The "Vagabond" is a remodeled 50' houseboat docked at Badgers Island Marina located in Kittery, ME on the Piscataqua River.
The houseboat features a queen bed in both bedrooms as well as a queen pullout sofa. The Master bath has a head and sink while the Main bath has a shower, head and sink. The Galley features a refrigerator, sink, electric stovetop and microwave oven as well as a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans and a full set of dishware/utensils.
Also in the Galley is a dinette with seating for 4 as well as the bartop that has seating for 2.
In the salon is a sofa, 32" flat screen TV and wireless speaker.
On top of the houseboat is a beautiful outside deck where you can enjoy your view of the river while dining at the patio table that offers seating for 4.
On site at the marina is a washroom facility with 2 full bathrooms and coin operated washer and dryer units.
On the marina’s pier there is a full sized grill, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, etc…
Ice is available for purchase and there is free parking.
All linens and towels are provided for a $40 fee.
No smoking is allowed at any time on the boat, including the outside decks.

There is a dedicated desk and working space in the lower level den area just off the kitchen as well as a full size couch and smart TV and free WIFI. A perfect spot to get things done when you're away from your office.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, coffee maker and more for your cooking enjoyment. The refrigerator has an ice maker on the door and a dishwasher and electric range complete the necessary amenities for the modern kitchen.

The unit is supplied with ample linens and an in suite laundry. The kitchenette consists of a double sink, a dishwasher, an under counter Sub Zero fridge, and a plethora of counter top cooking devices. There is not a full range, but the system in place has worked out fine for prior guests. Access is by a set of stairs. Minimum rental period is 30 days.

The neighborhood is quiet and secure, it really is a special spot.

Completely refurbished duplex on a desirable back lot with limited views to Mill Cove on Spruce Creek. Brand new and durable vinyl flooring, fresh paint, and updated bathroom. New kitchen cabinets, countertops, refrigerator/freezer, oven/range, deep sink, microwave, fixtures and full size washer/dryer in unit. One mini split heating unit with the added bonus of air conditioning.

Other things to note
Unit shares a common wall with the adjacent owner occupied unit. No backyard access at this time. Driveway is split down the middle with neighbors, off street parking for two vehicles in tandem.

Through the door in the kitchen you'll find a two level deck with seating and a full size gas grill. Moving onto the yard you'll find a vegetable garden (that you're more than welcome to pick from!) and a hammock to relax on all inside the fully fenced yard.

There are streaming services available on the TV and high speed internet, allowing everyone to be on a device.

Suite 19 is a simple, modern, art-filled studio for two, on the harbor in Kittery, Maine. Private entry, designated parking, and ample outdoor spaces to linger. Our home sits in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk across a bridge to Portsmouth, NH or the quaint Kittery Foreside (village).
Begin or end the day by the water, watching the sights and sounds of a lively harbor unfold. We are close to beaches, hiking, and top notch dining. This is a place to relax, unwind, and take a deep breath.
The studio has a comfortable queen bed, a wet bar for preparing simple meals, and a slate rain shower. There is a small table to dine at (or work, IF YOU MUST) as well as two comfy chairs for reading. You have an outdoor patio space of your own with a BBQ grill, and the owners have an outdoor shower for those after-beach rinses. There is an outdoor closet on the patio that stocks beach chairs, a small day cooler, a drying rack for wet bathing suits and sundry other items.
The yard and waterfront spaces are shared with the owners and their long term tenant but there is plenty of space for all. There is also a goofy dog and an old three-legged, blind cat who you may see or hear from time to time. Animal lovers only please!
Our guests love the proximity of our place for walking to shops, restaurants, and an area locals call "Gourmet Alley" which sports a green grocer, butcher, bakery, seafood market, and chocolatier.

- "The location of this rental is superb. Its a stones throw from several residences but it feels very secluded. The driveway is at the end of a short private drive and leads to a very private location. The trees and other foliage offer great seclusion. The mornings and evenings were very quite and serene. We were able to enjoy multiple cups of coffee all while watching the wildlife. The house is cozy with basic amenities. When we arrived it was closed up and was a bit stuffy. We were able to open a few windows and find a few fans to help alleviate the stagnant "cottage smell". Out of the 3 days of our stay one night was particularly hot and humid. We did find a new-in-box window air conditioner in a closet but it was sealed so we didn't touch it. Having a working AC would have been quite nice. Contrary to the listing there was only 2 beds, no gas grill and we could not find the lockbox when we arrived. Both trash cans were also full so putting the garbage out per the rules was impossible. Pending a few minor inconveniences the overall stay was enjoyable. Great location to get away for a few days."

This charming 3-bedroom home is located on a quiet, dead-end street in Kittery, Maine. With Spruce Creek to our left and the Piscataqua River to our right, you'll smell the salt in the air and feel the breeze off the water as seagulls fly overhead. Both Portsmouth, NH and the beaches in York are just 10 minutes away, so you can relax on the sand during the day and then hit the town at night!

This beautiful house, built in 1911, has been meticulously restored to its original splendor with many modern updates. You'll love the original, winding wood staircase and pine board floors, and you'll appreciate the lightning fast internet for work or (hopefully) play, the completely redesigned and upgraded kitchen, and the open-concept dining room and living room with room for everyone at the handcrafted, wooden table.

Upstairs, enjoy three bedrooms each with a queen sized bed and each with easy access to the shared full bathroom with tub/shower. All bedrooms include a closet, and one bedroom includes a desk with a printer and scanner.

