- "Stayed in Mountainview while my daughter attended a dance workshop for the week. The beds, sheets, and pillows we’re comfortable. We stayed during a very humid heat wave, and the two mini splits in the bedrooms were sufficient to cool off the entire living space. The owners are on site and available for questions, but also gave us privacy and space. They offered vegetables and herbs from their gardens. There are many outdoor seating areas to enjoy. The property is well off the road but easily accessible to the downtown and major routes. I would highly recommend staying here!"

Everything was in good repair and good working order. It was perfect for us because instead of being on top of each other in a hotel room we each had our own bedroom and could have some private time. My son's bedroom even had a nook with a desk, which he loved. My mattress was good for me, memory foam I think. I didn't come to cook, but the kitchen had everything you'd need. Logged in to Hulu no problem on the TV in the living room for shows before bed. Super close to the main drag. The host went above and beyond to help with our stay. Would definitely stay there again."

- "Overall, the house was acceptable, but just that there was no trashcan no paper towels the lens weren’t clean when I was there when I checked in and the bathroom tub had to be fixed multiple times due to the age of the house. Also, there was a fruit fly problem That started the day I moved in. On top of that, the guy made me leave a day early. I still haven’t been reimbursed for that. The space
Use the Elizabeth St sidewalk. At the stairs, take a right and follow the brick paver walkway to the back of the house. There you'll find your private entrance, a white door with keypad lock. Once inside, you'll enter a mudroom where you can leave your shoes, coats, luggage and even bicycles. then into the main space which is furnished and decorated with care.

The fully functional kitchen is equipped with an induction burner, Breville toaster oven, microwave, Keurig, custom wooden countertops, pots, pans, dishes and everything you might need to prepare a meal.

This is a renovated basement apartment which has a new mini-split so it stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It’s also light and bright with windows in the main space, and a large atrium window (which also functions as an emergency exit) with a blackout shade in the bedroom. We’re obsessed with atmosphere so there are sliders on all the light switches, as well as standing and table lamps to help you get the lighting just right.

There’s a super comfortable queen bed and sleeper sofa with luxury bedding to sleep 4, and high speed Wifi, so you can work at either the dining table or work nook, and stream shows or movies with the Roku.

This is a second floor suite in a licensed Airbnb. The space had a queen bed, twin bed in separate area but no door between those areas.
A big private bathroom with a sanitized jacuzzi tub with a shower option is next the twin bed. The jacuzzi tub is 2 feet tall, and it might be hard to get in and out for ceitain population.
The outside of the room on the landing is a table and two chairs to dine and get some work done.

Each of the two bedrooms offers a cozy queen bed dressed in 100% cotton or linen sheets and warm down comforters (please let us know if you have allergies!). The living room provides one additional sleeping space with a convertible couch best suited for a child or smaller adult.

For light sleepers, white noise machines are provided in each bedroom, as footsteps from the upstairs unit may occasionally travel through the floors. Voices and TV sounds are generally muffled, ensuring a peaceful stay.

A fully equipped kitchen comes with pots, pans, utensils, flatware, glasses of all kinds, a coffee maker, toaster, oven, fridge, microwave, and some basic necessities like oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and popular herbs so you can stay in and cook if that is your preference.

My wife and I raised our two daughters in this downtown Northampton home. We recently created a very private suite in the front part of our home. Tibet House is a good sized 3 room (plus bathroom) apartment decorated with original art work and findings from all over Asia.
There is lots of light coming in the windows and plenty of window treatments to keep light out!

There is comfortable furniture through out and a kitchen that includes a table and 4 chairs for cooking and dining.
The bedroom has a queen size bed and there is a futon couch in the TV room that can be converted, at your request by me, into a full size bed.
The television is a Samsung 42" high definition , wall mounted.
The large bathroom has a shower and counter space.

The wifi is very reliable and the TV has cable channels.

It is on the second floor (one staircase to ascend!) of our home and has a private entrance.
You will enter the front door on to a three season porch and then enter the house from there. Once through the front porch and into the house you will be in a private hallway and apartment.

We offer off street parking for two cars in our driveway.

The space
The garden apartment can accommodate up to 5 guests. We have two private bedrooms: the spacious main bedroom (king bed), private quite small room (a.k.a the Hobbit Hole with twin bed, this room can only accommodate one person and there isn’t floor space for a crib or pack-n-play in addition to the bed). In addition, members of your party may sleep on our comfortable new convertible sofa (full XL) in the living room.

