The Hollister House is located on a residential street surrounded by other beautiful Victorian homes. This unit is available for short & long-term rentals! The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. It is within a short walking distance to the main strip, "North Street" with great shops, restaurants, and activities! Minutes from great entertainment: The Colonial Theater, Barrington Stage Co & The Berkshire Museum. The Hollister House is centrally located within the Berkshires, providing easy access to attractions all year round! Whether you are here in the warmer months you can enjoy a short 15-minute drive to Tanglewood or spend the day on one of the many nearby lakes (Richmond, Onota & Pontoosac) for a day of swimming, boating, kayaking, and more! Or, visiting during the cooler months and spending your time out at the local ski resorts (Jiminy Peak, Bousquet & Butternut) all within a short driving distance from here! There are plenty of other outdoor winter activities such as; catching a show, snowshoeing, ice skating, ice fishing & cross-country skiing!

- "We love Tanglewood and wanted to stay for the James Taylor concert over the 4th. this was a terrific place for us and another couple. Lots of room! we enjoyed playing cards and eating out on the deck. the awning came in handy when it started to sprinkle. it is a quiet neighborhood and only 15 minutes to Tanglewood. We cooked all of our meals and the kitchen was spacious and ideal. The house is on the older side but we found it charming. The ACs worked well to keep us cool."

Should you blow a fuse, you can go into the basement, open breaker panel "1" and flip the tripped fuse back on.

Garbage
You are responsible for removing your own trash. This not only includes the trash in your room but in the kitchen trash can as well. There is a trash barrel just located outside behind the building in the parking lot labeled "Unit 1".

Trash pickup is every Tuesday morning so please make sure the 2 trash barrels as well as the recycling bins are put outside in the front of the building every Monday night. Once the City of Pittsfield picks up the trash, please return the 2 barrels (and recycling bin) back to their original locations behind the building.

Parking
Each room has their own personal parking spot. Your vehicle needs to be BACKED in with the front of the vehicle facing outwards.

Security
You will be provided a wireless key fob to access the automatic gate opener. You will find the key fob on your nightstand in your bedroom when you first check. Please leave the key fob on the nightstand in your room when you finally checkout. Should you lose the key fob please report it immediately and i will give you a new one. However, you will be charged a $50 replacement fee. There are also 4 outside cameras that record VIDEO & AUDIO. IF there is a problem, please let me know right away and i will review the footage.

Security Deposit

Nestled in a vibrant neighborhood, our cozy place offers everything you need for a memorable stay. Relax in the stylish outdoor patio after a day of exploring, whip up a meal in the well-equipped kitchenette, and rest easy in the comfortable bedroom. With easy access to nearby attractions, our place serves as the perfect home base for the city adventures.

Other things to note
Check-in/Check-out time: Check-in time is after 4 PM; check-out is before 11 AM. Late check-out until 2 PM is available for $30 after hour cleaning fee, subject to availability and host confirmation. Staying beyond the 11 AM check-out without approval will incur a $50 fee. Please coordinate with the host for any extensions in advance. Early check-in at 1 PM is available only with prior approval and there is a $30 early check in fee.

Wifi Access: Please make sure the internet wifi router (Round shaped google nest device) is connected to power and on. If it’s not connected to power, the internet speed will be impacted.

One Vehicle Limit: Guests are allowed to park only one vehicle in the provided spot. Additional vehicles will need to find alternative parking, which may include street parking or nearby public lots. Please be considerate of other guests and residents in the parking area and driveway. Please park ONLY in front of the building.

No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment. If you need to smoke, please do so at the outdoor areas away from the building and dispose of cigarette butts properly. A smoking fine of $150 will be applied if the no-smoking policy is violated.

Pets are not permitted. An unauthorized pet fee of $50 per night will be charged to cover allergen and cleaning expenses. This helps maintain a pet-free environment for guests with allergies. In the event that there is a violation the reservation is terminated without refund.

Quiet Hours: Please respect the quiet hours from 9 PM to 9 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all tenants. Keep noise levels to a minimum during this time. In the event that there is a complaint from neighbors, the reservation will be terminated without any refund.

Damages and Accidents: Any damages to the apartment or its contents caused by guests must be reported to the host immediately. Guests will be held responsible for any intentional or negligent damage. Inform the host of any maintenance issues promptly within two hours of check in.