Downstairs, the beautiful kitchen contains everything you will need to prepare full meals. (Though we think you might prefer the top-rated restaurants nearby instead!) The kitchen boasts 3 seats at the island, a large refrigerator and freezer, an electric stove and double oven, as well as microwave, dishwasher, and Keurig coffee machine. Off the kitchen is a washer and dryer nook with a powder room beyond the nook. In the open living room/dining room, there are plenty of board games and books for rainy days, a Roku on the living room TV, and seats on the sectional couch, the rocking chair, and at the large dining table.

Off the kitchen, relax on the large, wrap-around, light-filled sunporch with table, chairs, and a futon that can be used for extra sleep space in warm weather. Like many Mainers, we don't have AC, but we do have a powerful ceiling fan in each bedroom as well as on the sunporch. The living room stays nice and cool throughout the year though we also have two portable fans that can be used as needed.

Come to relax with everything you could want and need within a 10 minute drive!

Other things to note
The owners live in an apartment on the property. We are a quiet couple and will respect your space and privacy! The backyard has been separated with a privacy fence, and you will find a picnic table with umbrella and lounge chairs on your side of the backyard. Enjoy!

Or just relax on my side porch, have a quiet cup of tea, enjoy the many birds that fly through, take time to read or have a little nap. Winston my friendly big gray cat will quickly adopt you. Your AirBnB guest accommodations are a first floor bedroom with a queen size bed. (Every guest comments on how comfortable the bed is and how well they sleep.) The AirBnB bedroom is a modest size. The room has a dresser-desk, a chair, a standing coat rack and small ottoman. The clean fresh sheets are cotton, as are the towels. The bed has a down comforter and extra blankets and pillows. You will have your own private bathroom located just outside your bedroom door. Bathrobes, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and shaving supplies are all provided. The welcoming side porch looks out at the bird feeders with lots of bird activity. I offer coffee, tea, yogurt, granola bars, oatmeal, and simple snacks. You can keep food items cold in your own compact refrigerator. You also have a coffee maker and hot water kettle in your seating area along with a microwave. Plates bowls and flatware are available. Please no major cooking.

Constructed over the course of 2021-2022, this beautiful tiny home has all the spaciousness that comes with vaulted ceilings, and maintains the coziness of a studio that feels like home. The space
Perfect for an artists retreat, romantic getaway or an adventure away with your 4-legged friend (we accept house trained and friendly dogs). Take advantage of the proximity of town with a .5 mile walk into downtown Kittery, 1 mile walk into downtown Portsmouth; swim, surf or lounge at the local beaches, or bunker down reading on the comfy couch or sipping coffee on small deck.

The house include parking for one car and keyless entry (see amenities in description for full list).

This Tiny House is separate from the Big House, but we do live on the property, and our doggie is curious and friendly. He will absolutely come say hi and expect treats from you (there is a treat jar we keep filled conveniently located within your unit for him and for your pupper, if you have one).

We feel it’s important to respect your privacy and ask the same of you. Our family lives on the property so we ask you to please not park, drive, or wander beyond the unit (indicated by a lattice fence.

The perfect gateway to the NH and ME Seacoast! We are located a few minutes from the highway, ten minutes from the beach and 60 minutes from Logan Airport. Break up your drive to Baxter State Park, or Acadia. Visit nearby Portsmouth, NH (10 min.), Mt. Aggie (10 min) or the Kittery Outlets (5 min.) We are minutes from everything, and yet in a tranquil, wooded setting!

The space
ACCOMMODATIONS:
You will be staying on the lower level of our two story split-level home. (We live directly above and you will hear us, our plumbing and our pets.) You have your own separate entrance, a small kitchenette/mud-room(no stove--microwave only), a small sitting room with dining table and large screen TV (there is a roll in cot available in this room for 1 person) two smaller bedrooms (one with a Queen Sized Platform Bed and one with a Full Sized Bed with a Memory Foam Mattress) and a full bathroom. There is a kitchen-style sink, a microwave, a dorm sized fridge, basic flatware and dishes, coffee pot, toaster and hot water kettle and coffee and tea. (NO STOVE)
Generally, since it is a lower level, the space stays cool. We do provide an air conditioner in each bedroom during June through September, however, in case we have one of those especially hot New England days!
We live in the home above. There is a locked door that separates your space from ours at the bottom of our staircase.

The hot tub is accessible year round. The fire pit is not accessible when there is snow on the ground. Also, the lawn chairs that are normally out around the fire pit are put under the deck for the winter. The gas grill is also stored under the deck for the winter and is only accessible to those who choose to pull it out (could be a snow issue) and put it back as they found it. There may not be a suitable space to set it up other than the driveway, due to snow.

There is off-street parking for one car in front of your entry door and for other cars a little further down the drive. In winter parking for the second car may be limited if there is heavy snowfall, otherwise there is normally plenty of parking.

SHARED OUTDOOR SPACE
In the yard enjoy the radiance of a fire pit while watching the stars. Relax in our soothing outdoor hot tub, surrounded by the beauty of nature. You are welcome to use the hot tub! And if you'd like to use the fire pit, please let us know and we will get that started for you. We do not allow guests to use the fire pit when we are not home.
Our yard is wooded, and filled with chirping birds at our feeders. Sit at your own picnic table.. Enjoy!

PETS
Dog: We have a large, friendly, fluffy dog. She is six years old as of 2023. Her name is "Misha" and she is a ball of love. She would be happy to meet you if you are so inclined. She is not allowed in your private space but she joins us in the yard.

Ducks- In the yard, we have four wandering ducks. Our guests are free to interact with our ducks. They love the attention.

Other things to note
-We provide basic bedding, bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths. If you require certain particular pillows or bedding, please bring your own. Our beds are standard beds with standard mattresses of the sizes/types described above. Generally, our towels are line-dried, so they will be scratchy. If you do not prefer this, please bring your own towels.
-We provide hand soap. Please bring your own shampoo, conditioner and other necessary toiletries.
-We provide a hair dryer located under the bathroom sink.
-Our TV is equipped with Roku, a device that provides you with some free channels and through which you can access any streaming services you may subscribe to.

