Perched above a quiet detached garage in the charming town of Sunapee, this private hideaway is half a mile from Lake Sunapee and 3 miles from the famous ski trails of Mount Sunapee. Whether hiking, boating, leaf-peeping, wildlife spotting, skiing, or lakeside relaxation is your thing, the Loft is the perfect base for exploring Vermont and New Hampshire.

The space
This is a cozy detached Studio Loft over a two car garage with Mini Split AC/Heating, a private bathroom, and kitchenette stocked with all the basics, as well as some treats! The private exterior stairs up to the unit are on the side of the garage and are automatically lit at night.
We offer a guidebook and brochures for local restaurants, lake access points, hiking trails, parks, and other attractions, all within walking distance. We also have plenty of extra parking for RVs or trailers if you want to launch your own boat at Sunapee Harbor, only a half mile away. For winter activities, Mount Sunapee is just a few miles down the road!

The Loft's full size Tempurpedic bed is perfect for two, and the chaise couch offers a memory foam pull out bed for additional guests.
All linens, towels, utensils/cookware, and surfaces are cleaned thoroughly after each guest.
The kitchenette has a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, double electric burner, electric kettle, coffee pot, rapid egg cooker, cocktail set, and enough kitchenware and dining space to accommodate a handful of people comfortably.
The private bathroom has a standing shower, some extra storage space, a vacuum cleaner, and an iron / ironing board, and is also stocked with the toiletry basics.

You have access to the right side of the driveway, and a covered space inside the garage and other additional parking upon request.
The stairs up to the unit are outside the garage on the left. The back yard is private, so pets will have to be taken to the park just down the street. We are flexible about the front yard if you need some outdoor space, so long as you clean up after pets.
Other things to note
The Loft is nestled in a spacious, pet-friendly neighborhood, offering plenty of room to unwind while overlooking one nearby residence. It's an ideal spot for running or biking, with several parks just a few minutes' walk away. Families will appreciate the nearby playgrounds, though please note the Loft is not childproofed.
We reside in the log cabin adjacent to the Loft, but rest assured, the Loft is completely detached and does not share any walls, ensuring your privacy. We have a video doorbell on main cabin, but it does not cover the loft area.
You’ll receive the door code upon booking, giving you everything you need for a seamless and private stay!
