only accept full week rentals, Saturday to Saturday. Thank you for understanding.

There is a small patio with a gas grill, and a small, rather private deck which includes an outside shower.

Very nearby is a bike trail that leads to The Salt Pond Visitors Center just a mile up the road. Here one may find natural resources and information, as well as organized canoe or kayak adventures (in season), and a great little gift shop.

Options within a mile or two are too many to list; but a few are: An Athletic Club, Drive In Theatre, Movie Theater, Wildlife Sanctuaries, Famous Cape Cod Flea Market, Golf, Tennis courts and more. Please come and enjoy the natural surroundings and/or tourist attractions of the cape.

The space
We have a private downstairs apartment with a separate rear entrance. There is a brick patio to enjoy being outside with your dog. The apartment is furnished with beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers, everything you will need for a great day at the beach. We are supplying you with a beach pass which will allow you free access to the Town of Barnstable beaches and ponds. We will also have homemade baked muffins, orange juice, snack foods, condiments, tea, coffee, cream and most importantly plenty of treats for your dog.


I would appreciate it if you could PLEASE tell me about your dog(s) when booking.......what breed, age, do they play well with others and any other info you think I might need to know.

I do recommend that if you don't have a dog, at the very least you are a dog lover because there are always dogs here and I want everyone to be happy while they are here. All of the dogs that are here love other dogs and people.

You and your dog will have use of your own private downstairs apartment and 3/4 of the fenced in yard. If your dog gets along with other dogs he/she will have a blast playing with my dogs, it's like having your own private dog park. If your dog doesn't want to play with other dogs he/she doesn't have to, there is a fence separating the yards.
If you plan on spending the day at the beach, whale watching or sight seeing and it is too hot for your dog to be in the car he/she is more than welcome to stay home with me and my dogs or by themselves and I can check in on them if I am home.

Other things to note
The kitchen is supplied with everything you need to cook a meal and there is a new Weber gas grill. There are pots, pans, 4 different types of coffee makers (drip, kuerig, french press and pour over), utensils, spices, paper products and condiments.

There are TV's in the living room and bedroom. Both have Youtube TV with over 130 channels. We also have Prime TV, HBO, Apple TV and Netflix.

We supply sheets, towels, blankets and anything else you might need to make your stay feel like being at home.

When you arrive please park on the gravel area in front of the house.

I don't require that your dog be crated, but if your dog is crated then I have small, medium and large crates which you are more than welcome to use so you won't have to lug your crate with you from home.

Unfortunately my house insurance policy has restrictions on certain breeds of dogs that I am not allowed to have in my home. The list of breeds is under the "House Rules" section of this listing. When you book if you could please let me know what breed your dog(s) is I would greatly appreciate it.

The Beach Rose is a peaceful retreat on one of Provincetown's seashell lanes, steps from the beach and about 3/4 mile walk to town.

This one-bedroom apartment sleeps four (2 in a king bed and 2 in a daybed with trundle) and is full of Cape Cod charm, i.e. uneven antique pine floors, quirky ceilings, a clawfoot tub/shower...

Best yet, pets aren't just welcomed, they are encouraged!

BTW, 'quirky ceilings' means you'll be at risk of hitting your head in a couple places if you're tall...

The space
The Beach Rose is charming and cozy. The bedroom has windows on two sides and gets afternoon sun. It's furnished with a super comfortable king sized bed which is dressed with linens from Pottery Barn/Garnet Hill. Tucked into the back corner of the house, it's very quiet. All you'll hear is the wind chime on the corner of the house and sometimes, the waves on the beach at the end of the lane.

The living room is large, furnished with a comfortable sectional couch and a day bed with trundle (for 2 additional sleeping surfaces). With windows on 3 sides, the space is bright throughout most of the day.

The kitchen is also large and is stocked with everything you need for light cooking.

The bathroom is equipped with a claw foot tub/shower, sink, and toilet (of course). There is a railing around the tub to help you safely step in and out. If you're bath people, you'll be in heaven! We provide cruelty-free bath products for your convenience.

There's a little outdoor patio with a sectional couch in front of the house. The little walkway to the patio is lined with Rosa Rugosas (i.e. Beach Roses!). The patio is sheltered from wind and sun and looks across the lane to our neighbor's beautiful garden. It's a lovely place to have a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The patio is fenced in with a light fence so your pup can safely join you out there.

After getting settled, you'll surely want to stroll down the lane to the beach which is just a couple of hundred yards away. The bay is perfect for swimming (i.e. no sharks) and the beach is just right for reading the day away. The beach goes on for miles once the tide goes out. At low tide, you can easily walk the tide line to town for a day of shopping or night of revelry. You can also walk the beach to Truro for a change of scenery.

The Beach Rose is a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of town as well as a convenient home base for a week at the beach. We love it here and think you will too!

Besides, Provincetown is a Dog Town - people bring their dogs everywhere. There's even a dog bakery on Commercial Street. The beach at the end of the lane has a general rule that well-behaved dogs can be off-leash in the mornings and evenings but not while people are sunbathing in the heat of the day. That is sometimes followed :-)~

You should know that there are coyotes abundant in this town, so it's a good idea to keep close to your pup, especially if she/he is a little guy. There are also many foxes around. They don't necessarily pose a threat to your furry family but are always fun to see.

The space
Guest have all commented on how clean the unit is and we take great pride in that. Comforters, linens and towels are all swapped out after each guest and we clean remotes (all true before COVID-19). Convenient access to Route 28 gets you to beaches, ferries, shopping, biking, etc. with ease. We also have a back driveway that guests appreciate as well. The gardens at the entrance and side yard are in full-bloom from June - October and this is going to be a banner year for hydrangeas!

Apartment is part of a Cape Style home with entirely separate quarters. Front door of home is the guest entrance and there is a sliding door In the living room, that opens up to a patio with a gas grill.

Home is located on Route 28 in Centerville and centrally located on Cape Cod. Within one mile of Craigville Beach, Penny Candy Store and Four Seas Ice Cream. Falmouth, which has ferry service to Martha's Vineyard, is about 45 minutes away depending on traffic. Hyannis is only 10 minutes away and has ferry service to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. Provincetown is also easy to explore and is only an hour or so away. The Hyannis Whale Watch, which actually leaves from Barnstable Harbor, is only 10 minutes aways and offers the opportunity for guests to see many different types of whales that also come to visit Cape Cod Bay.