The private entrance leads to a private suite that contains a. cabinet with a queen size bed and a fold out couch with a twin . Private shower and bathroom. Table and chairs for dining.There is also a relaxing area with roku tv. Area shops and beaches are close and historic Portsmouth just a bike ride away. Relax and and enjoy the East Coast with Boston less than an hour away by driving, bus or train or explore the witches of Salem, MA. There is more in the Presidential Mountain Range in NH

Guests have a. large open space to relax and watch tv or sit and socialize. They can also sit at the large table and put together a puzzle or play games or eat pizza . Easy access to a private shower. or a step out to a small terrace. is a nice welcome to a private getaway.

Our space is modern, clean and vibrant. It is a garden level apartment but gets plenty of sunlight.

Access to washer and dryer is not provided to weekend guests, unless in an emergency.

The host and family live in the upstairs unit. We often have children playing in the house, neighborhood, and around the yard. If the sound of children bothers you, this may not be the best fit.

The beautiful rugged coastline of Maine can also come with some adventure. As with many Maine homes, power outages may occur, especially during strong storms. We provide emergency supplies like flashlights, a first aid kit, emergency snow shovels, and bottled water to ensure your comfort. We are also quick to recommend local community buildings, cafes and restaurants in town that have power, if we do not. These outages can last a few hours or longer, depending on the cause. We do not offer weather related refunds outside of our cancellation policy so you may consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance for your travels in case you do need to cancel last minute. That being said, we do our best to be reasonable in extended power outages.

This unique New Englander is well lived in but exudes an artistic flair and cozy comfort. Bask in the sun on the large wooden porch or lounge in either of the two living rooms filled with books, art and Persian rugs. Enjoy a very comfortable king bed in the master bedroom and two unique single beds nestled in hand designed wooden built-ins in the second bedroom. A handmade stained glass window and eclectic tiles jazz up the main bathroom. The flower filled front yard feels fun to come home to!

The space
The house is on a small street off a busier road only five minutes walk to scores of excellent restaurants and bars in downtown Kittery. The flower filled front yard/garden also has a beautiful hand- built wooden porch. The property is a duplex, so there is a tenant living in the back half of the house, but these homes have entirely separate entrances.

Guests will have access to the entire front house, which has its own parking spot and off street parking in front of the house. The guests also have access to the garage and the basement and the large front porch.

A reminder that I do have two outdoor cats who may try to get in to the house. If you do not want them in the house that is fine. They will be fed outside (in the back) by someone else.

The space
This space has recently been transformed into a delightful, fully contained, spacious and private suite. While the suite is attached to the host's home, the two are separated by a wall with locked French doors with privacy windows. You are unlikely to be disturbed by noises from other living spaces. We are always happy to interact with guests, but want to ensure your privacy as well!

Entrance and Parking
Your entrance is right next to the studio, not the front door that the rest of us use. You will have a passcode to this door and there is a dedicated space for you to park in the driveway.

Sleeping
Brand new luxury Dreamcloud queen mattress and bed. (Guests are already telling me it's the best sleep they've ever had!)

Bathroom
There is a bathroom for exclusive use of guests in your suite just outside the room with a brand new enclosed shower unit, sink and toilet. Note: it is down 1/2 flight of stairs from the main room, off the foyer by your entrance. It has a deep utility sink for washing dishes as there is no sink in the main room.

Living Room area
From the comfy new Crate and Barrel sofa you will have a great view of the Piscataqua River, Memorial Bridge and the spires of Portsmouth. There is a coffee table and large smart TV with streaming. Wifi works well for remote work!

Kitchen
We know many guests come to the area to enjoy the local restaurants, but sometimes you want to eat in or store your leftovers. The studio includes a countertop with Keurig machine and kettle; mini fridge with freezer compartment; microwave oven; countertop convection oven; cutting board and knives; corkscrew; dishes, glasses and silverware. If there is anything else you need, please just ask. You will need to use the large utility sink in the bathroom for washing your hands and dishes.

Dining/Work
New modern dining set (white table and 2 comfy white chairs) for eating in or remote work. Lightweight so you can position it in front of the view if you prefer.

Balcony
Enjoy muted sounds of Prescott Park concerts in summer as you sit on your private balcony with a view of the Piscataqua River. With two Adirondack chairs and a small table, it's perfect for morning coffee or a cocktail at sunset before going out to one of the area's many great restaurants.

Storage
If you like to unpack, shelves are available for your clothes or other items, as well as a hanging rack for dresses, suits, etc. There is also a full length standing mirror.

General
There a brand new heat pump for this space, for both AC and heating. New light blocking honeycomb blinds have been installed on the windows for privacy and light/temperature management. However, some morning light will still get in through the atrium window. There are puzzles and games for your enjoyment; we have lots more next door if you would like to use any.

You will have exclusive access to your suite, balcony and bathroom, as well as access to the shared front yard and (usually) back yard.

The space
This space was tastefully redesigned and renovated with a modern touch. Use the new appliances in the kitchen and enjoy your meals at the butcher block island.

Every room has been tastefully designed to give you a great experience. Whether you spent the day at the beach, shopping in downtown Portsmouth, out on the ocean, or exploring nearby parks, you’ll be able to come back and unwind comfortably. Use the mini split to keep you cool during the warmer months or turn up the heat and get cozy in the winter!

