Built in the 1830s and owned by Susan and Nick Preston since 1982, Mountain Fare Inn is a pristine Ski Lodge that welcomes guests when the snow flurries are flying, the leaves are changing beautiful hues, and the flowers and vegetables are growing.

There are 8 rooms in the Main Inn, each with private bath, sleeping 22+ people; comfortable and fun common areas, dining room that seats 24+ people, newly renovated kitchen with 2 stoves, 2 refrigerators, extensive and well-groomed fields on 6 acres of grounds with porches & decks.

The adjacent Carriage House, was an old barn that was renovated beginning in 1989. With its three spacious guest rooms (sleeps additional 11+) and warm, inviting game room, it is a favorite gathering venue for groups of friends or families during ski season, family reunions, graduations or just summer fun!

The space
Built in 1764, this historic year-around retreat is tastefully restored and furnished with antiques with period accents. Common living room and dining room for guests.

Guest access
All private room with private bath. All bedrooms are on the second floor. As guests in the house you will have a key to your room and to the back door off of the parking lot and you are free to come an go as you please. Off of the dinning room is a refrigerator for guests with an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages and space for leftovers from some of the marvelous restaurants in the area! There is a Keurig coffee maker in the dinning room with an assortment of coffee and teas. These are available 24/7. Fresh baked goods such as cookies, cakes and other treats are available in the afternoon and evening. Many guests enjoy using the breakfast porch to read or to set up their laptops to get work done.

During your stay
As the innkeepers at the Colonel Spencer Inn, we are here 7 days a week. Our living area is connected to the main house and we are available to help make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Should you need us for anything we are a knock on the door away and if we have stepped out, the main number for the Inn rings to our cell phones. We are here to be as involved or un-involved with your stay as you are comfortable with.

A living room with fireplace and tv greets you as you enter the Inn’s front door. A large breakfast room is off of the kitchen. There is a front porch and back deck, lawn chairs in our spacious back yard plus a game room and sauna in the Barn Annex next door.

Spectacular views await you from this 2 bedroom cabin in Campton, NH, just minutes off 93. Watch the sunset right out the front windows while cozying up to the gas fireplace. We are centrally located between Waterville Valley and Loon Mountain, and just miles away from Owl's Nest Resort.

The space
This beautiful cabin with stunning views is connected to the main house by a walkway but is otherwise very private with a separate entrance. There are two bedrooms (each with king size bed), a full bathroom, and a spacious open concept living/dining area. The kitchen does not have a stove but there is a full refrigerator, microwave, sink, electric skillet, air fryer, and Keurig machine. Between the main house and the apartment is a firepit, gas grill, and hot tub that you are welcome to use.
