1) We ask that you carefully review our courtyard and common area rules: A) The courtyard and other amenities are limited to Hyatus guests in your party and at most 2 outside visitors unless granted explicit prior approval B) Courtyard hours are strictly enforced and are from 8 AM to 11 PM C) While guests are welcome to enjoy the courtyard and amenities, guests cannot host events for outside visitors or any event with more than four people. Building rules are strictly enforced by on-site staff.

2) Smoking of any kind is not allowed, including on balconies and in shared spaces. Smoking violations are subject to a $500 fine plus the cost to clean, deodorize, and repair damages. Our building is monitored with tobacco and smoke detectors.

This apartment is located in a safe and family friendly area. This is historical! This a very special location, minutes from the Inman Square, public transportation, great walking distance to all of Somerville and Cambridge neighborhoods. This is where any tourist would want to stay, which is why I chose to live here!

- "Had wonderful visit with our son and exploring the area! Lots of places within walking distance!" - "Owner advertised the wrong address in listings which made us drive around. Only when contacted did the owner give the right address and key code information. At other places owners have communicated well in advance of check in time. Owner also advertised as sleeps 4. Not really. Only one bed while a blow up mattress was provided. Not comfortable and lost air throughout the night. Linens were itchy. While the towels were thin, itchy and too small to even properly dry ones self. Owner just wanted to take advantage of the high occupancy time in Boston and not provide a comfortable place to recharge. Not recommended "

This is a room with a twin size bed on the second floor of a 2 family house located on the hearth of Magoun Square, in Somerville. Fisk Ave is a tiny street, with low traffic and is very quiet. The house is located right behind CVS drugstore and Dunkin Donuts. At the corner you will find a Brazilian bakery with all types of smoothies, groceries and delicious Brazilian foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner at a very affordable price. There are many others restaurants around the corner, along with several small neighborhood business. After a long trip, go across the street to a Float Spa, Wellness Center, to relax, get your joins loose after a long flight and get in to a deep state of relaxation, check them out at (URL HIDDEN)

We love traveling, Ma has been our home since 1983. We do speak Portuguese in addition to English, Caio is fluent in Spanish, too. We love animals and have two cute cats, who are all rescues.
We have been blessed with two children, grown now and living away. So, the empty-nest syndrome, our love of travel, meeting new people, and experiencing new cultures have inspired us to host with Airbnb.
We do our best to be there for the checking in, however, due to our working schedule, isn't always possible. Arrangements will be made for the key and your checking in instructions will be sent 24 hours prior to your arrival with all instructions.

Other things to note
All long term guests must agree for the housekeeper to have access to their bedroom one time ( day TBD ) per month for cleaning. The Common areas are cleaned weekly.
Upon every guest arrival, we will supply shampoo, tissue, toilet paper, bath soap however, all long term guests will be responsible for the replacement of their personal supplies at their own cost.

The studio is in the garden level of a quintessential Boston style triple decker located in Somerville/Cambridge - Harvard University, MIT, and Lesley University are within the vicinity. This home is steps away from great local cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops. It's also a 10-minute walk to the newly-opened Union Square T Stop (green line), making the city accessible from the apartment.

The studio apartment comes with a full sized bed, writing desk, ensuite bathroom with shower, and kitchenette. It's perfect for working professionals and students as it's on many bus lines and a 20-minute walk to the red line.

This location is minutes from the T (Boston's subway), and less than 30 seconds to a bus stop that will take you to Harvard, Central Square, or MIT. There is plenty of on-street parking and one off-street parking spot for those who need. Please inquire if you desire.

Also, there are plenty of cheap eats and restaurants nearby, while the Assembly Square complex is just down the road.