Sit back and relax in the living room with mid-century modern vibes. Soak in the natural light from the large panel window, lounge on the couch or cuddle up with a good book. Plenty of pillows and blankets make the space feel like home! The 43" LG 4K Smart TV is perfect for catching up on your latest Netflix binge or watching a movie. If you prefer Netflix, Amazon Prime, or another streaming service, feel free to log in. If TV doesn't feel right for your stay, open up the basket on the bookshelf to find cards and board games.

After a busy day, crawl into bed and get comfy on the luxurious Casper mattress with 800 thread count sheets - like sleeping on a cloud! There's plenty of closet space and a dresser to store your clothes for longer stays. Prefer to live out of your suitcases? That's fine! Slide them into the closet to keep them out of your way.

Fort Foster, Seapoint Beach, and Prescott Park are all close by and easily accessible by car or by bike if you are up for the adventure.

Fort Foster, now part of Fort Foster Park, is a historic fort active 1901–1946 on the southwest tip of Gerrish Island in the Kittery Point area of Kittery, Maine. The park includes beaches and trails. Battery Bohlen and Battery Chapin were the major parts of the fort.

Prescott Park is a ten-plus acre waterfront park in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The land was purchased in the 1930s by two sisters, Josie and Mary Prescott. The sisters, public school teachers, had used an inheritance to systematically purchase and clear properties along the Piscataqua River. Prescott Park features theater productions and live music all summer long. You can even book a boat ride on a gundalow. Right next door is the Strawberry Bank Museum where you can step back in time with a historic tour, ice skate in the winter, or just walk around and enjoy the beautiful landscape.

Other things to note
This apartment is located in a duplex. There is a tenant nextdoor, so please be respectful (and they will too). There's no need to whisper and tiptoe around, we want you to enjoy yourselves! If you can avoid late night tapdancing sessions and early morning heavy metal music, that should be good enough.

The apartment can only be accessed via the front door.

Unfortunately, this apartment is not animal-friendly. One of our cleaners has a severe animal allergy that can be life-threatening - the presence of hair, dander, or saliva can cause anaphylaxis. Please be respectful of her health and safety.

Contemplate in the medicine wheel. Enjoy your cozy room. Occasionally we host a small musicians circle with your permission. Join us if you would like. You can sit on the north porch or picnic table on the cool west side of the house or the patio with grape vines on the sunny southeast side. Kitchen is not for cooking. NO KITCHEN PRIViLEGES except for tea and instant coffee making. We encourage you to explore the surrounding area restaraunts and its natural beauty and man made delights.

During your stay
We are here to greet, help you settle in and then whatever you want or need. Be sure to read details prior to booking. No intrusion. Enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with us. We can have a chat at arrival and departure, all else is serendipitous. After that interaction is as needed and requested by you.
We can offer a ride into either town or take you on a stroll, perhaps. We can take you to one of the local yoga studios. There are two yoga teachers hosting this air b&b. Welcomed to join us for yoga or for meditation. There is a tai chi school in the area and also Qi Gong. We do not intrude on your space.

Other things to note
WiFi of course is available upon request though we highly encourage techno-fasts (digital detox) and encourage a natural energy rather than electronic ones. The bathroom will be stocked with soap, shampoo and other essentials, 2 robes and a closet and a place for your suitcase.
We augment the heat with a fireplace insert on cold winter nights and occaisonal cool summer evenings. Sit near the fire and feel toasty. Werely on Maine air conditioning, ceiling fans, and open windows after 3 pm before 8am to collect that most often felt cool sea breeze

We will be glad to offer your tea, coffee all year.
Our home is simple but elegant in the New England fashion. Your room has a ceiling fan which is fine for most summer days, when the air changes at 3pm and the cool seabreeze blows our way. You will want to open your indoor shutters for the smell and taste of the salt air. (Maine Air conditioning).
We want your stay to be pleasant without either of us being intrusive on the other. We are home during the day, retire to the 2nd floor early evening.

There is plenty of parking in the driveway and a sunny side porch, or multiple shade trees in the hot summer heat. It also has an outside dining table and 4 chairs nestled in the garden.

We will consider well behaved pets.

The house has window air conditioners in each bedroom and one in the living room. (during the summer season) It will keep the house cool in the event of very hot weather, but it is not central AC.

We do have a Smart TV at the house and provide a Netflix account for your use. (Please note network tv channels are not available)

TRAFFIC NOISE - The roads around our property can be busy at certain times of the day. Traffic is impacted by the Navy shipyard schedule and the local drawbridges. If inconsistent traffic noise will impact your stay, this may not be the best fit for your group.

POWER OUTAGES - The beautiful rugged coastline of Maine can also come with some adventure. As with many Maine homes, power outages may occur, especially during strong storms. We provide emergency supplies like flashlights, a first aid kit, emergency snow shovels, and bottled water to ensure your comfort. We are also quick to recommend local community buildings, cafes and restaurants in town that have power, if we do not. These outages can last a few hours or longer, depending on the cause. We do not offer weather related refunds outside of our cancellation policy so you may consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance for your travels in case you do need to cancel last minute. That being said, we do our best to be reasonable in extended power outages.

Moving into the house you will find a desk space that’s perfect for getting some work done while you are away on the 1 Gig fiber internet. The bathroom has a full shower and updated toilet and vanity with everything you need for your stay. Next you will find the cathedral ceiling kitchen with dining space that overlooks the pond and woodland on the property. Keep an eye out in the mornings and evening for wildlife! Finally there is a single bedroom with a queen bed that has a green tea infused memory foam mattress, closet, and dresser.