Occupancy: Maximum occupancy of 2 people is strictly enforced, regardless of age. Violation of maximum occupancy will result in termination of the reservation with no refund. Only guests who have been pre-approved and registered are permitted on the property. Any additional guests must be pre-approved by the host. Violation of this rule will result in an additional fee of $100 and cancellation of the reservation with no refund.

Movable Space Heater: Keep the movable space radiator at least three feet away from curtains, bedding, furniture, and other flammable materials. Never cover the radiator or place anything on top of it while it's in use. Please ensure the radiator is placed on a flat, stable surface to prevent tipping over. Do not leave the radiator unattended while in operation. Please avoid using extension cords or power strips with the radiator; plug it directly into a wall outlet. Allow the radiator to cool down before moving or storing it. In case of any unusual noises, smells, or malfunction, immediately unplug the radiator and contact the host for assistance.

No Parties or Events: Please refrain from hosting parties or events in the apartment. The space is meant for quiet enjoyment and is not suitable for large gatherings.

Visitors Policy: Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight in the apartment. If you plan to have visitors, please inform the host in advance and ensure that they adhere to the apartment rules.

Trash Disposal: Dispose of your garbage in the designated dumpster located outside the building. Leaving trash inside or outside of the apartment will result in $25 fine.

Furniture: Do not rearrange furniture or decor.

Security and Locking Doors: Ensure that all doors and windows are securely locked when leaving the apartment or going to bed. This helps maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone.

Front Porch Security: Please do not make loud noise in this area as this may disturb other tenants or guests. Please lock the door while not in the apartment.

Illegal activities: Engaging in illegal activities on the property is strictly forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to, the consumption, possession, or sale of any drugs that are illegal in the state of Massachusetts. Additionally, any other activities deemed illegal under Massachusetts law are prohibited at the property. Violation of this policy will result in a fine of $250 and immediate termination of the reservation without refund.

Check-out Procedure: Before checking out, please tidy up the apartment, wash any used dishes, and place all trash in the designated dumpster outside of the building. Please close all the doors, windows and turn off the AC (if on) before leaving the place.

Please refrain from removing towels, linens, cups, TV Remotes, and kitchen items from the property. These items are provided for your convenience during your stay. Violators be fined $25 fee on top of the replacement cost of item.

Welcome to our cozy 1-bedroom studio apartment with a charming front porch and a private entrance with ample parking! Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, this inviting retreat is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway or a romantic escape.

The house is located just opposite of the Cumberland gas station where you can get breakfast, snacks, drinks or coffee along with any essentials. It’s only 3 mins drive from the Berkshire Medical Center and 20 mins drive from Tanglewood!

The space
Step inside and discover a thoughtfully designed space that combines modern comforts with a touch of rustic charm. The Eat-in-Kitchen area boasts a cozy dining table with 2 chairs, Keurig Coffee maker, Induction cooktop and entrance to the magnificent front porch. The cozy dining area is perfect for enjoying home-cooked meals or planning your daily adventures.

Prepare delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with all the essentials you need. Enjoy your morning coffee from the Keurig Coffee maker, take it outside to the front porch and savor it in the fresh air.

The bedroom features a plush king-sized bed adorned with soft linens, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Walk-in closet is available for your belongings and a high speed Wi-Fi internet connection available for your convenience.

One of the highlights of this apartment is the charming front porch, where you can unwind on comfortable seating and soak in the neighborhood atmosphere. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of drink or indulge in a good book. The private entrance ensures your privacy and allows you to come and go as you please.

Other things to note
Check-in/Check-out time: Check-in time is after 4 PM; check-out is before 11 AM. Late check-out until 2 PM is available for $30 after hour cleaning fee, subject to availability and host confirmation. Staying beyond the 11 AM check-out without approval will incur a $50 fee. Please coordinate with the host for any extensions in advance. Early check-in at 1 PM is available only with prior approval and there is a $30 early check in fee.

Wifi Access: Please make sure the internet wifi router (Round shaped google nest device) is connected to power and on. If it’s not connected to power, the internet speed will be impacted.

One Vehicle Limit: Guests are allowed to park only one vehicle in the provided spot. Additional vehicles will need to find alternative parking, which may include street parking or nearby public lots. Please be considerate of other guests and residents in the parking area and driveway. Please park ONLY in front of the building.

No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment. If you need to smoke, please do so at the outdoor areas away from the building and dispose of cigarette butts properly. A smoking fine of $150 will be applied if the no-smoking policy is violated.

