The only small thing they needed to add was a bath mat for the tub, it was very slippery, and maybe a small step stool for shorter people to reach some items in the cupboard. I'm only 5'4". Other than that, we had an excellent stay. We did get to meet the owner, because we initially had trouble getting into the apartment and he was a very friendly person. - "This property was at most the horrible experience. Property is not at all where it states on the website. When we arrived the ceiling was falling due to an old leakage and when I communicated with someone in charge of property, they said maintenance will come. We stood for a week and they came at the second to last day of our stay. It was cold every morning and the windows were patched with garbage bags. Everything was prone to disconnect from walls such as everything in bathroom. In addition to paying for the stay they tried to charge me $59/per person per night. Everything was communicated but ignored. I even took pics and videos. In return I was giving a late check out with no charge so far who knows."

The A/C, heat, water pressure in the shower are all fantastic. There are 2 large closets to hang clothes. The building overall is safe. There is a childcare center on the 2nd floor that is mostly under control. This apartment is on the first floor with 5 stairs to reach the apartment. The terrain of the area is made up of hills. The street is on a hill and the adjacent avenue is on a hill. There is anything you could need within a few blocks but right across is a Dollar store that really offers everything and an amazing hair salon along with laundry service. The neighborhood can get loud but there's fans within the apartment that drowns out all that or turn on one of the huge fantastic televisions in the place. Host is kind and welcoming, but I recommend asking her for every single one of her rules, as well as stipulations on guests before you decide to stay, they are not all listed on the booking and it may sway your decision. The owner lives above and has access to the rental, so if that makes you uncomfortable I'd have a conversation with her about it. The space
This is a duplex apt.
Three bedrooms on the first floor of the apt. Kitchen & bathroom are on the second level also, M-F a children’s daycare is active on the second level from 8am to 5pm. Extremely quiet after that. Nothing on weekends.


This is my mothers apt. She currently lives on one of the 3 bedrooms and she will be there to ensure you have a great stay. She also is the one in charge of the daycare. Lovely lady - you would want her as a mom!
I drop by time to time to see her and assist her in anything she needs.

THE LOCATION!!! Is everything!
Near all transportation if you decide to go catch a baseball game to the yankee stadium on 161th street or just catching the D train to Time Square.

All convenient stores and some great #doordash options all around.

This is a quiet place and cleaning after yourself is highly required of all guests. Also, cleanliness is the watch word of any guest entering the space. the following are to be noted carefully:

-Temperature of guests will be taken on arrival and when the temperature records 100 and over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, the guest cannot stay in the apartment and 'the stay' will be canceled at no cost to the guest.

-Smoking, snorting, blowing, snowing and inhaling of tobacco and narcotic drugs of all kinds is strictly not allowed in the space. Flouting this requirement will lead to immediate cancelation of stay at the apartment and a surcharge of $80.00 to be deducted from credit card.