The space
We are a duplex. Owner occupied on one half and a 1,000 square foot apartment on the other half for your enjoyment. The bedrooms are up stairs with a queen size bed, 2 twins in one room, a queen size bed in second room and a queen size bed in another smaller room. The bathroom is on the main level. Full kitchen with essentials for creating meals at home. Blender, mixer, pots, and pans to name a few. Washer and dryer are located in the apartment. Gas grill is on the deck for your use. There is plenty of parking. The fenced in back yard will give you peace of mind for your children (human or furry) to play. Watch them from the kitchen or borrow one of our video monitors. There is a fire-pit in the back yard for your evening enjoyment. Rocking chairs on the front porch for your leisure time.
*Please note that the town of Kittery has started issuing licenses for Airbnb's in the town. Our license # is ABNB-32. As a result, our ability to list bedrooms has been reduced to 2 and we are required to say we sleep no more than 4 adults. Sorry if this is confusing because we have another sleeping area if you want to spread out but we cannot call that a bedroom anymore and the only other category on Airbnb to explain it is an office with a queen bed. Also one of our bedrooms is width of the house which runs from the front to the back of the house and has a queen and 2 twin beds in it. Our total bed count remains 3 queens and 2 twins for sleeping.

In the winter you can cross country ski out the backyard. Blaze your own trails in the conservation land fields. There are no groomed trails. (Dogs are not allowed to be on the conservation land)

You can walk through the summer gardens that are being created. Visit the cows in the barn! Please make sure you wash your hands after petting the cows or letting the cows lick your hands. Thanks

Other things to note
We require a Friday night and Saturday night stay in the summer. If you want to check in on Thursday, you can if you check out on Sunday. We recycle and compost. There are heifers on the property but they belong to the Johnson Dairy Farm next door. A heifer is a female bovine that has NOT had a calf, thus it is not a cow.

28 Wallingford Square is in the heart of Kittery Foreside, with a slice of industrial waterfront, and views towards the Portsmouth Naval Yard. Enjoy watching the lobster boats, the lights of the Naval Yard, or witness the wildlife passing by on the waterfront. This unit is only a 15 minute walk to downtown Portsmouth, and a mere 50 paces to the best that Kittery Foreside has to offer. This building is off Government St, on the lobster docks, tucked in behind the Corner Pub and across from Anju.

The space
This is a 2 unit building. This particular apartment is the ground floor, water facing, walk out unit, with a private entrance leading into a 475 square foot, private living space. There is one bedroom, one bathroom, and a living area, with a kitchenette. There is not a stove, but if you are anything like us, you are here to eat out in the Foreside! Enjoy the deck, with 2 chairs and a table to enjoy the waterfront scenery. We have appointed the unit with some of our personal mid-century pieces.
The bathroom has been freshly remodeled, and we have built new decks to enjoy watching out to the waterfront.

Parking is for 1 car, on the grass, or next to the grass on the pavement if one of the lobstermen is blocking the easement. We pull our vehicle partially on the grass to still enjoy the views from the deck while allowing the lobstermen come and go on the working waterfront.

We may allow up to 2 housebroken small dogs under 20lb on an individual basis. Pet fee of $200 per pet if approved. Dogs must be crated when owners are not around if approved.

A simple, modern, suite w/private entry, designated parking, & ample outdoor spaces to linger. The garden-level suite, in a quiet Kittery neighborhood, is within easy walking distance to downtown Portsmouth or the Kittery Foreside. Relax on our harbor-side deck or on your patio w/ morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. Close to beaches, hiking, & top notch dining. Please see "Other Things to Note" below.

The space
Our garden suite is clean, crisp, and well appointed. It sits on the ground level of our home, which is a duplex. The suite has a wall of windows, including a set of french doors that looks over your patio, across our gardens, over the water to Portsmouth., NH Our property continues across a quiet road to a deck on Portsmouth Harbor.

The suite has a wet bar with a small sink, small fridge, an infrared cook top, microwave, toaster, a coffee press, and tea kettle as well as an outdoor grill. It has modest cooking implements and is sufficient for simple meals. Truthfully, many people visit our area to eat at our amazing restaurants, so we've kept cooking options simple. We try to stock a "first morning" of coffee, tea, olive oil and vinegar, basic spices etc. There is a great produce store and two butcher shops nearby. There is also ample dining of all kinds (take-out, bakeries, BBQ, and fine dining) within walking distance. Our area also has a number of craft and nano breweries. Happily, Uber is available if you choose to sample our local beer.

Your private bath has a spacious, step-in slate rain shower with dimmable lighting.

We are a net-zero carbon emissions, sustainable house. The ground level suite is naturally cool in summer- there is a small fan but no AC.. In the winter it has radiant floor heat driven by a wood pellet boiler. Your electricity comes from the sun via our solar array. We use natural cleaning products and stock natural bath products.

The suite bed is a Nectar-brand mattress with both foam and fill pillows. Our sheets and towels are pure, white cotton.

Though a single room the suite includes a place to dine (inside and out- depending on the weather) as well as comfy chairs for reading.

We also have a grear closet on your patio that has a beach cooler, chairs, a drying rack etc. We are within a short drive to some beautiful beaches. (We'll be happy to share our favorite spots on the coast!)

We have tenants who, like us, use the backyard and harborside deck, but there are many outdoor options so we can have our own space if we want it. Please note, we have an exuberant, young dog and a three-legged, elder , disabled cat. We keep the suite pet-free to accommodate those with allergies. However, if you do not like animals and won't feel comfortable seeing them in the yard or on our deck, this is not the place for you.

There is no TV in the suite but our dedicated WiFi will allow you to watch movies and web browse as you wish on your own devices. There is also a Bluetooth compatible Tivoli radio for streaming your own music. That said, we all try to be respectful of each other, so our place is not suitable for party-level acoustics.

We stock a blow drier and small clothing steamer. There is also a cleaner in town that, with advance planning, will dry clean and press clothing for a special event.

A key lock box (a code will be provided before arrival) will give you access to the suite and allow for contact-less check in.