PLEASE NOTE: if your party is large enough to occupy all three beds, the members of your party sleeping in the main bedroom (king bed) will have to walk through one of the two other sleeping areas (Hobbit Hole or living room) to get to the kitchen and bathroom. This arrangement will, obviously, work better for families or groups who know one another well. When your party will occupy only two of the beds, all members of your party will have access to the kitchen and bathroom without passing through one-another's sleeping areas.

The apartment provides a well-equipped cook’s kitchen in a sunny eat-in space with an old fashioned enameled farmhouse table that accommodates up to 6 diners.

We try to live simply. As a result, we do not have a TV or phone in the apartment. We do have high-speed internet, so feel free to bring your own devices and use our wi-fi to connect.

Some perks of our space are the small historic barn out behind house that helps to create a sense of privacy in our yard, and a new stone patio that easily invites sitting outside for coffee or an evening cocktail. We are happy to share both spaces with guests. If we happen to be there at the same time, we look forward to saying hello in person.

The house is old and we are renovating bit by bit: so far we've done the interiors and the barn, we are working currently on the yard. Please don't be discouraged by the old aluminum siding when you arrive. The inside is updated and well-appointed.

The entire ground floor garden apartment will be at your disposal, accessible through a private entrance in the rear of the house.

The rear yard is shared with our family.

Pull cars all the way back to the end of the driveway to make sure we can easily get into and out of our dedicated parking spot in the front of the house.

You will enter through a ground level door off the backyard. You'll have to walk up the three steps of our concrete stoop. The apartment door is marked with two signs: "Garden Apartment" and "Welcome."

Guests will not have access to the basement or barn.

Our two-family house is home to our family on the upper two floors, and to the garden apartment on the ground floor. For many years we lived in the garden apartment, but now we use it to house our visiting friends and family. And, of course, we happily host AirBnB guests when we are not using it ourselves. Our family spends many weekends in the Spring and Fall, as well as the whole summer, in Vermont. During those times of year AirBnB guests will have the place essentially to themselves

The house was built in the early 1900’s and has been updated, but as with most older houses you will be able to hear evidence that we are living upstairs. (Walking around, mostly). Our teenaged son is a musician, though his instruments are on the third floor and we limit his use of amplified music during times when it might impact guests. Quiet hours for our son's amplified music are: Monday-Friday before 3:30 PM and after 9 PM, Saturday and Sunday before 10 AM and after 9 PM.

We consider the the apartment to be part of our home, and not a well-positioned condo that we primarily look to pump guests through. It is an extension of ourselves, where we host family and friends (and where we used to live), and you will sense us there.

We list our apartment as kid/family friendly, and we have left some games and toys for use by younger guests. Our son is 17 now, so we do not promise that our place is 100% baby-safe. We have tried to keep an eye on safety for all, but the days of having a toddler are long behind us so you will not find table corner covers, outlet covers, or empty low shelves. Cleaning products are stored out of reach of little hands.

Please remember to include all guests in the number of people staying in the apartment including children.

This is a full time Airbnb apartment! The historic 1873 Richardson House is a renovated farmhouse. Located on North Street, a quiet street near center of Northampton. 1st floor apartment has 6 rooms: 2 bedrooms (queen beds), living room, dining room, kitchen, bath. Hardwood floors, large windows. Off street parking. Washer and dryer in basement. Bright, airy, and very quaint!

The space
The 1st floor apartment is recently refurbished. The kitchen and the bathroom and all appliances are very new! Wood floors are refinished as well. 2 queen bedrooms sleep 4 guests, and pull out sofas are also located in the family room. Enjoy the shared patio with fire pit and barbecue grill. This house is a historic 1873 farm house, and located in a very quiet area of Northampton with sidewalks in all directions, a short walk to the center, and just a few hundred yards from the rail trail!

Guests have the entire first floor to themselves. This apartment has two entries and lots of bright space. You have room to park up to two cars on the driveway. The first space is within the white lines closest to the door into the apartment. There is also room for another car along grass on the left edge of the driveway (near the lightpost). Please do not park in the "Reserved Parking" space- this is designated for the upstairs occupant.

