If you would rather cook then the grocery store is conveniently located within 1/4 mile enjoy the newly remodeled kitchen equipped with a 4 burner stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot, (keurig), griddle, blender, and all the common cooking supplies (dishes, pots/pans/utensils etc).

Blue Lobster cottage has everything you need for a perfect Maine vacation! It has the best location within Summer Village. It sits on a quiet cul-de-sac bordering the woods and feels very private ( just two other cottages in its cluster). It is convenient to get to all pools and many of the other amenities. The cottage has a designer beach feel with soothing colors and superb details. It technically sleeps 6 but this cottage is more appropriate for 5 due to the square footage. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with newer hybrid mattress, a large bureau, and a wall mounted smart tv (no cable). The second bedroom has a full size bed with a twin trundle bed underneath. Both of the mattresses in the second bedroom are newer*. The beautiful living room has plenty of room for relaxing and watching tv. It features a pull out sleep sofa chair that opens to a twin size memory foam bed. You will also enjoy the large Smart TV, wall AC unit, and an assortment of books and games. The cheerful sun room has a stylish dining set for six with matching sideboard, and a reading chair. The updated bathroom features a tub/shower combination with a great rain shower head. There is a stackable washer and dryer in-unit for your laundry needs. Within our home, AC units are located in the main living room and the 2nd bedroom. (heat available for non-summer months as well). The primary suite has a queen sized bed and a full bathroom with tub (newly renovated in June 2022). The bedroom has a full slider leading to the patio and a large grassy back yard. The yard abuts the protected Rachel Carson Preserve. The 2nd bedroom offers both a queen and a full bed. The 2nd bathroom (off the main living area) has a stand-up shower.

Wells beach is a flat soft sand beach that is great for families, surfing, swimming & finding crabs on the jetty nearby and fishing in the harbor. Get up early to see the most amazing sunrises from the beach over the Atlantic Ocean. The beach, our home and Wells town is still as beautiful as ever even after a stormy winter.

Everything in the home is new since the it was completely renovated down to the studs in 2014. This ground floor unit features granite counter tops in the kitchen, 2 TVs, new appliances, washer/dryer, outdoor shower, parking for 2 cars, gas grill, and WIFI access and a bed rail for children. This rental has it all and is the perfect rental for family! We were renters on Wells beach for 15 years and understand how much easier it is to have all the conveniences of home while you are away on vacation with your family. The location of this house is at north the end of Atlantic Avenue near the public parking lot so traffic is minimized. Make yourself at home at this homey, second-floor corner condo conveniently situated only two miles from the vast stretch of sand and tidepools on the Atlantic coast. When you're not out basking on the sand, relax and watch the world go by from the spacious L-shaped screened porch - one of only two in the complex. It's furnished for your comfort, and the outdoor table is a great place to enjoy a meal. Prepare something delicious at the comprehensive kitchenette, or bring back your favorite seaside eats from one of the nearby restaurants.

You'll find an abundance of entertainment before you even leave the property. The on-site rec center hosts an indoor pool, sauna, pool table, and basketball court.

The community pool is closed January, February and March. It reopens in April and April thru August you can swim from 8am to 10pm. September thru December the pool also is open with pool hours of 8am to 9pm.

We offer private room & bathroom with semi private access. 6 miles to Ogunguit, 12 miles to Kennebunkport! Near train station for trip to Boston! Room is cozy with many amenities. EXTRA BEDROOM AVAILABLE with double bed (add'l fee). Coffee in your room! Our home is great for couples and solo adventurers. We have a white lab who is very enthusiastic and friendly. She'll greet you with enthusiasm at first, then will stay politely away from your private area.

Very cozy New England style room(s). Private rooms & bathroom on separate side of house. Access through our front door (we never use front door ourselves). Queen bed with feather bed topping! TV with over 100 channels. Cozy reading chairs and light. Swimming pool. Second bedroom available for additional people. (Only available for a second couple traveling with you, or couple with grown children.) Will not be rented out separately.

Semi private access to bedroom(s) and private bathroom through our front door and straight up staircase. Refrigerator access. Washer / dryer for extended stays. Beautiful extra second bedroom with a Double Bed for two couples travelling together, or a couple with grown children. Beach chairs, cooler, beach umbrella, boogie boards available for guests.

During your stay
We have a dog (white lab) who is very enthusiastic and friendly with people. After greeting you and getting to know you, she'll keep to herself. We live in the house (we both have jobs, so will be in and out, but often gone.). While there, we will try to give you privacy. Will be here to greet you when you arrive, and assist you during your stay! We are eager to help you on your vacation experience as we know the best all of New England intimately. Text messaging to us anytime of the day is welcomed.

Other things to note
This is not a private studio, or apartment. The rooms are set on one side of the house (Cape style home), and access is through our front door. (We use side door.) Of course, there is "Lacie" our very sweet and friendly dog. She is a white lab breed, who's goal in life is to greet and kiss everyone she meets. If you are allergic to dogs, bring allergy medicine!, if not, you'll love to meet our lovable Lacie.

If you have detergent allergies or special needs, please let us know in advance and we will be happy to accommodate if possible. All linens, pillows are cleaned and sanitized after each visit.

This studio unit at the Lighthouse Condominiums was completely remodeled, redesigned, and all furnishings and appliances are brand new for summer 2021. Walk, bike, or ride down Drake's Island Road to the beach; wander the antique shops; and dine at dozens of the best local restaurants within a 5 mile radius!