The Suite is totally yours. The patio outside your suite is totally yours. The yard and waterfront deck is shared with us and our tenant. You have your own parking space and we'll provide additional instructions for a smooth arrival a few days before you arrive.

The perfect place to call home while you explore the glorious Seacoast of Maine and New Hampshire. The house is centrally located to everything but on a quiet side street in a perfect local neighborhood that is great for walking. Our 1,250 sq. ft. home has been lovingly renovated to be open, bright, welcoming and comfy for the entire family. The house has recently refinished hardwood floors throughout and an open concept kitchen and dining room with butcher block countertops and a huge center island for gathering.

This isn't just a characterless rental, it's our home and is meant to feel like your home with lots of personal touches to help you relax and fully enjoy your vacation.

There's one queen bedroom and one king bedroom and a full bath on the second floor. On the first floor is a big, bright comfy living room, big screen TV (with YouTube TV, Netflix, Amazon) and bookshelf stocked with some great beach reads. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you might need to make delicious meals (spices, oils, baking basics) or Maine lobsters (pot, crackers) and we provide coffee and tea and filters for the coffee pot. A bright and breezy dining room with seating for four.

We provide essentials for those traveling with little ones including: fast table high chair to attach to the counter, a pack and play, outlet covers, silicone dining items, arts and crafts, books and a baby gate for the stairs as well as some beach supplies. We have a great selection of board games for the whole family.

Our backyard is slice of heaven with a private back deck with a patio dining set, lounger and lights for night chilling. Our sizable yard has a hammock and lovely garden full of flowers and birds - so many birds. We also leave our yard games for you to play including corn hole and we have a Bimini Ring Game set up off the deck. There's a Weber propane grill and just the right amount of privacy for a wonderful Maine escape.

NOTE: There are A/C window units in the bedrooms and fans on the first floor, but there is NOT central air conditioning.

Guests will have access to the full house with exception of the basement home office where we store our stuff. Guests will have access to the basement washer/dryer area but we ask that guests do not access any other part of the basement. Guests will not have access to the larger shed in the backyard. There's a driveway with room for 2 vehicles and street parking is always an option. Please try and limit total cars to 3 out of respect for our neighbors.

Other things to note
This house may not be suitable for elderly guests or those with mobility issues due to the lack of a bathroom on the first floor.

The house does NOT have CENTRAL air conditioning but we do provide window AC units in both bedrooms and fans on the first floor.

We do not have children ourselves so the house isn't "child proof" but we have made every effort to make those guests traveling with children feel welcome and safe. We provide outlet covers and cabinet locks on those cabinets with cleaning supplies.

All supplies including yard games and child gear are provided for guest convenience but are not the responsibility of host to ensure functionality, safe use or set up. Guests are solely responsible for safe set up and use of supplies. Hosts are not liable for any injury due to malfunction of supplies.

Welcome to the Seacoast! This 4-bedroom hideaway is privately nestled in Kittery Foreside while still being close to the action. Decorated in the theme of a seacoast farmhouse, this home is perfect for 2-3 couples looking to escape, a family or two for a seacoast vacation or extended "work-cation". With ample space to stretch out our extremely well equipped home is within an 18 minute walk to downtown Portsmouth, 6 minute drive to the Kittery Outlets and 12 minute drive to York beach.

The space
Once you walk in the front door you will immediately feel the ocean and farmhouse vibes from the crisp seacoast decorations, distressed wood kitchen table, coffee bar and wooden blanket ladder. The first floor provides a full bathroom with laundry area and a wonderful kitchen that includes everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal.

The second floor includes another full bathroom and 3 bedrooms tastefully decorated for your relaxation. One of the bedrooms doubles as your private office and with ultra high-speed internet, everyone can be on a device while you are on a Zoom meeting.

Our third floor master suite is the showstopper. It includes a THIRD full bathroom with dual sinks, a walk in closet, king size bed, private electric fireplace, sitting area and your own personal bar supplied with ice bucket, fruit juice, soda and glasses for that perfect night cap.

We supply sufficient trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, and other household essentials designed to last approximately three days. Should your stay extend beyond this period, we request that guests take on the responsibility of replenishing these items.

Our cottage is right in the heart of Kittery Foreside. Some of the best restaurants in the region are literally steps from your door. The town dock is next door, and at the right time, you can see the lobster boats load up, or even better, unload.

The space
Our cottage is an eclectic mix of styles, with lots of different artwork to peruse. The bedrooms are on the second floor, and the bathroom is on the first floor, so keep that in mind if you don't want to venture down in the middle of the night. We also have an open staircase (with a handrail on the wall). If that concerns you, this might not be the right place. We do have a baby gate available for the top of the stairs, and we've had many toddlers here (including our own!) and haven't had a problem, but if it worries you, this might not be a good fit. We have a nicely appointed kitchen (or so I'm told), a big living room, and a small office/laundry room which leads out to the private deck. Take a look at the reviews and see if it's right for you!

The cottage comes with one dedicated parking space right next to it. You also get a private back deck overlooking the busy foreside area (if you choose to peek over the fence). This is a downtown location, so please keep in mind you have commercial buildings next door, but the house is well insulated and quiet. The town dock is right next to our property, and a great way to experience the waterfront. We have a shared backyard that is available to our guests.

Other things to note
We are dog-friendly, but we do have a pet fee. Just add your pet to your reservation and Airbnb will take care of the rest! We do not accept reservations with cats.

Brand new home designed "beach contemporary" by HGTV star decorator Deb Salmoni of Scott's House Vacation Rules.

Main level living area is open and spacious featuring a fully loaded kitchen, dining table for eight, three bar stools at a large island with quartz countertops throughout. Stainless appliances. 55" Sony 4K TV with Sonos soundbar and subwoofer sound system for television and music. Half bath and laundry on main level. Multi-purpose gym with queen trundle sleeper, closet.