Pets are not permitted. An unauthorized pet fee of $50 per night will be charged to cover allergen and cleaning expenses. This helps maintain a pet-free environment for guests with allergies. In the event that there is a violation the reservation is terminated without refund.

Quiet Hours: Please respect the quiet hours from 9 PM to 9 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all tenants. Keep noise levels to a minimum during this time. In the event that there is a complaint from neighbors, the reservation will be terminated without any refund.

Damages and Accidents: Any damages to the apartment or its contents caused by guests must be reported to the host immediately. Guests will be held responsible for any intentional or negligent damage. Inform the host of any maintenance issues promptly within two hours of check in.

Occupancy: Maximum occupancy of 2 people is strictly enforced, regardless of age. Violation of maximum occupancy will result in termination of the reservation with no refund. Only guests who have been pre-approved and registered are permitted on the property. Any additional guests must be pre-approved by the host. Violation of this rule will result in an additional fee of $100 and cancellation of the reservation with no refund.

Movable Space Heater: Keep the movable space radiator at least three feet away from curtains, bedding, furniture, and other flammable materials. Never cover the radiator or place anything on top of it while it's in use. Please ensure the radiator is placed on a flat, stable surface to prevent tipping over. Do not leave the radiator unattended while in operation. Please avoid using extension cords or power strips with the radiator; plug it directly into a wall outlet. Allow the radiator to cool down before moving or storing it. In case of any unusual noises, smells, or malfunction, immediately unplug the radiator and contact the host for assistance.

No Parties or Events: Please refrain from hosting parties or events in the apartment. The space is meant for quiet enjoyment and is not suitable for large gatherings.

Visitors Policy: Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight in the apartment. If you plan to have visitors, please inform the host in advance and ensure that they adhere to the apartment rules.

Trash Disposal: Dispose of your garbage in the designated dumpster located outside the building. Leaving trash inside or outside of the apartment will result in $25 fine.

Furniture: Do not rearrange furniture or decor.

Security and Locking Doors: Ensure that all doors and windows are securely locked when leaving the apartment or going to bed. This helps maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone.

Front Porch Security: Please do not make loud noise in this area as this may disturb other tenants or guests. Please lock the door while not in the apartment.

Illegal activities: Engaging in illegal activities on the property is strictly forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to, the consumption, possession, or sale of any drugs that are illegal in the state of Massachusetts. Additionally, any other activities deemed illegal under Massachusetts law are prohibited at the property. Violation of this policy will result in a fine of $250 and immediate termination of the reservation without refund.

Check-out Procedure: Before checking out, please tidy up the apartment, wash any used dishes, and place all trash in the designated dumpster outside of the building. Please close all the doors, windows and turn off the AC (if on) before leaving the place.

Please refrain from removing towels, linens, cups, TV Remotes, and kitchen items from the property. These items are provided for your convenience during your stay. Violators be fined $25 fee on top of the replacement cost of item.

Spectacular view of Pontoosuc Lake and mountains. During the warmer season, directly across the street, is Berkshire U-Drive Boat Rental. Rent a pontoon boat and sit back and relax and enjoy the view! Reserve now - bookings fill up quickly! There is ice fishing on this lake but be sure to have a Massachusetts fishing license! For snow skiing, Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort and Bousquet Mountain are approximately 12 minutes away! Tanglewood in Lenox, MA is approximately 20-25 minutes away!

Very nice, cozy two bedroom unit.

Both bedrooms have the same decor except one provides a king and the other provides a queen bed -- both beds are very comfortable. Neutral comforters are available for both bedrooms. Tell me what your preference is, and I'd be happy to switch out the comforters.

For added security, upon your arrival, you will receive a keypad text code for entry into this lovely, clean Airbnb unit.

Bottled water is provided (Poland Spring), coffee, tea and hot chocolate. (see all amenities)

Washer and dryer is available for guests staying more than 3 nights. Please handle with care and do not overload as these are not commercial appliances. Liquid detergents only.

Please know the driveway fits up to three vehicles of which two vehicles can be used for this unit. For extra precautionary measures, if you would like, you can back into the driveway so you may have a clearer view of the oncoming vehicles coming in both directions of the street. I have had multiple guests with larger SUVs, two at the same time, without any issues or complaints. At times you can just exit right out of the driveway, and other times you would have to wait a minute or two. Safety, of course, is first and foremost. The view that is in front of this dwelling is in fact breathtaking and spectacular
