The apartment is a walk in lower level. Within walking distance 0.3 mile to Scituate Harbor, shops, restaurants, and just under mile to beach. Close proximity to public pickleball/tennis courts, and many easy hiking trails. Unit has 1 bedroom (with queen) 1 full bath, a separate living room (with twin sleeper couch) unit sleeps 3 adults comfortably. We do have a camp bed available if you have a 4th person. There’s a toaster, coffee machine dishes, and mini fridge. Apartment is not child proofed but ok for older kids.

The space
The Heart of the Harbor flat is located on the first floor of a historic colonial house built by Captain Joseph Otis. The building is home to Murphy Carty Insurance Agency, as well as two private residences on the 2nd floor.

The apartment is simple and tasteful, approx. 700 sq. comprised of living room with a love seat, futon couch, a high top glass table and chairs for dining, roku smart tv, coffee table and a bookshelf with good reads. Down the hall and carpeted throughout is the bedroom with queen size bed, black out shades, charging station, white noise machine, antique desk and chair, distressed bureau and closet. The kitchen has a coffee maker, refrigerator, oven, stove, plates/cups, wine glasses, toaster oven, utensils, pots/pans and a high top table with chairs.

There are air conditioning units in both the living room and the bedroom.

Please Note: THE BATHROOM AND SHOWER ARE SMALL in size.* Similar to a bathroom on a boat. PLEASE CONSIDER WHEN BOOKING IF A LARGER BATHROOM IS PREFERRED. Bathroom has all the essentials, thick towels, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, hair dryer, makeup mirror.

There are front and back door entrances to the apartment, a small grassy area in back, and a shared sitting area on the front patio overlooking the harbor for coffee or cocktails.