Second level sleeps six in three bedrooms with three full bathrooms, two of them en suite . The master suite has King sized bed, walk-in closet, and a mini deck that seats two with nice views of the water. The space
This c. 1800 Maine Cape Cod-style home has been lovingly restored to an adorable and comfortable home away from home. A fully-provisioned kitchen, laundry on site, large Roku TV and many recent updates throughout the house make this home a convenient retreat after a busy day of exploring the Maine coast. The dining room table provides seating for 6. The master bedroom has a king bed and room for a twin upon request. Bedroom #2 has 1 king and 1 twin bed. A daybed with trundle is in the alcove in the living room for extra seating by day and sleeping for 2 at night. Upon request, we will provide baby items which can include a pack n' play with clean linens, stair gates, cabinet locks, booster seats, an infant swing and age appropriate toys. We have toys, games and books for kids of all ages, including a WiiU for bigger kids. The backyard is completely fenced, great for kids or a pup. You will have access to the entire house and fenced yard (aside from a small room above the garage that contains our personal items). This is a single family home that we also use as our guest/family vacation house. We will not be here during your stay but live nearby if you need something. Text us anytime that you need to. Security cameras are located at both exterior doors, the driveway and yard for your safety (and ours). There are beach items in the garage you are welcome to borrow (chairs, coolers, umbrella, beach blanket, boogie boards, beach towels and toys).

Other things to note
Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10 am unless other arrangements have been made in advance. There is one bathroom in this house and it's up a rather steep flight of stairs on the second floor. There are stairs to get into the house through both the garage and front door. This house was built in 1800 and though updated, still has the character of a house built in a bygone era (narrow doorways, steep winding stairs, garage space we only use for storage or as giant mudroom).
The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard blows its whistle at 7:30 am, noon and 3:30 pm on weekdays to alert shift change (quittin' time!). Don't worry, it's normal, nostalgic and we look forward to hearing it! It reminds me a bit of the old fog horns. This is something you'll hear all over the seacoast area, not just in this home.

We are a duplex. Owner occupied. A 2,250 square foot apartment on one half for your enjoyment. The Master bedroom is on the first floor. There is a playroom off the kitchen which could also be used to sleep 1 to 3 people if you want us to set up the air mattress. The playroom has interchangeable regular or toddler swings, a slide, toys and games. A second downstairs laundry/sleeping area has a full size bed and washer and dryer. Three bedrooms are up stairs with a queen size bed and full size bed in one, 1 twin in a second room with space for an air mattress, and a third bedroom with a XL twin size bed and a full size bed in another smaller room. There is a common area in the middle which has a full size bed in it. The bathroom is on the main level. Full kitchen with essentials for creating meals at home. Blender and mixer to name a few. Gas or charcoal grill is on the deck for your use. There is plenty of parking. There is a playground for your children near the barn where you can visit the cows. Rocking chairs on the front porch for your leisure time.

In the winter you can cross country ski out the backyard. Blaze your own trails in the conservation land fields. There are no groomed trails.

You can walk through the summer gardens that are being created. Hydroponic and dirt vegetables when in season will be available for your meals. Visit the cows in the barn!

Other things to note
We require a Friday night and Saturday night stay in the summer. If you want to check in on Thursday, you can if you check out on Sunday. We recycle and compost. There are heifers on the property but they belong to the Johnson Dairy Farm next door. A heifer is a female bovine that has NOT had a calf, thus it is not a cow. Please make sure you wash your hands after petting the cows or letting the cows lick your hands. Thanks

The property is located within walking distance of downtown, close to shopping mall, outlets, restaurants, parks and beaches, hiking trail just steps from the house. House located in a historic location, The famous Rogers Family were the former owners of this wonderful property that holds a lot of history. Rogers, who had no surviving children, donated parts of this family land to the town back in 1958. A plaque that still lies near the trailhead of the park states the land had belonged to the family since 1677, and was formerly known as Eagle’s Point. It also says ancestor Thomas Rogers and his son Joseph were among those who sailed to the New World aboard the legendary ship Mayflower before descendants eventually settled here in Kittery.

Kittery Cottage is a private, newly built property located 1.5 miles from the charming city of Portsmouth and minutes from many of the seacoast beaches. With a ten minute walk to Kittery Foreside you have access to many restaurants and shops. The Kittery outlets are less than 2 miles away.

The space
This property is newly built and first time use in 2020. We have a level 2 EV charger available for your use.
Inside the cottage, enjoy your choice of activities. A glass of wine in front of the gas fireplace by the touch of a remote provides a cozy end to the day, or perhaps you’d prefer watching your favorite program on the 55” Flat Screen HDTV with Apple & complimentary cable and a DVD player. High-speed internet is also provided and a sound bar (or use the Alexa) so you can play your favorite music. We have also recently provided a record player with a growing collection of records. A variety of games and books are provided for your enjoyment.
The master bedroom is designed to please the senses, providing a queen bed with a pillow-top cover, and entry to its own half bath. A sliding glass door leads to your personal deck with seating. The ceiling fan and air conditioning will keep you comfortable during summer nights. Linens are provided for all the beds.
The second bedroom is equally comfortable, also featuring a queen bed with a pillow top cover and ceiling fan, plus a flat screen TV.
The living room includes a sofa that one person could sleep on, with comforter and pillow provided. The living room also has a ceiling fan and A/C.
Upon entering the well-equipped kitchen you’ll see granite tops and all new appliances including a gas range with double oven, over-the-range microwave, dishwasher and full size side-by-side fridge with ice dispenser. Small appliances include a standard coffee maker, blender, crock pot, toaster, fondue pot, hexclad cookware, and kettle.
The main bathroom has heated floors and a tub with jets and shower. Towels, hair dryer, soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided.
Off of the living room is a slider that leads to the deck with comfortable seating around the gas fire pit. There is a gas grill and outdoor dining table to enjoy your meals outside.
Downstairs you will find a private laundry room (detergent provided) with washer and dryer so you don't have to pack all those sandy beach clothes. We have 2 tall beach chairs and 2 sand chairs, beach towels, and a small cooler for your use to bring to the beach.
We also have a standby home generator so no need to worry about losing power.

