1) We ask that you carefully review our courtyard and common area rules: A) The courtyard and other amenities are limited to Hyatus guests in your party and at most 2 outside visitors unless granted explicit prior approval B) Courtyard hours are strictly enforced and are from 8 AM to 11 PM C) While guests are welcome to enjoy the courtyard and amenities, guests cannot host events for outside visitors or any event with more than four people. Building rules are strictly enforced by on-site staff.

2) Smoking of any kind is not allowed, including on balconies and in shared spaces. Smoking violations are subject to a $500 fine plus the cost to clean, deodorize, and repair damages. Our building is monitored with tobacco and smoke detectors.

3) This apt is located in a quiet luxury complex, so we have strict quiet hours from 10 PM - 8 AM. To ensure the comfort of our guests, this apartment is equipped with NoiseAware decibel detectors - if you have any questions, please let us know.

4) Parties, events, or large gatherings are not permitted. Guests cannot host events for outside visitors or any event with more than four people. Building rules are strictly enforced by on-site staff. If you plan to invite your own guests, please contact us for approval.

Other things to note
This apartment is located in a safe and family friendly area. This is historical! This a very special location, minutes from the Inman Square, public transportation, great walking distance to all of Somerville and Cambridge neighborhoods. This is where any tourist would want to stay, which is why I chose to live here!

- "Had wonderful visit with our son and exploring the area! Lots of places within walking distance!" - "Owner advertised the wrong address in listings which made us drive around. Only when contacted did the owner give the right address and key code information. At other places owners have communicated well in advance of check in time. Owner also advertised as sleeps 4. Not really. Only one bed while a blow up mattress was provided. Not comfortable and lost air throughout the night. Linens were itchy. While the towels were thin, itchy and too small to even properly dry ones self. Owner just wanted to take advantage of the high occupancy time in Boston and not provide a comfortable place to recharge. Not recommended "

Maryann was a pleasure to communicate with, was generally helpful and quite responsive to the few needs I asked for off the bat. The neighborhood is great, with all of the things you want in city life, but was also very quiet in the evenings. Maryann was a wonderful host, making sure the apartment was stocked with all of the home and cooking basics (and then some). She checked in with us multiple times while we stayed to make sure we were comfortable- when we asked about a toaster (hers had broken) she immediately ordered us a new one! Easily the most accommodating host I've ever had :) It was really important to me that we stayed somewhere that felt like a real home and that would have all of the supplies we'd need (pots/pans, mixer, washing machine, etc.), and this place was way beyond my expectations and standards. For a shorter-term stay, I think this would be a wonderful 'home base' for exploring the area- there are a lot of wonderful restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