The space
Our second floor apartment is in a six unit, three level building. Nothing fancy about the exterior but please don't be deterred. My daughter and I have worked to create a reliable slice of nice in a super convenient location. The apartment has just been renovated. Not a full gut renovation, but close to it. New kitchen, bathroom, floors, lighting etc and I'm the first in. The rest of the tenants are full time residents. They're nice and like living there. There's a working fireplace in the living room.

The free, off street parking space is ideal as the entire downtown district is in walking distance. Leave the car and explore on foot! If you want to stay in, the dining room table is PERFECT for playing the provided board games. There's 80's Trivial Pursuit in there! Kid favorite Sneaky Snacky Squirrel has also taken up residence.

Laundry is coin-op and on the basement level, rear of the biilding in a common space. Really affordable loads, too.

There's a convenience store a one minute walk away.

Other things to note
For sleeping arrangements, there's a king bed in the bedroom and a thick memory foam futon/chaise lounge (it's size is Full when it's flat) in the living room. Linens for the futon are in the closet next to the front door. The couch that's also in the living room is very easy to sleep on as well.
There are plenty of sheets, blankets and throws in the apartment to make sleeping comfortable.

UPDATE I've added a really nice camping cot and sleeping bag. The cot is comfortable and convenient for an adult guest or a kiddo that likes to sleep close to loved ones. The set is in the bedroom closet.

Our fully renovated guest apartment was designed to create a comfortable extended stay for up to three people and one tiny person (an infant/toddler). (Please see description of sleeping accommodations.) We have a 31-night minimum stay. The apartment features a central location, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful hardwood floors and furniture, charming shed for your bicycles, and an abundance of books, games, puzzles, and classic toys. The apartment occupies the second floor of our house.

We are recent empty nesters, so we've renovated and furnished our second floor to serve both as a completely private guest apartment with full amenities and a part of our own living space when our children are home during vacations. That said, we've been careful to put away anything personal, so feel free to spread out your things and make yourselves comfortable! By the time you leave, we hope you'll feel like it's your home, too!

The apartment has TWO "regular" beds for 3 guests (1 Queen bed for 2 guests and 1 twin bed). We also offer a portable crib.

Note to families with an infant, toddler, or preschooler:
We have a deluxe Graco portable crib that has two levels (for infants or toddlers). Please request it in advance, and I'll have it ready for you. Also, for a toddler or preschooler who has transitioned to a regular bed, our beautiful Vermont-made ash twin bed came with a set of two removable wooden railings, which I'm happy to install for you to prevent your little one from rolling out of bed in the night. They install easily, so please just ask!

Guests have full access to the apartment except one locked closet where I store additional Airbnb supplies. Guests are welcome to use our abundance of books, games, puzzles, and children's toys, including our beautiful hardwood train table (stored under the twin bed), battery-powered Lego train (stored under the queen bed), and extensive collection of Thomas the Tank Engine wooden tracks and buildings (stored in the maple toy chest in the twin-bed bedroom).

Allergy alert! We have a dog (a Labrador-Greyhound mix), named Dante. He has never been allowed upstairs, but if you have a severe allergy to dogs, unfortunately our apartment may not be the best choice for you.

The entire apartment is yours during your visit. Located up on the 2nd floor right on Main Street but away from street noise - its fun to look out the front windows! You will get a code for the key pads on the door to both the street level door as well as your apartment door a few days prior to your arrival.

We strive for comfort with a large skylit jacuzzi tub, master Tempur-Pedic bed, very well-stocked kitchen. Bonus: private, free parking (not common to find downtown!).

The space
A historic building that has been beautifully renovated. This modern, open-concept condo has unique architectural details that strike a great balance between spacious and cozy. The bedroom has a double bed with a Tempur-Pedic mattress, and a nook off the living room has a twin daybed with a memory foam topper on the mattress. If you are a group of 4, we will extend the twin to a double bed. Set the mood in the living room using the sound system and HUE light system. You can relax in the large jetted tub, watching the clouds or starry sky above through the skylight. The well-stocked kitchen with granite countertops and gas stove is a great place to prepare a meal. The coffee station has a beautiful view and is always stocked with local coffee. The private office has an electronic adjustable height desk with plenty of work space. This 1,500 sq ft home takes up the entire top floor of the building, so there are no shared walls.
