Driveway will fit two cars back to back. If you need more space, parking is allowed on the street. Overnight street parking - let me know ahead of time, and I can get you a temporary parking sticker.
Other things to note
Access to the apartment is thru a private entrance located by the driveway. Please note, the circular staircase (30 stairs) access to your apartment is fully carpeted, so no worries about fear of heights. This apartment is not recommended for elderly folks due to the amount of stairs. I can grant you access thru the main house when you arrive and depart, to minimize the ups/downs - if you have extra luggage.

**We have a sleeper couch in addition to a queen bed and full bed. Will feel small for 5 adults, but a fifth person is welcome if you feel pull out couch/one bathroom to share is suitable for your party.**

This is the second floor apartment in a two unit building. It has a private entrance and the entire unit is yours for your stay. The large yard and porch are shared space with the downstairs guests, if you wish to use them.

We love to welcome dogs but please let me know ahead of time and they must be included on the reservation.

This apartment is only two blocks from the July 4th Parade route and only a few hundred feet from the Town Common where there are tennis/pickleball courts, basketball courts, jungle gyms for kids, a beautiful gazebo and plenty of benches for just admiring the fresh open air and beautiful surroundings. You can take a very short walk to Bristol Harbor where you’ll find many restaurants, shops, the local library, banks, breakfast places, pubs, and parks as well as the ferry to Prudence Island. A short walk down Wood Street you’ll find several very interesting restaurants like Brick, Pivotal Brewing Company, Sakuratani, Common Pub, and our favorite, Pomodoro Italian Kitchen (just three doors away!). The apartment is a two bedroom with one queen and two twins that comfortably accommodates 4 people. It also includes a full kitchen, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. It is located on the 2nd floor so you must be able to walk up some stairs as it is a converted 2 family, that was an old house at one time. The back yard, patio, and grill is also available for your use and is shared with the 1st floor apartment. You can park on the street in front of the apartment but will need a guest pass to not get ticketed. In order for us to get you the pass from the town we will need the license plate information including state for the car(s) you plan on parking on the street before your stay. The town clerks office is open Monday-Friday 8am-4pm so please keep that in mind as we would need to know before you stay as we have to get the pass for you, the town will not give the pass directly to you. It is easy to find parking in front of house unless during 4th of July.

You will be the only guests on the premises and will have exclusive access the entire first floor apartment with a private entrance in back and private parking space for 1 or 2 cars in the driveway. Through spring, summer and fall you will have shared access to the garden and outdoor dining area, but it's mostly all yours. You'll see us puttering with the flowers and sometimes Neil has guests over for a studio visit in the evening, but that's it. If you have bikes you can park them in the driveway or put them in the sheltered outdoor dining area if it rains. Please respect our rule that only registered guests are allowed on the property, but if you just want to share a drink and quiet conversation with friends in the garden that's fine. The barn is a private artist studio and guests DO NOT have access to this building. This property is owner occupied.

Other things to note
There is no tv anywhere on the property, so if you'd like to watch we advise that you bring a tablet. The apartment is entirely vegan friendly, smoke free and animal dander free. This is a 200 plus year old antique wooden home so we do not allow any open flames on the property. NO SMOKING OR VAPING of any kind is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Extra blankets, pillows and cozy shams can be found in the red trunk in the bedroom as well as the green trunk and the living room. You'll find plenty of cooking supplies if you want to prepare a meal but if there's something the kitchen is lacking just let us know and we'd be happy to send whatever it is down to you.

Guests must use stairs to get into the apartment. There is an antique store on the first floor, you will use the door to the left of the shop to access the private main living spaces, bedrooms and bathrooms on the 2nd & 3rd levels. This historic home has its quirks including a steep and winding staircase up to the 3rd-floor loft and powder room.

Free high-speed WiFi. Netflix, Hulu, Prime and other streaming Apps are loaded on the TVs and are accessible with guests' own accounts

Other things to note
This is a historic home with quirks including a steep and narrow staircase to the 3rd floor. Use caution. Tall people, watch your head when coming through the doorway leading to the loft.

While kids are welcome, parents please note that this space is not child-proof. There are steep stairs and a stand-up shower. No tub.

The windows on the front of the house are original and will require instructions to maneuver. These instructions will be available on-site in our welcome book.

We have a grill for the guests to use.
Tenants live on the property but use a private entrance and leave full access to everything outside to the guests.