Other things to note
We provide sufficient garbage bags, toilet paper, and paper towel throughout your stay. If you run low please just let us know. If you would prefer a keurig coffee pot rather than a standard I can provide that, but do not provide pods.

Guest access
Three bedrooms plus all common areas are open to guest use. It is our home most of the year, but when we travel we give it an extra cleaning and make sure there is plenty of breathing room for you and your belongings. (That is, you won't be looking at all our family photos or squeezing in around our clothes in dressers and closets.) In return, guests are asked to respect our personal belongings that do remain in the house. You will have access to yard, one garage bay for storage and driveway parking for two cards (three when combined with the studio apartment).

A perfect retreat just a 12 minute drive down the coast from beautiful seapoint beach, this cape is nestled in the hip Kittery foreside neighborhood. The area is lined with indy restaurants and shops and guests are a lovely walk or 5 minute drive over the bridge to Portsmouth, NH. The space
Sip your morning coffee in our beachy 3 season room, or among the trees on our back deck. Cuddle with family and friends on our over-sized sofa in front of the large screen TV in our sunken living room. Enjoy a gourmet meal or board games at the table in our grand dining room. Or just curl up with a book in the library. Our unique house has room for everyone in your party to relax and stretch out.

Enjoy the expansive private yard in the front of the house. Take our soccer balls, baseball equipment and bicycles for a spin or play around of hoops with your family in our front yard. In the evening, roast some marshmallows at our fire pit and serve cocktails from our outdoor bar station.

On the back patio, host a bbq and dine al fresco! We also have a roomy, airy 3 season room where you can recline and watch the woodpeckers peck right outside the window.

Inside you'll have plenty of room to spread out and relax! Relax on the world's comfiest sofa in our sunken living room while watching squirrels scamper outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. Enjoy your pick of streaming options--Hulu, Netflix, AmazonPrime, HBO Max, AppleTV, DisneyPlus)-- on our 55in tv. We also have a library/playroom, brimming with family games, toys, and books.

The restaurants in Kittery are some of the best, but you still might want to plan meals at home to take advantage of the magnificent kitchen. We provide all the basic equipment you need to chef-it-up: from a KitchenAid stand mixer to a top-of-the-line range and oven. We also provide foundational cooking supplies, such as seasonings and olive oil. Dine around the eat-in kitchen nook or spread out at our expansive dining room table, which can comfortably seat eight.

Coming to work? Set your laptop up in our office on the first floor. Great wi-fi, desk, lamp, basic office supplies, and office chair await you. While you work, enjoy the view out of the idyllic landscape out your floor-to-ceiling window.

Where will you sleep? Take your pick! Upstairs, the master bedroom offers a queen size bed with en suite bathroom with tub. The master has a 45in tv with all the same streaming options as downstairs and a desk and chair, as well as plenty of space for your belongings. Across the hall are two more bedrooms (railroad style--go through the first room to get to the next). The first room has a twin bed with a twin trundle that can be pulled out from underneath. The second has a full bed. Both have desks, and are decorated cheerfully with books and toys.

Finally, downstairs, in the evenings you can transform the office into another master bedroom: pull out the sofa, inflate the sofa air mattress, and enjoy! The downstairs half bathroom is directly across the hall.

We take your comfort and safety seriously; we hire a professional cleaning team to prepare and sanitize the house between each guest and have our neighbors on standby in case anything urgent comes up during your stay.

Guest access
There is ample parking in front of the house. From the house, you can walk to downtown Kittery's funky shops, galleries and restaurants. A short ride gets you to the beach, downtown Portsmouth, and the outlets in Kittery.

Other things to note
We permit pets on a pet-by-pet basis. Please share information about your furry friend in your reservation request. We prefer three night bookings from Labor Day weekend through thanksgiving.

The space
Our home is a charming newly renovated 4BR 1BA house that sleeps up to 8 people. Perfect for a couple, family or group of friends. Located in a quiet neighborhood. You will enjoy its walkability, farmers porch, and generous private back deck with dining table that looks over a forested wetland area. (Depending on the time of year, this can get water filled and may not be safe for young children to be left unattended.) There is space for up to 3 cars in the driveway. Washer/Dryer is located in the basement.

Guests have access to the entire house as well as the driveway and front/back yard.

We have a Smart TV at the house. (Cable is not provided) Log into your personal streaming accounts with the apps we’ve pre-downloaded.

We will consider well behaved pets. Please request permission for any pets in advance.

We love living in a neighborhood! We ask all guests to be mindful of the proximity of our neighbors. If you are enjoying the decks outside, please come in by 10 pm.

POWER OUTAGES - The beautiful rugged coastline of Maine can also come with some adventure. As with many Maine homes, power outages may occur, especially during strong storms. We provide emergency supplies like flashlights, a first aid kit, emergency snow shovels, and bottled water to ensure your comfort. We are also quick to recommend local community buildings, cafes and restaurants in town that have power, if we do not. These outages can last a few hours or longer, depending on the cause. We do not offer weather related refunds outside of our cancellation policy so you may consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance for your travels in case you do need to cancel last minute. That being said, we do our best to be reasonable in extended power outages.
